I forgot what were Cal’s pokemon On that battle. I think he has a charizard and magmortar? Can his kiki survive a stab fire boosted attack while getting damaged by the field and probably outspeed

    Barbaracle 36, Turtonator 36, Hakamo-o 37, Typhlosion 36, Charizard 37, Magmortar 38.

He has a Lombre with Fake Out and likely will evolve it to Ludicolo, assuming it doesn't learn anything else important. I think maybe Hydro Pump at some point in the 40s?

I don't understand how I missed the Lombre 🤦‍♂️ it's on his active team.... although the point still stands that he won't know to fake out Hitmonlee specifically to prevent unburden. well we can hope that, Kiki (or maybe Cal in some wierd Universe) will drive the point home, we all know that Solaris' Chomp will just get the BS clause

Countering Hitmonlee and its Unburden ability is quite easy. The Normal Gem is used when Hitmonlee uses Fake Out on the first turn after it gets swapped in. So just use something faster that knows Fake Out as well.

I mean i only listed the speed and everything as a possible discussion basis, i realy don't think the Hitmonlee is going to be the problem here, although it should be said, to counter fake out with fake out you kinda need to know it's coming, which is not going  to be the case in a blind nuzlock of all things (also i don't think he has anything that learns fake out anyway), sooo if you honestly expect strats like that your gonna get disappointed

This guy will dumb luck his way through Kiki somehow anyway, so it doesn't really matter how he's trying to do it.....

well probably though that seems a little harshly put

just noticed that the field made the poison move part rock type which made it super effective that's why it did much less to machamp despite having the same special defense this gave me flashbacks to the chess arena in reborn which claimed a live in the same way with I believe strength or psychic also giving rock typing

Thats's... wow i NEVER noticed that, and yeah giving like 4 moves extra rock typing is about 50% off what Reborn's chess field does... seriously that field may as well not exist. That kinda reinforces my feeling that Rejuv would benefit from having ingame Field effect readout's like Reborn, it has a txt. file in the Downloadfolder but... i only ever look in there if something wierd happens tbh

  5. Well this guy IS lucky if nothing else, isn't he? though for PULSE Muk it really helped that Umbreon was basically free to set up on.
As for Kiki as Azery pointed out, half of Kiki's team (Machamp, Toxicroak & Gallade) only has strength as their Fighting STAB (actually does it get STAB? or does it still count as normal for that? and if it does, does it get double STAB from Gallade?) which being a wierd Fighting/Psychic Move any Dark Type is just straight immune too, so the best move on these 3 vs. Mightyena is Rockslide, Poisonjab, and both of those respectively, odd huh? In the same vein, the only straight Psychic Move on Kiki's Team is Lucario's Psychic, everyone else has strength(it hits neutral albeit with a field boost vs.Poison) for that (or nothing in the case of Hitmonlee), meaning, the Swalot might take the attacks better then one would think, though i still doubt it can absorb everything.
Speaking off Swalot, while reaching PULSE Swalot would be a massive accomplishment, i'd love to see that, just in a taste your own medicine kind off way.
Back to Kiki, speedwise we are looking at Hitmonlee being the fastest with 96 speed before Unburden 192 after (20 IVs 60 Ev and Jolly) then we have Lucario with 104 Medicham at 97, Gallade & Toxicroak both with 84 and lastly Machamp with 59, sooo just for information, priority Wise Hitmonlee has 1 Normalgem Fake out, and Toxicroak has Suckerpunch
(yes i tend to analyse stuff like that and ramble, sorry not sorry)

And this time, ill write down all of the Meteor grunts names, so that fanfic writers all over the world may rejoice, as lovestories and rivalry between the Meteors may unravel!

ALL RIGHT THAT'S IT!... my stupid excel sheet. that I spend WAY to much time on is getting cleaned up and shared 😆 if nothing else than to help the poor poor fanfiction writers to figure out which Grunts exist, how oftern they interact with the player and which canonically die...
srsly though if you are really going to do that, it's actually more work than it sounds... believe me...

I've heard rumors on the forum though that Rejuvenation might include Gen 8 stuff some day.....can't say if those rumors have any thruth to them, but like i said: i am glad that at least Reborn won't have Gen 8!

Jan somewhere (or was it Zumi?) personally said that the very next version will include the Gen 8 Mons, and probably new Moves if there are any. In fact the Status Thread includes Progress bars for that. But it was stated they wouldn't include Dynamaxing and the like (for now anyway) sooo yeah.

I don't think i used Z- Moves too much when running through Gen 7 soo dun know, i liked the games (I don't really expect challenge from main series games anymore, thats what fangames are for)
As for gen 8 stuff, not really convinced about the Dynamaxing/Gigantimaxing thing, but I will see when games are out, (not necessarily myself, to poor for a switch). But i don't really see how the Mons could hurt, but i understand why Reborn doesn't include them, the game is way too close to completion to try and shoehorn those in, (finding areas to put them, updating teams too include them where they fit, code them and their new abilitys in, in the first place, spritework etc.)
<.< woo just got the curve to get back on topic

Just to be clear, from the title of the thread E19 will be the last one? Or are there whispers of some content beyond that.

Even if there is, I don't expect it to be anytime soon, The actual Gen 8 games could potentially take a couple years to finalize (if it has the '2nd part' games of the generation like Emerald, Platinum, BW2, etc), and the Reborn team clearly needs rest

Well yes, it has been stated that E19 is indeed the last Episode and includes, the story conclusion as well as the League (probably interlocking here) as well as the entire postgame, infact that's all that's missing to it beeing done (which will still take a while) but up to the end of the Story is mostly done (according to Dev Blog), as for Gen 8 games... that isn't relevant, Ame, Cass and other's have stated that Gen 8 mons and mechanics will not make it into the final version of Reborn.

and it's there all the time during day and night

Well... shows again i shouldn't assume, i figured it would be Night only because someone would have seen it (Right next to a TM!) if it was there all the time... oh well.
I saw it on my most recent playthrough, so if i see any others that aren't here i will post (my previous main file had 104+ core, but that one was created during V9 sooo i think i got some double on that one)

  10. Why only Rift Gyara you ask? well Jan found it fit to put quite a few fights in the early game, that you are supposed to lose, story wise, to make sure you know how weak one is at the start (as oppossed to the battle machine or whatever later, not that pokemon battles matter in here *Cough*) and SOMEHOW rift Gyara is one of those (had to read that in the forum at some point and didn't believe it so i went to test it, you are in fact allowed to lose that one), hence it's still around later for that sidequest with Crawli (who if I remeber correctly can't get to the thing because him seeing through his bugs or something, which i don't get. can he not find it with the bug eyes? and if so what point is there to that then?). then there is also Melia Vs. Madelis (yes you play Melia for that battle, lv18 Togepi vs lv20 Houndoom doesn't take a genius to know how THAT goes) since V11 i think, Madelis' Shadow Mewtwo and of course Madam X and her edge-chicken, there are more "allowed to lose" battles but those are the ones the game basically assumes you lose either way (safe for some changed dialogue of course, but the win really doesn't matter).

I would say that Venam would be the type to say that "if the pot calls the kettle black, the kettle is still freakin black" but that would imply some self-awareness she clearly doesn't have

Yeah that's the Rift Garbo i know, ridicolously tanky (150/200/200 base bulk if i remember right) with a field that gives it free recovery, fun. in fact it's defenses at level 62 can be compared to some (relativly flimsy) level 100 mons, see spoiler for exact stats (ignore the poison heal ability, that is it's ability as of V12)

    Spoiler

    1865991268_GarbodorStats.jpg.07fc6fe3de947730ed84fb0c2d5fd31f.jpg

slower than a snail but with that kind of bulk you don't need speed
as for Melia's reaction... she literally was in the presence of the thing for at most 30 min or so AT MOST, but it's hers... i guess it's her mutated trashbag, but wow didn't realize she was that attached to the bag. (that's how this Garbo was created, for those that don't remember, Venam & Melia experimented with some myth that Trubbish come into beeing, through leaving trashbag's in Sewer Water to long, Venam 2 small ones, and Melia 1 BIG one, and they were right....) don't think i need to mention Melia beeing unthankful, thats par for the course a simple "Thanks, [Player] for helping safe(ing) my Garbodor Favorite Trashbag, i missed it in the last 3 years" or something would make her at least a little more bearable. As for her only having 5 mons currently, as of V12 that be 7 at this point in the game

    Spoiler

Togekiss, (crested)Meganium, Zoroark, Doublade, Gardevoir, Snorlax & Hydreigon

(even though later it's still mentioned she only has 5, that dialogue was overlooked in the rework i guess)

  11. So small collection of things i found:

1.Music: Nastasia's appearance on the SS Oceania, technically still tries to play "Stupid Yo" despite that track not beeing in the downloaded version sind V11, Same thing with Magma Drifting and "Feeling - Hotheaded", both result in complete silence, Nastasia's Scene can get away with it, but it's wierd for the Magma Drifting (if one manually adds these BGMs to the folder they play obviously)

2.Dialogue Logic: On the Trainride to GDC Venam and Melia have a talk about when Melia is going to get a 6. member for her team, this contradicts the fact that as of this Version (older) Melia has a total of 7 Pokemon (Togekiss, Zoruark, Gardevoir, Snorlax, Hydreigon, Meganium and Doublade) before this point, oversight after the reworks i guess. Also when Venam follows Lavender in GDC, Venam claims to have seen her trough her Window, when she saw Lavender from the Roofterrase (or what ever you call it), that 2nd one probably is just me beeing nitpicky though
    3. Invisible Erin: As seen in the Screenshot Erin disappears for a few dialouge Boxes when confronting Bladestar's Dugtrio Mech (probably just so taken aback by the sheer ridiculousness of the thing 😜  )

  12. Okay First of this run is a hilarious read, and shows Aevium's Insanity pretty well. Seriously what is in the water there? and can someone keep me supplied with seperate drinking water so i don't catch what they have? (still not over the freaking "infinite Nuggets")
As for the Garbodor, yeah that one is hard to remember, it's probably a little easier now after 2 changes to that section since this run started, and shows it a bit more near Rift Gyarados, I guess the implication is suppossed to be that you fight the thing from inside while Garbodor and Melia (nevermind she has only her useless Togepi on her then) from outside.
As for Rift Garbo itself, i definetly found that one the first instance of the Game ramping up the challenge on the Rifts. (To be fair Gyarados and Volcanion are weaker than their normal forms and Carnivine is... still a Carnivine, it's add's a scarier than it is) The thing is just sooo tanky

Every evil thing is this world seems to just be dying to get to her.

And then there's me fending them off with an axe.

Okay sorry, but from that line i got the picture of you beeing Melia's overprotective somewhat Psychotic Dad XD

  13. I recently started a Dark-Mono, and noticed that Zorua is avaiable way earlier than listed, namely before Shelly, a fake Corey spawns on an accessible rooftop in Beryl Ward and the Event progresses from there until it reaches an Empty House near the Nightclub. And you can catch the lvl.30 Zorua there. Pretty sure the Event is Weather reliant, sadly don't quite recall which though (i wanna say windy and at night).

I don't remember if the grass outside of the Grand hall has alolan rattata at night or if that is only after restoration.

I can confirm that the earliest that A. Rattata is found is after Corey, specifically in Lapis' Alleyway, pretty sure there are none in earlier Places
(specifically the Grass outside Grand Hall still has normal Rattata at Night, so must be a Restoration thing)
I'd also like to say how useful this Guide is. thx for doing this!

  14. I think i found a minor Character consistency error. Well, after wanting to keep track of the various Team Meteor Grunts (love the attention to Detail here btw) I noticed that one Particular Grunt swaps gender in later Encounters. Namely Meteor Grunt Antoine starts out as a Male Grunt when Battled in both Mosswater Factory and Pyrous Mountain. but on Route 3 after that xe(lets stick with Adrienn style neutral for now) is a Meteor Dame. which continues  with beeing a Female Meteor Ace on Ametrine Mountain and Agate City. I would upload Screens but i am not allowed to do that yet.

Edit: The Encounters themselves are consitent, meaning the Overworld Sprite and Battle Sprite/Trainer Class Match, just the same Character on different Encounters is Inconsistent
