To go through the tall grass you have to walk, you can't use the bike.

Iirc, you can't go though that cave yet, and if I'm not wrong, it connects with Byxbysion Wasteland.

Was it the old doll that you get from the ranger mission? Cuz I already had it. Maybe I'm not doing is right. From what I understand I've to wander right to left inside the hidden cave to get it to open?

Then, you just have to circle the structure from right to left (starting and ending from you read the hint) without detaching yourself from the wall of the same structure, and when you do that, it will say something like "the Old Doll is reacting to something".

Ahh that's beacause you need an special item you can find thanks to one of the Ranger's quests. A ranger will give you a key to access a room full of graves in Weeping Depths. You have to interact with one of them (I don't remember which one) and an entrance will open. In that cave you will find that item.

iirc, you have to go around from right to left, and then the passage will open (i don't remember if you need other pieces)

You can get a Honedge in Mirage Tower much later in the game. For Deino you need three Dark Materials and a Soul Candle ( but I think you need to beat all of the gyms). And the Gible is in Sugiline Cave on the desert area (much later in the game too). Iirc you need to beat 14 gyms in order to get Gible and Honedge.
