There actually is other things to base this theory on;
Like the fact Xerneas hasn't been seen in the game yet (as of V12), despite being the main Legendary of the game and even the game's icon. So, there's a possibility it may show up in version V13.
The only question is: who will use it?
I for one, would rather the MC using it, then someone else... (and it's not just because i want to use it.)
Because it would be crappy if the story built up to that point and then had someone else catch the thing instead of us. Like, I don't know, Melia?

I mean, we already have Zygarde. Two legendaries amongst this particular trio seems overkill storywise. And it's not like Melia is automatically going to get it. And even is she did... So what? We're going to get it regardless, since every pokemon will be available by the final version.

Yes, he wasn't doing it out of malice, and regrets it now, but remember that this prophecy isn't very specific. If it doesn't really care about who fulfils a role, would it care about the specifics of why they fulfil it? Regardless of his reasons, Ren did betray us, and considering what happens to members of Team Xen who fall out of order, his betrayal looks like it's gonna be pretty permanent.

Right, Just rename that to Scripts.rxdata and you should be good. Even though it's for v11, it works with v12 too. V11DebugScripts - Copy (2).rxdata

Can we maybe revisit discussion on the 4 lights and 4 darks? I still think Ren is the one for Betrayal, even if it's becoming somewhat less likely as time goes on.

I guess Freya and Kieran are far from the only "master manipulators" in the game, but they seem like the only unambiguously evil ones. The puppet masters, Spacea and Tiempa and Crescent could all have done it, but I doubt any of them would want to end the world with Storm-9.
I mean, yeah it's implied, but confirmation would actually give her a motivation to kill Anathea instead of just letting Indriad blissfully live out his life with her. And I'm inclined to believe it's someone we haven't met yet, instead of Freya and Kieran. Why would either of them manipulate Gardevoir to do the deed? In fact, why even go through her when they could just directly go to the cops, or go through Mr. Blakeory?

That seems rather vague though. A missing piece of the puzzle could just be that she thought Indriad was better off without Anathea, and that she was just holding him back. Or she could actually have been manipulated by someone else, like you suggest.

Would it though? We already have Blaziken and Greninja, and are about to get what is essentially fire Greninja, so it's not like Grookey would end up being the only viable starter choice.

The Ape Starter will probably be in the endgame too if you didn't pick it first.
Anyway, perhaps using Arctovish with the Fishious Rend attack in the Nim fight could work? Since you have that Trick Room set up.

I don't think Madame X would be that. She did save us in the past before, has something to do with the book that lets us save Rift Garbador, and she has given her admins second chances after the failures, like how she doesn't actually punish Madelis until she completely screws things up at Mt. Valor.

V is most likely not her real name and she seems to be a character who works from the background so it could also make sence that she has a high position like e8, but also is a member of an evil team like bladestar bec only a few people know who she really is.
Idk if she really fits for an e8, maybe we continue the discussion about her when we finally get to see her in v13 or later.
Ah and about piano girl being an e8 member. Thats actually also a theory i had some versions ago. But right now i dont think so anymore, i think if she really was that important we would see her more often, i dont remember if we ever saw her again after fleeing from the prison.
She shows up with Patty at that Caffe in GDC.

I don't think that's a good point. It's like, we also never see Anabel in the same room as Madame X, but they're not the same person.

I feel like Melia being sad for Nim's death is more so a matter of being a decent human being and mourning the death of someone you know. And part of the grief could come from the fact that Melia tried her best to saved Nim, but failed.

Sure, it's an optional legendary, but us getting a member of what seems to be the main trio for this game at all seems pretty important, right?
