  1. “Hello? We’re experiencing a surge of trainers equipping Assault Vest to several of their Pokémon. Is something wrong here?”

“Not really. From the perspective of the A.I., this might be a good thing.”

So, I haven’t started to make new content at the moment due to usual routing IRL stuff that I have to deal with before calling it a day and enjoy midnight activity. My goal is to quietly re-upload Adventure around Christmas holidays. The surrounding areas of Tinder Village has been recolored to contain light blue grass and moderate blue trees to make it winter themed, and I already got that covered. What I am still doing is to find a right moment to be at the computer to edit most of my trainer rosters in one sitting, specifically between the events of post Tullborn Tournamant to present, as the stuff I wrote in my notebook contains those trainers and not before that.

The trainer rosters editing revolves around the held item, Assault Vest, an item introduced in Generation VI that makes the holder gain 50% more Special Defense while not being able to use non-damaging attacks. Most Pokémon who is an all out attacker with or without setup moves and decent or very high Special Defense will benefit from this item. I have the assumption that the computer controlled opponents wouldn’t know exactly when to use setup moves or entry hazards, so most of the sets I’ve made are all-out attackers, designed to put as much pressure as possible against the players. Rock types would get another layer of stat boosts as the Sandstorm weather makes Rock types get 50% more Special Defense. Combine Sandstorm, Assault Vest, and 252 EVs of Special Defense, and they can even take some Super Effective hits!

As of my notebook scribbling, the amount of trainers that use Assault Vest has surpassed 50%! Those who use Pokémon that are Special Attackers will have a hard time landing OHKOs once the re-upload is complete.

    —————————————————————

“So, I noticed that it’s been exactly one year that I’ve started working on with this side story, and while that much time has passed, I still have motivation to continue working on this side story because I still have some work to do. But there are some rocky moments that I had to deal with regarding this side story.

Before I go on, I am glad of the work I’ve accomplished to this point instead of either being intimidated due to how many features RPG Maker has or stressing myself out regarding future workload. But to say that I spent exactly one year of development of this side story is actually an overstatement, because I did not actually stay up every night to do this. Plus, there was no development team but just myself (although I did get some help from those wonderful Spork team regarding a few sprite edits and syntax corrections), so trying to accomplish something that I had in my mind in one sitting is easier said than done. There’s a lot of going back and forth when testing stuff; sometimes it didn’t turn out the way I wanted, so I had to close the screen and correct them. But in the end, when it works, then I can move on to the next segment. Whenever I want to expand something, I may do that on a later date.

Back to some rocky moments, I initially had DL links for public release, but is repeatedly deleted shortly after releasing it due to some errors that I overlooked, and sometimes players won’t be able to progress. That paints a bad picture of what would’ve been a unique challenging game. As of now, I still have no plans to make this a public release as I currently send them privately to some of my most trusted friends including ICSW and ScaldBurner14. Whenever there is enough demand for wanting to play this side story, as I’m trying to showcase a specific metagame that hasn’t been experienced before, then I will release it to everyone. Until then, I rather keep this side story a low profile. Sorry for all the blunders made from this game.

There are some stuff I can share regarding my current progress on Spork Adventure. Elements 4 thru 7 are almost done, just needing to test two more battles. One is a Double Battle against Aurora and ICSW (with Shield Sylveon having Blizzard for RNG purposes) and the other is the Frost Spirit Glaceon. After that, I can compile data and initiate a private release once again to those recipients possibly tomorrow if I have done testing. The last element is going to contain areas that are tedious to go through since this is the final venue. More mapping, and maybe utilizing HM Strength and Flash for navigation. I don’t recall there’s any sort of Rock Climbing in the Spork Universe, but if it does, then it’ll be another obstacle to pass. I might try to pretend making Rock Climb by putting tiles that look like broken rocks and making events (which utilizes the ‘transfer player’ action just like what I did for Piplup and Chikorita).

And one last thing I want to share is a preview:

After Kelly watched the player acquire the 7th element...

‘Player actually have 7 elements now. So they’ll be after the Elegant Element.’ (Stands up after having a moment to look at clear skies) ‘Looks like I got some work to do.’ (Kelly then looks at the player’s cottage) ‘I’ll definitely miss this place, but I can always stop by there again. I really wanted to simply give the player my element, but the other seven spirits gave me all of their power to make the last venue as challenging as possible. Therefore, I have to carry on my responsibility, otherwise I will lose my position.’ (Kelly’s transparent wings are glowing) ‘Time to seize the wind.’

Kelly is more than just a spectator with a  happy-go-lucky personality, what secret does she have from the player?!”

  3. With Aerodactyl being in Sword & Shield’s DLC of The Crown Tundra, I was able to look at the moves it can learn in Smogon’s Gen VIII, and one thing that caught my eye was Dragon Dance. Yes, Aerodactyl can learn Dragon Dance, bolstering it’s already high Speed stat as well as improving its Physical attack even further. I’ve been using Aerodactyl several times in various AI opponents in Spork Adventure, but the problem that I have myself to deal with is trying to fit in Dragon Dance in those movesets.

For regular Aerodactyl, with possible abilities such as Rock Head and Pressure, here’s what I previously came up with (STABmons):

    -Head Smash

    -Brave Bird

    -Fire Fang

    -Accelerock

I definitely would keep Head Smash and Brave Bird as Rock Head prevents recoil damage and are both powerful STAB moves. Accelerock is there in case players try to use priority moves against a boosted Aerodactyl. Fire Fang might be the option to cut since the only remote use of putting Fire Fang on AI opponents is when you’re battling Aerodactyl under Harsh Sunlight. If it’s in any other weather, I would replace Fire Fang with Dragon Dance.

As for Mega Aerodactyl, it may keep the same moveset as regular Aerodactyl, and while both Head Smash and Brave Bird is further boosted by Tough Claws, the amount of recoil it takes is terrible. To give you an idea, if you OHKO Max HP invested Blissey (714 HP), Mega Aerodactyl will go down as well unless it has 358 or more HP. A Level 100 31 IV Aerodactyl has 301 HP, so you’ll have to invest 228 HP EVs simply to avoid being taken down by your own Head Smash. With Dragon Dance, you don’t need too much Speed investment, so you can dump the 252 EVs into HP. If Blissey has Rocky Helmet (unlikely), then Mega Aerodactyl is still going down when chip damage from Rocky Helmet is factored in after the recoil.

Risky moveset Prior to knowing DD was a thing:

    -Head Smash

    -Dragon Ascent

    -Accelerock

    -Fire Fang

    Without Head Smash (under sun)

    -Dragon Ascent

    -Accelerock

    -Fire Fang/Ice Fang/Thunder Fang/Crunch/Rock Slide (Doubles)

    -Dragon Dance

For other weather than Sun, Fire Fang can be replaced with maybe Rock Slide for Double Battles, Crunch, Ice Fang, and Thunder Fang for coverage. Drill Peck might be a safer Flying type move to use, but the power difference is noticeable. Again, this is the AI I’m talking about, so it may be a matter of time until the AI eventually uses a setup move. For actual players, we do have control over which moves to use.

Mega Aerodactyl is gonna compete with Mega Charizard X as it also has Tough Claws and Dragon Dance. The only thing it sets them apart is their dual typing. This is going to change some of my trainer rosters that I previously had using Aerodactyl. Be in the lookout for future edits.

  4. STABmon spotlight: Garchomp!

When it comes to AI trainer rosters, there were times where I wanted a certain to have a specific moveset, but it doesn’t have to be defined in a certain moveset as they can fulfill other roles. I’m going to share one example of a Pokémon under STABmons moveset:

    Setup Physical Attacker

    Garchomp (in single battles/double battles)

    -Dragon Dance

    -Dragon Hammer

    -Earthquake (Precipice Blades)

    -Stone Edge (Rock Slide)

    Item: Rocky Helmet

    Ability: Rough Skin

    Jolly nature

    252 Atk, 4 Def, 252 Spe

Lead (under Clear, Rainy, or Hail weather)

    Garchomp

    -Stealth Rock

    -Spikes

    -Earthquake/Precipice Blades

    -Stone Edge/Rock Slide

    Item: Rocky Helmet

    Ability: Rough Skin

    Jolly

    252 HP, 4 Atk, 252 Spe

    Lead (under Sunny Weather)

    Garchomp

    -Stealth Rock

    -Spikes

    -Earthquake/Precipice Blades

    -Fire Fang

    Item: Rocky Helmet

    Ability: Rough Skin

    Jolly

    252 HP, 4 Atk, 252 Spe

    Lead (under Sandstorm weather)

    Garchomp

    -Stealth Rock

    -Spikes

    -Earthquake/Precipice Blades

    -Double Team

    Item: Brightpowder

    Ability: Sand Veil

    Jolly

    252 HP, 4 Atk, 252 Spe

Those movesets are going to be used in certain circumstances on Spork Adventures. Some thought has been put on various Pokémon due to STABmons giving Pokémon a vast move pool of their same type. I will be putting more examples later down the road since there are some times where I’m away from the computer.

  5. Another status update from me. I am still spectating ScaldBurner14's Pokemon Spork Adventure series as he has made episode 17 as of today. In the meantime, I will still be as busy as ever cleaning up old content, and I still have maybe a couple things left to monitor.

While I'm still at it, I have a couple of things I want to share in terms of game mechanics regarding Pokemon, moves, and other miscellaneous stuff, so here goes!

-Slaking's ability changed from Truant to Huge Power! (That's to make not only said Pokemon viable, but also make them overpowered for this side story.)

-Regigigas's ability changed from Slow Start to Huge Power! (That's to make not only said Pokemon viable, but also make them overpowered for this side story.)

-Sableye's multiple abilities changed to only Wonder Guard! (This Pokemon was already good to begin with, but it can be made better with this ability as it really forces players to run some sort of counters to get past this Pokemon.)

-Spiritomb's multiple abilities changed to only Wonder Guard! (This Pokemon was already good to begin with, but it can be made better with this ability as it really forces players to run some sort of counters to get past this Pokemon.)

-Geomancy's PP changed from 10 to 1! (Actually benefits the opponent more than the player, as the opponent doesn't have to use that move again after it sets up and uses an attacking move rather than wasting a move.)

-Shell Smash's PP changed from 15 to 1! (Actually benefits the opponent more than the player, as the opponent doesn't have to use that move again after it sets up and uses an attacking move rather than wasting a move.)

-Fake Out's PP changed from 10 to 1! (Actually benefits the opponent, as the opponent doesn't have to use that move again after it used Fake Out and goes for a different attacking move rather than wasting a move.)

-Blizzard's freeze chance increased from 10% to 30%!!! (I realize that there isn't an attack that has a higher chance than 10% to freeze the opponent's Pokemon, so I chose Blizzard to do the job. While unreliable outside of Hail, it is still frustrating to deal with in Double Battles if it manages to land that hit AND freeze them. Double Freeze is unlikely but possible! If there's a Serene Grace user with Blizzard, even worse!)

-Added customized attacks: Brave Blade and Tempest Beam.

    non-battle related changes

-Past Tinder Village (the one with the temple missions) has been removed.

-Changed the blurb from the first page of this forum.

-Sylveon Card locations have been slightly changed due to making new areas (I might have to edit my notepad and go through each and every map).

-Couple map remodels and change in soundtracks

-Some trainer rosters have changed due to the advent of Gen VIII Pokemon.

I might add some reasons later on.

  6. As of this post, I will be locking this thread because I no longer have any motivation to finish this “Moonblast Only Run” series. Due to major changes that occurred in Spork 8, any and all such saves that I have will have major confusion as to what I already did (control switches). Ranging something like Emily still being at Virima hotel to being unable to exit the Pokémon League even after I already went to the Hall of Fame. It’s a huge mess from there.

Even though this series are gonna be discontinued, I could actually start my adventure again (which would be my 5th recording if I did) but this time I get to experience battling with and against Generation VIII Pokemon. That probably makes up for not owning a Nintendo Switch (which I still don’t have, I don’t have much time on consoles nowadays), let alone playing Sword & Shield. So the only twist to playing my fifth adventure is to only select Generation VIII Pokemon from Litwick’s selection room.

Sorry for any delay or outright putting some things aside, but there are some things that I don’t feel like going back to doing, and I hope you understand.

  7. Since the recent re-upload of Spork 8 was available last Sunday, I've taken the time to test out each and every functions that Debug Mode has to offer. However, there are some features that can crash the game (and consequently close the game).

    1. Switches: Don't Crash (I guess this is something to not be tampered with unless you have RPG Maker to view the events that involve those control switches.)

    2. Variables: Don't Crash (I guess this is something to not be tampered with unless you have RPG Maker to view the events that involve those variables.)

    3. Refresh Map: Don't Crash

    4. Warp to Map: Don't Crash (though you might be positioned in a way that make you stuck in certain areas).

    5. Heal Party: Don't Crash

    6. Add Item: Don't Crash

    7. Fill Bag: Don't Crash

    8. Empty Bag: Don't Crash

    9. Add Pokemon: Don't Crash

    10. Fill Storage Boxes: Will Crash the Game! (No specific reason why, but it happened a few seconds after I selected this)

    11. Clear Storage Boxes: Don't Crash (This will wipe out ALL of your Pokemon in the PC, so don't click this feature unless you know what you're doing!)

    12. Use PC: Don't Crash

    13. Set Player Character: Don't Crash

    14. Rename Player: Don't Crash

    15. Randomise Player ID: Don't Crash

    16. Change Player Outfit: Don't Crash

    17. Set Money: Don't Crash

    18. Set Coins: Don't Crash

    19. Set Badges: Don't Crash

    20. Give Demo Party: Don't Crash (However, the moment you select this option will override your current party, so you better put some Pokemon in your PC before you do that. Unfortunately, one of your Pokemon will be overwritten regardless. Do not save your game if it happens.)

    21. Toggle Running Shoes Ownership: Don't Crash

    22. Toggle Pokegear Ownership: Don't Crash

    23. Toggle Pokedex Ownership: Don't Crash

    24. Dex List Accessibility: Don't Crash

    25. Ready Phone Rematches: Don't Crash

    26. Manage Mystery Gift: Don't Crash

    27. Day Care Options: Don't Crash

    28. Quick Hatch: Don't Crash

    29. Roaming Pokemon Status: Don't Crash

    30. Advance Roaming: Don't Crash

    31. Set Encounters: Will Crash the Game! (Without Encounters.txt your edits won't go through. Regardless, pressing X to exit from editing that feature will crash the game, regardless if it was edited or not.)

    32. Set Metadata: Will Crash the Game! (Without Metadata.txt your edits won't go through. Regardless, pressing X to exit from editing that feature will crash the game, regardless if it was edited or not.)

    33. Set Terrain Tags: Don't Crash (Though editing some of the terrain tags might keep you from progressing the game. I.E. if you change the Waterfall tag, you might not be able to scale waterfalls.)

    34. Edit Trainer Types: Will Crash the Game! (Without Trainertypes.txt your edits won't go through. Regardless, pressing X to exit from editing that feature will crash the game, regardless if it was edited or not.)

    35. Reset Trainers: Don't Crash

    36. Test Wild Battle: Don't Crash

    37. Test Double Wild Battles: Don't Crash

    38. Test Trainer Battles: Don't Crash

    39. Test Double Trainer Battles: Don't Crash

    40. Relic Stone: Don't Crash

    41. Purity Chamber: Don't Crash

    42. Extract Text: Don't Crash

    43. Compile Text: Don't Crash

    44. Compile Data: Will Crash the Game! (Mostly because the entire PBS files aren't present)

    45. Map Connections: Don't Crash* (Even though trying to move around the map connections will cause the error message to pop up, it doesn't close the game)

    46. Animation Editor: Don't Crash

    47. Debug Console: Don't Crash

    48. Toggle Battle Logging: Don't Crash

Out of 48 features, 5 of them will crash and close the game. That is because certain files are missing, and it won't process your edits. For other features that don't crash your game, it may generate things that might be detrimental to your adventure. Now that you are armed with this information, you'll know what to do to not accidently close the game, undoing some of your progress.

(On another note, Rillaboom has Base 85 Speed, not 86...)

  8. Custom attacks

Since Pokemon Rejuvenation has already made and implemented several customized attacks mostly seen on their respective Gym Leaders, I figured I would make some for Forest Guardian as well. I may have already created some FakeMons, but I also wanted to make them further unique as well so that it fits the theme better. Anyways, here’s two attacks that I’ve made (and has been showcased on one of my videos and several other videos made by ScaldBurner14).

    -Brave Blade

    Type: Steel

    Category: Physical

    Power: 110

    Accuracy: 100

    PP: 10

Effects: 20% chance to raise Attack by one stage.

    Attack animation: Secret Sword

This attack name actually originated by a Pokémon card. Zacian-V (Sword & Shield 138/202, 195/202) has both the Intrepid Sword ability and the Brave Blade attack, so naturally it would work with Zacian, Cyberse Sylveon (both Decode Talker and Dark Templar), and Aegislash since they wield a sword. This attack will not be used someplace else even in STABmon (Same Attack Type Boost) mode. Zacian would be better off with this customized attack since there are no Dynamaxed or Gigantamaxed Pokemon to target, making Behemoth Blade have the same power as Sunsteel Strike.

    -Tempest Beam

    Type: Steel

    Category: Special

    Power: 110

    Accuracy: 100

    PP: 10

Effect: 20% chance to lower your opponent’s Special Defense by one stage.

    Attack Animation: Hyper Beam

Another Steel type custom move and is a special counterpart to Brave Blade. Though this attack doesn’t originate from anything I know of, except maybe Firewall Dragon Darkfluid using Neo Tempest. The Shield form of Sylveon, Empoleon, and Hydreigon Darkfluid are the only users of this move, and again, this attack won’t be used even under STABmon mode.

Those two attacks are already implemented based on uploaded episodes by ScaldBurner14. Currently he is in Tinder Mountain taking in the E4, so I wonder how he’s gonna handle this.

Note: I’ve haven’t made any custom attacks up until last week or two, and making them seems to be one step closer to learning other stuff in Essentials.

  9. Hi everyone, it’s been a while.

I have taken some time off from the forums so that I can have more time dealing with some IRL stuff as well as this project. I actually had a play tester (under the youtube username of ScaldBurner14) wanting to play my side story and he’s still testing it while I’m a spectator in his series. If you haven’t kept track of this series, he’s had uploaded nine episodes and is currently at Team Portal HQ at the moment. With the exception of episode 2 (which he tried setting up BGM and SE to 5/100, and sadly some of the BGM overpowered his voice), all of his recording only has his commentary. The adventure’s far from over, since the chapter ends with the 13th badge...and I recall he only has only four badges atm.

As for me, I’m still in the process of editing some dialogues and eventing since after the Shaymin Sanctuary, the eventing I previous had is now out of place. Some stuff won’t happen because I’ve deleted them, making the story progress grind to a halt. That, couple with some of the Gen VIII Pokemon appearing on some of the trainers (even major ones such as Delicia’s Appletun), and there won’t be a re-upload anytime soon on my part.

So that’s pretty much it on the small concise update. Just wanted to put something out there in case some of the are wondering what happened to this project.

  10. So, I had another YouTuber last night asking me insisting that he wanted to playtest Forest Guardian, and I said “Sure, go ahead. But I recommend you stop testing after the events in Shaymin’s Sanctuary.” And he said that this will be enough to keep him busy. So here’s ScaldBurner’s Adventure of Forest Guardian and he might occasionally locate errors and criticize the difficulty of trainers if he feels like.

While he’s testing some stuff, the link, unfortunately, has been removed...again due to major cleanup in various eventing that I have to fix couple with some Microsoft Windows update that I got a few weeks ago, it seem to undo some of the stuff I’ve made, which is pretty frustrating. That doesn’t deter me from working because I am determined to work through it.

  11. E10 Upload

    -Covers badges 11-13

-Added scavenger hunt of Sylveon Cards in a similar manner to Marbles in Spork 8 (locations may subject to change depending on further maps).

-Tullborn Sea just got remodeled to resemble Sonic Colors Aquarium Park. The floor layout is still the same, it’s just A change of aesthetics.
-Some minor AI roster change in terms of moves.

Do not save in places: Tinder Connections, Mt. Steam Crater, Power Plant, Tullborn Harbor (fatal error as this place no longer exists, replaced with Tullborn Terminal), Tinder Apex since some pillars appeared.

Stuff to deal with on next episode:

-Trainer Card (I forgot to list each level).

-Espeon and Umbreon’s Cynet Map like the previous ones.

-More and more themed trainer battles.

-Possible remodel in Mt. Steam Volcano to try and resemble Crisis City from Sonic 06/Generations (Outside 2 does have the lava sprite, I just gotta find it).

  12. So, when I’m not in the computer, for the past couple days, I’ve been compiling theme teams that may or may not be used in Forest Guardian.

Single: single battle (I might not type single every time)

Double: double battles that involves 7-12 Pokémon

    Here’s what’s already done for E10:

    Kanto Team (double)

    Johto Team (double)

    Hoenn Team (single)

Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon’s Team (single)

    Guardian of Ceolis (single)

    Dark type Team (single)

Theme team Sonic Lost World Zeti (single)

Theme team Pokémon with -king in its name. (Single)

    Dual Water/Ground Team (single)

    Dual Rock/Ground Team (single)

Pokémon that can learn Blaze Kick (single)

Other AI teams that might or might not be used E11 onwards:

    Youtuber shoutouts

-J-Awesome One’s Spork Team Multi Header Run

    -DemICE Rejuvenation mono Grass Team

    -Shofu’s Reborn Team

    -Hero Voltsy’s Spork Team

    -Leo’s Spork Nuzlocke Team

    -RedHunter’s Spork Team

    -SuperFffu’s Spork Team

    -Radical Cid’s Spork Team

-The Gamer’s Tree Co-op (double battle)

-Zonic the one Bunny boy Spork Team (single battle)

    -Trainer Jason Spork Team (single)

Other theme teams (more will be listed later):

    -Sinnoh in-game team

    -Unova in-game team

    -Kalos in-game team

    -Alola in-game team

-Sonic Colors Color Power Team (double)

-Team of Pokemon with Adaptability ability (single)

-Dirty RNG Team Sand Veil & Brightpowder (double)

-Dirty RNG Team Snow Cloak & Brightpowder (single)

    -Swift Swim teams (double)

    -Chlorophyll teams (double)

    -Sand Rush team (single)

    -Medieval Objects Team (single)

-Pokemon Conquest Warlords’ Pokemon with perfect link (48 Pokémon, possible gauntlet with four double battles consecutively).

    -Thick Fat ability Team
    -Skill Link ability Team

    -No Guard ability Team

    And much more!

That’s what you might be up against in future chapters. There could be more theme teams that I can think of. It’s a matter of when I’m actually going to do it. But I thought it’s be nice to let them know if I got other tricks on my sleeve when the adventures almost over.

  13. Or, alternatively if you still have the zipped Spork 8 folder, try extracting the entire folder.

But before you do that you delete the previous Spork 8 folder first, otherwise the screen will ask you if you want to replace 13,000+ files from that folder.

  14. After loading all 380 maps it should say:

”One or more fonts used in this game do not exist on the system.

The game will be played, but the look of the game’s text will not be optional.

To install the necessary fonts, copy the files in this game’s Fonts folder to the Fonts folder in control panel.”

Then you’ll be on the load save screen.

  15. Another 3 hour session (albeit not three hours straight. It was like the first hour followed by dinner and then two more hours) of adding and testing out trainers, and I’m actually almost done with them for the time being, needing to test only Flareon left. Add in a couple more dialogues and looking a bit more older content to see if I wanted to make it more detailed. And afterwards, E10 is done. I have not yet modify trainer roster to include Gen VIII Pokemon, so they’re still between Gen I to VII.

The trainer testing went faster than what I’ve expected, mostly because I already had them brainstormed in my notebook, so I didn’t have to look at the database too many times.

  16. It’s been a little over 3 weeks since the last reupload, but unfortunately for me, I have been on and off on this project due to IRL stuff such as working, procrastination (or other activities not related to Spork), and not having as much free time except during the night when I can spend around 2-3 hours a session in by bedroom if I’m still not tired. Even though that looks like a lot of time, it actually isn’t for one night when there’s eventing and testing to do. And I haven’t got to focus on polishing stuff such as map co-ordinates. It seems like there’s a lot on my plate.

For the next episode, it’s gonna cover three badges/elements that are close to each other, so it won’t be long to get each one. I also noticed that Shield Form Sylveon lacked any level up moves, so if it tries to learn some moves, it’ll be almost nonexistent (I think it has like Tackle only). I also have to make a shiny form of Shield Sylveon or otherwise an error might pop up when trying to evolve. Not that anyone has told me about this, but it’s a possibility. I already got around 50% dialogue done, and most of the trainers made are in my notebook, so I can easily type the trainers.txt without looking at Smogon or Serebii. I have to make sure I set the abilities properly by opening up Pokémon.txt.

I guess that’s what I have in mind for now. And I’m not creating another scoreboard because that doesn’t indicate how far I’m truly am while disregarding external failures that could halt progress in a flash.

  17. I have not tried using Android since I do not have one. I've heard that Joiplay does let users play games from RPG Maker. But unfortunately I won't be of much help there. Even the user, Ice Cream Sand Witch (ICSW), isn't used to that feature.

Again, apologies for not being able to troubleshoot this specific case.

(For a second, I thought I got an email, but apparently not. This is the public club. 😄 )

  18. When Gen VIII starters eventually releases, the first thing that comes to my mind is Grookey. I heard it’s hidden Ability is Grassy Surge? If so, having a Pokémon that always start the battle with Grassy Terrain seems just as awesome as Protean and/or Speed Boost. It kinda invalidates any and all such fields that is supposed to be set on. I think that effect isn’t permanent, though, it’ll probably wear off after 5 turns (8 turns if terrain extender is held).
