Oh wow. A ja tu myślałem że tu głównie Amerykanie, Brytyjczycy i inni anglojęzyczni. Fajnie trafić na swego na "obcym terenie"

Now I wonder how many will understand

There is more of us. I saw in your recent post that you are Polish and thought to myself "huh, another one" but someone did a post a long time ago where they asked who's from where, and they were also Polish. I'm also certain at least one of the older forum lurkers is Polish, so there are at least four. Probably more.

  2. Well, I'll just go out and say that I'm fully prepared. I have my favorite snacks, water and my computer nearby, and they're not going  anywhere.

I'm also planning to sacrifice sleep if this comes out at a bad hour, but who needs sleep when you have pure excitement flowing through your bloodstream.

Agreed. Maybe we should talk about our teams that we're gonna bring for the finale.

This is obviously subject to change since we don't know the actual E4 teams, but the one I'm currently planning to use is:

    - Blaziken

    - Naganadel

    - Rotom W

    - MGardevoir

    - Aegislash

    - Whimsicott

There's a very real chance that Heather will be fought on the Mountain terrain which is super exploitable against flying types

I admit I also thought that until with someone's help I realized that Tailwind activates Delta Stream... and she will most likely start with a Focus Sash, Gale Wings Talonflame just to have this setup for sure. Although Whimsicott can learn Taunt so with a Sash on it and a Rocky Helmet on something else/Brave Bird recoil it might still work

Also worth noting that flower garden boosts bug moves too,

...there may be a far simpler solution. Unless we get blocked field interactions like in Rejuvenation V13 Laura has to run either Water Sport or Rain to prevent her field from being set on fire. For the first again Prankster Taunt and you can go to town, but the second one's funnier. If she's running rain, then, unless this mechanic was changed... the field becomes a Rainbow Field once you click Sunny Day or bring in something with Drought. And ALL her field boosts disappear.

  5. A Gardevoir with Imprison, Hyper Voice, Dazzling Gleam and Trick Room/Psychic will likely be able to shut down most of El's moves(if he runs Trick Room) and at least a few of Anna's moves so i'm hoping that will work.

Also Whimsicott will be useful because it can run screen support and priority Nature Power(on El's field if you give it a Pixie Plate all the multipliers make the moves base power go to about 400)

Other than that i'm gonna be adapting based on what I see, but I think the Uber trio will be useful no matter the circumstances.

Since Looker briefly appears during one sidequest, maybe other characters from the main games will appear too. I'd like to see a battle against Cynthia in the post game. Her Garchomp, Lucario, and Gastrodon are all well suited to the Ash Beach field

I feel like it would be adding fuel to the potential fire with our favorite studio TM. Nothing prohibiting the fans, though.

  7. Hmmm I disagree that Heather will be a Double Battle, because having a team that's weak to Rock Slide, Icy Wind and Blizzard on a field that potentially boosts all of these is a horrible idea. Although now thinking about it, Tailwind activates Delta Stream, so maybe. But I'm not here to talk about that.

One option i don't see considered that often is Jynx. That propably wouldn't be too surprising, except it's the only (nonlegendary) Psychic type capable of using Aurora Veil, which is obviously amazing. I would replace that Whimsicott(which would be completely shut down by Taunt btw) with a Jynx with something like Aurora Veil, Psychic, Dazzling Gleam and let's say some good ice coverage (or Icy Wind if it learns it). Also Gothitelle is potentially perfect for setting up if it manages to trap someting it happens to wall, so i'd give it Nasty Plot. I also don't understand why rocks would cripple Jirachi, but Rapid Spin is overall decent( Swift is also worth considering for damge since it gets a 2x power boost). And that Victini fits Lin a bit more imo.

  8. Well I'm planning to use the cave since it boosts sound moves and MGardevoir's Hyper Voice is going to really hurt, that with Rock Slide for the fairy resists should be able to deal with her. But overall yeah her team being adjusted to cave has to happen since it would be somewhat easy to beat her without that.

  9. I think I'll go for extinguishing the field and then pretty much sweeping with MGardevoir's boosted Hyper Voice, and finishing stragglers with appropriate super-effective stab moves. Well, that's my strategy before seeing her team, i'll know whether that will be as effective as I think when E19 comes out. Charizard in this case is just asking for a potentially boosted Rock Slide or our new shineeEQ TM, (provided we'll be able to hit him of course)

Hate to break the bubble, but that definetly won't happen:

    (Black Hole Eclipse is a boosted Dark Pulse: 160 BP * 1,5 * 4 = 960 BP)

(this calcs are done purely to calculate that specific outcome, nothing more)

And since Arc-PULSE will have much higher base stats, plus PULSE2, I don't think it will OHKO without any boosts to Special Attack

Well crap, seems I'll have to get good RNG, assuming it will actually have Multitype, which it probably will.

But try NOT to do it when they're Dark-resistant (Dark, Fighting or Fairy type)

Otherwise... they might resist the attack. Just wait until they transform into right type

    Assuming Arc-PULSE will have Multitype

That might not apply with EVs but during my experiments Naganadel OHKOed a Dark-Arceus with a Black Hole Eclipse, and considering it's like 200 BP *6 I'm honestly not surprised. And the types rolled seemed to depend on RNG, so you can always try again.

I have an offensive baton pass team so I'm probably gonna try to get enough speed boosts to negate the decrease. I have a bunch of air balloons I never used so I can probably put them to use against Lin

Yeah, I purchased like 30 4 years ago in preparation XD, currently I'm just trying something else, because it might not be enough, and if I want to nuke Arceus with Black Hole Eclipse I'll need an item slot.

    Oh yeah, Trick Room...

I very rarely use this strategy - usually when someone else does it for me (like Radomus). I also think most of her team will be going to go around Speed reduction, so Trick Room will definetly counter it. The problem is that battle WILL be Singles, and there's no way to increase the duration of Room,

    We'll expirement on it,

The field itself extends it, and I guess that's something we disagree on, because i think it will be Doubles. If it's singles than all you need for Trick Room is a focus sash(or band and some patience)

  14. Hmmmm, her team will most likely go for full offense which means abusing and/or avoiding the field's speed cut. This makes Trick Room very effective, especially since New World extends it to 8 turns. That is of course if you can get through her bulk in the first place, but that's not something I was able to check with my experimental team for her, since I don't know how to add EVs.

My team is mostly offensive, but Whimsicotts Prankster Tailwind did the trick for speed control, and I may try something with screens and Gardevoir. I don't think I'll go for field removal unless we'll be able to adapt our teams specifically for Lin, because it also deals with a hypothetical E4 decently, and I'm scared of Laura and El.
