Hi! I was wondering, are you going to update this tool, now that Reborn is complete? Maybe after 19.5.0 is out? No pressure tho! I'm sure I could manage without it/using the old version, but it would be very convenient if you do. Good luck, regardless of what you decide!

You can only do that if you have the SWM modpack, I think.

Anyone know what the "Video2" audio is for lmfao? I was going through the soundtrack and it made me laugh.
It's an easter egg for interacting with a normally unreachable Pokemon NPC, if I remember correctly
PS: I recommend saving before trying it

You need a Mining Kit and Blast Powder to clear the mining rocks (the glowy "too sturdy to break or move" ones) to reach some places and get some stuff.
The area across the ledge is inaccessible (and not properly coded in, i.e. even if you get there somehow, it's useless, as there's nothing of interest here). It would probably get added in future versions.

Do the Missing Children quest (can be picked up in the Help Center of the Central Building once it's open after a certain point in the story), it gives you access to the needed location.

Did they make Snivy and Scorbunny available in v13.5? Used to be they were also exclusively available as starters.
Scorbunny is given to you when you complete Maman's quest; Snivy can be caught in the wild in Pyramid Grounds.

The best starter is Torchic, because it's the only starter that, as of now, can't be caught elsewhere later. And it's busted, too.
Edit: nevermind, just saw that you don't want to pick Torchic. Then I recommend Scorbunny.

Clear all the controller input bindings and use Joytokey instead. That's what worked for me.

Hi tnks for your reply, can u please tell me how can I teach Yawn on Meowsti M ?
You would have to either breed for it (compatible parents that learn Yawn can be found here)
Or, if I remember correctly, one of the main modpacks for Reborn (either SWM or AddOpt, forgot which one) has a mod that lets you teach a mon its egg moves with move relearner

Something I've personally really liked doing with a similar team (the Meowstic-M + Speed Boost Blaziken combo) is putting up screens if the situation allows it and using Yawn, switching into Blaziken and setting up with Swords Dance while Speed Boost is also upping speed. So consider swapping Misty Terrain with Yawn?

I don't think that there are any Terastallization mods for Reborn/Rejuvenation/Desolation
But there might be some for Essentials, so check Relic Castle, maybe?
-
If I remember correctly, Desolation doesn't use PBS files, it handles stuff differently. I think most of the relevant files are in the Scripts folder and the Deso (or Desolation) folder that's inside the scripts folder.
So instead of editing PBS files and then compiling, you just change the relevant scripts straight away and don't need to compile.
I might be wrong, but that's what worked for me and how I understood it.

If you use the unreal time password and can change the time, you can speed up the process. That's what I did.

Those look neat! The only issue I see is that shiny dragonite's back sprite has some gray lines that clash with the bright red. I'd advise to make it less grey and more dark wine red/reddish brown or smth like that. Oh, and the non-mega sceptile's wrist leaf blade thingies on the back sprite have some outer lines that seem too light? Try to adjust them so that they're darker/contrast more with the rest of the grays. Also, just in case you don't know, try to look into hue shifting, it's helped me improve a lot ever since I started trying to do sprites. Good luck!

I Know This Probably Wont Get seen but i need help with trying to make an ability like blaze that fuctions for dragon and fairy type moves but i cant figure it out plz help.
I've had trouble with making abilities at first too, so far it seems that all (or almost all) functionality of abilities is done in the scripts that start with "PokeBattle", just go through all of them and search for abilities that work similarly (like Blaze, which you mentioned), and then copy, paste and edit
I wish I could've explained it better, but other than that you just have to understand or at least guess (which I am doing ahah) what the code means and which part does what, etc., which I can't really explain to you (since I don't understand it myself and just do what I found out through trial and error)
Anyway, hope that helps!

Also a thing that somewhat helped me with chases (I suck at them too ;-;) is debug mode
Specifically, the ability to walk through walls when pressing Ctrl
So that's an option too, just keep in mind that if you get any errors and stuff like that when using debug, don't go to the devs/troubleshooting with it
And in general try to be careful with it
Good luck!

As far as I know, there's gonna be an option to skip chases in the next update (this was mentioned here)

Some other great options are Froakie and Popplio. Greninja is a pretty solid mon with it's Protean ability (for which you can easily soft-reset), and as far as I remember, it has a decent level up movepool. And Primarina learns a lot of useful moves via level up and its Water/Fairy typing is one of the best. Both of those options seem not that good since the first two Gyms are Electric and Grass, but for that you can get some other good early-game mons, and both Greninja and Primarina are good for mid- and late-game, but not overwhelmingly so.
Also! Keep in mind that you don't have to get a traditional starter, because you can get Eevee, Alolan Vulpix, or Porygon if you enter the eeveepls, vulpixpls or monowoke passwords respectively.

As far as I know it seems easy early-game because the devs wanted to make the difficulty increase more gradual so that the learning curve is more smooth and forgiving, let me assure you that it's gonna get much harder with time though.
If it's still not hard enough for you, you can use some passwords from here:

Well, there are more sprites to do, that I know for sure, can't remember how many exactly though; another thing is, there would be spoilers in them, keep that in mind
And also, the legacy sprites would be reintroduced as an option in the next update (this meaning they're cleaned up without changing their design too much and missing sprites are added; at least this is what I gathered from the devblog post)
Here's the post in which this is mentioned:

It's supposed to be this way, everything will return to normal at some point during/after the quest
-
So I thought of some stuff that can be affected too (I was focused on signature abilities in particular), here are my ideas, some of them are debatable and I didn't think of balance though
Tangling Hair - "Teachers don't approve! <Pokemon> is penalised for violating dress code!"; opposing Pokemon may become infatuated ("Rebellion is cool! <Pokemon> has earned fans!"), dunno what the penalty should be
Poison Heal - Pokemon recovers some HP (dunno how much) when hit by Taunt or Torment
Stench - Effect similar to that of Rage Powder/Pokemon is forced to switch out once it's hit ("Ew, <Pokemon> stinks! Everyone wants to be rid of it!")
Truant - Now, you'd expect a debuff, but it may actually be the opposite, like how slackers sometimes just get away with everything, dunno what kind of buff tho
Normalize - Some kind of buff as the Pokemon tries to blend in with "the cool kids" and be "normal"
Stall - "<Pokemon> tries to stall the teacher till the bell rings!", still not sure what that would do
Toxic Boost - Attack up one stage when hit by Taunt or Torment
Colour Change - Same as Normalize, or at least similar to it
Battery - Electric types drain this Pokemon's HP, similar to leech seed, and the Pokemon gets benefits in return (or there's a condition for getting benefits, or simply a set chance), benefits can include boosting a random stat, restoring HP or healing a status
Edit: Also, Stance Change can have an effect similar to that of Normalize/Colour Change, as the Pokemon "changes its stance" on things to fit in; this way Aegislash also can be a decent counter to this field

Reborn Romance
in Reborn City
Posted
Oooff, I've been here since 2017.... And tbh, I was kiiiindaa too young for this game at the time. Buuuuuttt,,, all the mature stuff just flew over my head, thanks to my 13-year-old self's innocence and to the fact that I didn't know English well at the time and basically learned as I went along. (Also yeah! Reborn is the main reason why I even know English as well as I do! And now I'm a linguistics major at uni, and I'm gonna be a translator/editor!! Crazy, right?)
Also whoops. Cal/Victoria flew outta the window. No spoilers tho. And Taka and Luna are more like friends; if anything, Taka has more chemistry with Ace and MC. Luna seems more aro/ace or demi. Cain isn't ready for romance, despite his flirty personality, and Charlotte doesn't really give a damn about this whole dating stuff.
