I encountered a problem while trying to start the quest in which Maxwell disbands Team Magma. I don't seem to have given anyone their application yet (all 4 of the members are standing where they are supposed to stand), but still Maxwell isn't standing down on 7th street as he is supposed to. However, when I start the quest by giving any of the members their application, Maxwell appears on 7th street, but then I cannot seem to finish the task; in the end one is still "missing", because after I was able to talk to Maxwell, only 3/4 members get their application...

Change your options (you should be able to get to it) max backup number to 100, right now is set to 1.
So no wonder you can't load a backup save.

Then search for saved games > Reborn folder > open downloaded files > search for your Reborn save > drag save in the Reborn folder, > when game ask you to replace click yes.
Now you can try run the game to see if it works.

The issue was: you should talk to Archer first, and later to the gang members.

I complete Crustle puzzle for you, not one of them but two were missed.
I will suggest you to not using Teleport too much - especially when you are in the middle of the puzzle.
Update your game to official release, if you haven't done that already.

I also draged it in saved games, but nothing worked.
Everything is okay with your save file (at least for me).
Only little issue I see it's: none of your pokemons have Rock Climb, but you have this move in TM/HM pocket.

I actually talked to that person before, everytime without a problem, so it's weird it bugged this time (I think because my laptop was running a lot at that moment...)

I didn't downloaded your save file again, but I think you should be able to come back for Espeon and move this block with his psychic powers.

Hm.. How about just restarting game with F12? If you saved again after losing the battle, just try using backup?
