[Where do I go next? [REJUVENATION]]

Dumb question but, how does the patch even activate? I already have it downloaded, so do I just need to play the game regularly and the patch will automatically start working, or do I need to set some sort of confirmation?

Because I'm in Crawli's gym and the Ariados still won't come back.

Unfortunately, I'm STILL in Crawli's gym. I'm on the second puzzle and can't seem to get it right. I've already used the warp pad and the Ariados won't come back anymore, I've already installed the newest patch but so far they still haven't come back. Is there something specific I need to click or something, patch-wise? 
It's been two days please end my misery.

@DerxwnaKapsyla I was able to replicate that one log glitch you said you had trouble replicating. It happens when you push the log from the left side. It doesn't happen from the right side. 

It's possible you surfed around the event tiles. Try walking back. 

I didn't even see that there was a new patch. 
Downloading it right now and is being currently extracted. 

Dumb question This patch currently fixes some of the bugs that are in green in your first post, right?

Thing is, I've used the warp thing b/c of my bum self not being able to figure it out. 
The Ariados aren't there from the previous places so I only have one Ariados. Can't seem to find the other ones since they fled. 
Do you know where they are if they fled and you've already used the warp tile I hope not multiple times like me

Crawli's gym is just making me furious at this point. So um, what am I suppose to do?

I don't know how exactly it happened, but pushing that log made the sprite go weird, and I was able to just walk on it from where I'm standing and hop between the cliffs. I'm pretty sure this is not the intended method, and if I knew how to recreate it I would mention it. If I figure it out for the video, it'll be there.

Okay so I'm replaying and am currently in Crawli's gym. There's a thing going on with the logs and it's just being a pain in the butt. I've already tried closing and then opening the game and unfortunately, that didn't help.

 

I can't really demonstrate much with a picture so I made a video instead. 

The first time, the log disappears (hence why I soft reset). The second time, the log is just there in another log.
