Totally agree with Commander on this one. No need to rush Caz , as much as Desolation is one of my fav fangames and i want it to be updated as soon as possible aswell. The fact that he showed up not so long ago is already a very good start.

@maor80 If i remember correctly , you can have mightyena mega stone at the end of this episode , so yeah you should keep it imo.
As for starters , thoses you mentionned are all corrects , maybe mudkip because it will help you especially in first and 4th gym leader

The project isn't abandonned at all , just Caz who is almost never active on the forum , and he is working alone on the project and is very busy irl.

On Celia City , you need to do a lot of battles in the underground fight club against trainers and i think you need to beat 5 boss ( gym leaders , Amelia ) before obtain a deino eggs , as i remember.
