You can try resetting it with the swm mod which also allows you to choose specific weather sometimes time travel breaks games weather

Save is corrupted is some way, i recommend trying a fresh install of reborn before trying to load a back up tho
@Zegius should be good now, the variables for next episode content got triggered somehow

sounds like the officer glitch messed up the corey event, u might have to revert to before the glitched officer and and either see if u can get that naturally to occur or try and so it after Corey

Ps this isn't a rom, roms use existing game data (like Ruby or blue or Emerald) and change it, this game was built from ground up -

So just started the squirtle quest, it was raining and everything was fine. It wasn't at the fountain at first but then I read in a different topic it had to be clear weather for it to appear at the fountain. So I went back into the cave, changed the date til I got clear weather, went back outside and it was there. I saved, fought the squirtle, caught it and got pretty meh IVs and a bad nature, so I reset my game (via f12) and after I load back into the game the squirtle is gone.
I tried changing the weather back to rain and from rain back to clear, I did the same with earlier auto saves but nothing worked. And I couldn't find any other topics with the same issue.

So was the save before you caught it or no? also walk in and out of the cave to reset things cause of change of weather though mods it sometimes doesn't swap events properly

no there's a file u can move or copy with them in it

did u try redownloading and extracting reborn at all? usually that is a corrupt file but sometimes redownloading and extracting again can help
