Hello Reborn folks!

I just wanted to let you know that I'm doing well. I hope you feel the same too. This has to be said, there used to be a period during which I was accepting the fact that growing up was like killing a part of our former selves. Like facing obstacles you can't avoid unless you sacrifice something you used to be attached to in the past but that you are now ashamed of or that you consider as futile or meaningless over time. This must still be partly true, but at that time, I literally felt like I had to clean myself up entirely out of self-denigration, even if it meant to blindly get rid off what I used to be proud of long ago for the sake of a fresh start. Yet, without exactly knowing why, I'm enjoying simple things more and more easily these last few weeks. Meeting new people, spending time with my grandparents, pampering my niece, hiking, sharing my passion for spriting, music and coding with curious spirits who are not familiar with these areas... It's giving me the impression to take charge of my life better than I did before. This also made me want to show you something positive that I have worked on with my cousin. For those whose life can be harsh sometimes and those who tend to feel lost in a world they don't understand, I wish you to find a reason to move forward, focus on stuff you like and keep contact with your relatives. That's what in my opinion forge a happy person proud of its values. And allow me to get you one last important thing straight: don't ever have in mind that because some people told you once you are pathetic or act pathetically, thus you are pathetic to the rest of the world and for the rest of your life. We're not good or ugly as a person when they tell us, but when we know it.

May your days be bright and keep your mind straight!

Hey everyone, I guess it's been quite awhile. 

I don't really have a good excuse why I haven't at least logged in to let everyone know I was alright with Covid having been with up for at least a year and half. I'm honestly sorry about that.

I'm not really sure if I'll be on that much but I think I'll at least try now that I'm finally getting the awkward return out of the way. I've typed this quite a few different ways before, but I think just typing it quickly before I overthink and talk myself out again might be for the best. Thank you for messaging me @Gheist 

While a part of leaving had to do with me distancing myself with SwSh discourse while it was still fresh (and much of Pokemon for a bit), I did have some real life stuff to deal with. By the time everything was settled down, it felt a bit awkward to just come back.....so I procrastinated like usual and then kept at it. Not sure if I'll fully return, but I'll try to at least pop in more often.

Again, sorry if I genuinely worried anyone.

Still haven't finished Rejuvenation 13, despite starting it months ago. Pupppet Dance Performance SOD's new Extended mod took my attention there.

Hi people! Does anybody remember the time when I shared a cute video about a growing fox which was saved by humans? Don't get fooled by this record anymore, it was fake. Four months ago, I reported two videos that were available on a channel called "Rescue Animals". The way they proceeded consisted in putting animals in danger deliberately or hide them in detritus in the first place, then they started to record the part when they pretended to spot the poor things in distress and "rescued" them. Plus, to better tenderize the heart of the viewers, they used touching music and split the videos in several parts to expose more easily the difference after and before their "heroic lifesaving". What hit me was the abnormally high number of like mentions for all the comments on each of their videos. It was as if there wasn't one single supportive comment that didn't receive at least 500 likes, so I assumed they were using bots to promote their channels and embellish their reputation. Unfortunately for them, they came upon someone who was way smarter than them and all of their channel is now deleted. I feel so naive now when I realize that I once loved what they did with the fox and how I cried watching this little guy "recovering". In fact, I tend to feel like Truman from The Truman Show. What you see is not necessarily the truth, the stage director is a puppet master who likes playing with your emotions and being humane means nothing and everything at the same time.

Be careful with what you see on the Internet, people can rig everything they want to get recognition and your respect! Don't fall into their traps!

Soooo for those who know me, they know that I used to do some story runs on here. They also know I'm like the kind of restarting them or quitting them. Well... I'm about to add 1 more to it. And this is prob gonna shock some people. So the story revolving around me will be the 1 that gets canceled. I actually have been trying to come up with the next episode for a while now and it's just not pleasing me. So... it's done. But I do plan on reviving James & Bonnie sometime in the somewhat near future.

Yo. How is it that it's been a year (almost 2 I think?) since E18 of Reborn came out & I have YET to spoil myself of that whole episode? I'm shocked with myself.

Hello Lady Taria here! And I have some updates finally - about my Reborn fanfiction and username change.

At this point, I think I'm just stupid. So I have this file somehow full of corrupt data that used to contain my chapter, right? 

So, I overwrite the garbage incomprehensible data and start re-writing the chapter in this very file. Saving it several times, every couple of sentences. Perfect, right? Nothing can go wrong?  

Well, turns out that the file was so broken that even saving the file with new data in it ended up corrupting that data.  

What a shocking twist absolutely anybody could have predicted. 

(sigh)

At least, little was lost this time. I made sure to delete that file and make a new one, and I ascertained that the save worked. 

And tomorrow, I'll start again. 

Hopefully I won’t merely fail better. 
 

On a happier note, there are 40/65 legendaries done and Rejuv is 97 percent on dev blog. I know these figures are more like guidelines, but still – progress is helpful to see when one is lagging! 

So as many of you might know, back in the past, I tried doing a Pokemon Full Moon playthrough. The 1st 1 got cancelled cause I kind of got burnt out with it. The 2nd playthrough got cancelled because the game kept crashing almost anytime any of my Pokemon would evolve. I just checked their FB to see if any updates had been released and it seems that E11 is up. Last time I played was E10. So... hopefully the evolution bug is fixed. After I get done playing Pokemon Castaway (spoilers to my next Pokemon LP which will be uploaded sometime this week) I will attempt to restart my Pokemon Full Moon let's play. I hope everything goes smooth because I honestly love that game. Sure a lot of things don't make sense sometimes but it's definitely a game that is worth checking out.

I'm not sure if anyone will read this, but here goes.

I feel like I owe this game, this forum, and mostly @Amethyst the biggest thanks I could ever give. 

Before I found this game my interesst in fan games was absolutely 0, my love for Pokémon was a lot more limited due to having few people to talk to about it, and due to being an introferted 15/16 year old it really helped me break through a big part of my shell. I know I am nowhere near as active as I have been, but know that I won't truly leave these forums untill Ame herself either shuts them down or bans me from them. 

But with all that said, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone whom I have interacted with on these forums. You may always send me a DM if you wish to talk (though I can't promise I'll reply that quickly)
