Yes. The difference between them though is that Midoriya doesn’t rant like a baby everytime things go wrong. It’s annoying to watch sometimes and ruins his antagonist persona for me. Same, I’m still here for his growth spurt.

he has enough potential. Though he might wanna rethink some goals. his big first goal is killing All Might, the one who nearly killed his teacher and the strongest hero on the planet. Good luck with that buddy

Eh for the most part it wasn't too bad for me. I do remember getting pretty rolled over by clay for a while because of my team at that point, but other than that I don't think I got too stuck. and I was probably a fair bit worse at the game than I am now.

Amethyst too, probably! Since the Gym's theme is a version of Sky Tower's theme on steroid and Rhodochrine Jungle's soundtrack is a remix of Primal Dialga's theme, maybe the same could be said of her ^^

Wow. Judging from your guys' experiences, I really missed out a lot on this series huh. I didn't fully appreciate these games as much as I did when I was a child, this time will be different I suppose.

Yeah, I'll admit, they're actually kinda cute if you give it a chance, but it just feels off. The original was an epic, action packed film, I just can't see all the iconic scenes happening in this art style.

I do agree that the traditional 2D would be better but I like this new approach also. They used Battle Revolution’s models I think which is pretty intriguing. I was a big no no no when the first screenshots came out but maybe it’ll turn out great. We will see!

Kanto was in the DS era, through HG/SS.  Not the full experience, but still don't know if we need another remake of it yet.  They recently released the originals in that new form (whatever it was called) that could trade to S/M.

kanto wasnt the focus of hgss, though. I moreso meant the focus region of a game.

considering they released gen 1 on the virtual console it seems kinda worthless to already bring out a new remake as well -.-

If they indeed make changes to the story and character development, then it might be worthwhile to give it a second chance. The final version was just really rushed because of the lack of motivation.

@SilverAngelus Experiencing it for the first time will be much better in v 1.3 sol so good thing you waited  might be fate that held you back.

@Maqqy I should've been more specific, my apologies to you Maqqy. I've played it before, and do have a current save file but it's still early in the story and I haven't played in awhile. I meant to revisit, but I kept putting it off. :3

@Wolfox Have you informed them about the "features" that need to be fixed?

I haven't, but I'm quite sure others have. 

The main story doesn't have much need for TMx or catching Pokemon so far. Literally only thing I caught so far is a Skarmory which I think is in the previous episode. I dunno. I haven't encountered a bug other than AI so far as well. Pretty well made episode I'm not expecting a bugfix version for at least a month. Though we will see.

I started a little bit of V12 up until zone zero cause I am impatient and couldn’t resist and so far yeah I haven’t run into any bugs. There might be ones in early game but flora jan and co. did a good job with testing! Best one so far I think.

I’ll still wait for a little bit more. It’s just that battle stat display is good to have. Plus it’s aesthetically pleasing in game battle.

I don't think you have much to worry about bugs. Only if you have Pokemon that are weak to bug types.

I've played through the entire episode and didn't encounter any bugs that hindered my play!

I hope they keep it up till november because Pokemon has a history of having the game datamined near the day of release.

So they ask in the secret Pokemon Club if the members wanted to see the starters' evolutions revealed or not (back in early October, iirc), and a majority said yes, but they still haven't released at least the second evolutions yet.

@Zander Both are very different but I see/hear that tiny similarity. Nevertheless both are equally high quality and are fitting themes for their respective leaders. Frontier brain themes just has that special place in my heart.

The Lake themes and Lake Trio themes were the unsung gen 4 heroes. Mount Coronet could be amazing if done well. 

Many of the gen 4 route themes were spectacular too. 205, 209, 216... Lots of potential

That was mine for a while, then the Mt.Pyre remix got added in and took the spot.

And while gen 5 has somes " ugly " mons , it has probably the best ones aswell : zoroark or haxorus for example

I mean, a Haunted Chandelier with Purple fire. many a "bad design" rant can be invalidated simply by that IMO

@DreamblitzX Agreed. Gen 5 definitely lacks in some places and is nowhere perfect. Truthfully, some generations like Gen 4 did things way better than Gen 5 in terms of character and plot. Gen 5’s authenticity, unique themes and a change in Pokemon gaming elements just really stood out for me so maybe that is why I considered it to be the best.

Haters gonna hate no matter what. Gav & Co put a lot of amazing work at this game and they should appreciate it, but instead of having fun creators received a lot of hate. 

Btw, is not a first game with third character gender, so I personally don't see the problem.. 

Apparently even Jan recieved a lot of hate in his emails too because of Rejuvenation and I’m willing to think that it’s the same for all fan game creators. I also read that some threatened to file a C&D to Nintendo like truth to be told, these 10 year olds needs to stop using the internet and go to school.

You know I would have really loved USUM if SM didn’t exist. These are the two specific things that made me not want to remember it at all: 

1. Lake of the Moone - so many things could have been done with this area, certainly for an alternate universe. Instead we get absolutely nothing.
2. Ryuki - wasted character. They gave no background to him whatsoever. 

True, those are two pretty big holes that are left unfilled 

Ehh I feel those two things alone aren't major enough to condemn the whole game , which did improve over SM  in other areas. Ryuki exists simply so there could be a dragon specialist. And he does have background, just not a very deep one.

as for lake of the moon it was pretty underutilized., I agree.
