Boom.
Spoiler

Does anyone know any good DS games?
-
So, I bought a PS4 specifically for Final Fantasy 7 Remake. What are some games people can recommend to me, besides KH3, which I am holding off on buying until there is more to it.

Few hours left till Pokemon direct which is apparently 20 mins. That’s so long okay what are they gonna announce? Um.
It’s the first time in a while that I’m not excited for a direct. Not really expecting anything from GF anymore.

Keta's Fake Out fight is kicking my ass.
How can his actual battle be any worse than this? He already 1 or 2 shots my team
-
I feel like that this is a very stupid question but I want to play Pokemon desolation and I cant find a way to download it to play it? How blind am I right now?
-
You know, I can really forgive GF for all the misgivings in Pokemon Sw/Sh if (and I hope) they make the games more challenging. USUM was a little bit hard for the most part with the totem battles, so I’m kind of optimistic. I just missed the difficulty that Gen 1 and 2 gave to me to be honest. Hard mode, please exist.

Y'all were right about Charlotte being ridiculously hard, I ended up over-leveling my pokemon so that they could just tank the hits and relying solely on faith that they'd obey enough of my orders to win, surprisingly my Whiscash was the OG for the battle and obeyed nearly every order and won it for me. Despite the Pokemon being 10+ levels higher than the cap, she still knocked out most of my Pokemon. That's insane. Even the one that I tried to cheese it with by taking it to level 100 (took forever, by the way.), although I basically just used that one as a stand-in to use healing items instead of attacking.
Like, I'm honestly baffled as to how anyone can beat her normally with the pokemon at the level cap. Did I do something wrong? Is it because I don't understand how EVs and IVs work? I literally couldn't knock out even three of her pokemon before my entire team was wiped out. I noticed that with the pokemon I've used since I got the level mods, on the EV/IV tab they all have like, 0-5 out of whatever number for each stat. I assume that's bad? I assume the level mod is what destroyed that? I don't know what it means though and I don't know how to make it go up without stat boosting items and I'm really worried I've ruined my ability to complete the game without having to cheese it like I was forced to with Charlotte. -

https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Nature#List_of_Natures
Here's what each of the Natures does. For capturing Pokémon just remember that a red stat means it's boosted and blue means it's lowered.
For Serperior you'll want a Nature that boosts either Speed or Special Attack. I'd recommend Speed since Contrary Leaf Storm should boost SpAtk enough after just one use. Usually you'd pick Attack as the lowered stat, but with Reborn limiting what moves you can get I'd actually recommend one of the Defense stats to be lowered, at least until you can get Dragon Pulse. That way Leaf Blade is still a valid option if you can't or don't want to use Leaf storm and Hidden Power doesn't cut it.
tl;dr I'd recommend Mild (+SpAtk/-Def) or Rash (+SpAtk/-SpDef) for now and Modest (+SpAtk/-Atk) once you can get Dragon Pulse on it.
Absol has kinda mediocre Speed so I'd focus on maxing that; it really wants to outspeed as many enemies as it can since its Defenses are so weak. Special Attack is its least useful stat so that one can be lowered safely. => Jolly Nature
Stats are instantly adjusted whenever your Pokémon earns EV.
EV and IV are technically secret mechanics so for the longest time they've only ever been at most alluded to in the games. So yeah, they definitely didn't teach that. XY was the first time in the games checking and training EV became easily accessible thanks to Super Training.

Pokemon gain 1-3 EV any time they gain experience from a battle. What stat these EV are for depends on the species of the opponent's Pokémon; a Grimer for instance gives 1 EV in HP while a Woobat gives 1 EV in Speed. A Pokémon that gets into a lot of fights (such as one that you've been using since the beginning of the game) will have a lot of EV while one that you power-leveled in a short time will have significantly less.
Do note that Pokémon only get EV from battle exp (well, and special items, namely Vitamins and feathers), but not from other means of levelling such as Rare Candies and the Day Care.
As for your Absol in XY it's less that you're doing anything wrong with this one, it's just that enemies in Reborn are on a completeley different level. In the official games most trainers' Pokémon have 0 IV and EV, meaning their stats are the absolute lowest they can be. Meanwhile your Pokémon still have whatever random IV they were generated with and the EV they collected, making them significantly stronger than what you'd encounter throughout the main course of the games. It's mainly in facilities like the Battle Frontier etc that opponents actually use Pokémon at their highest potential which is why players who never looked into these things tend to get bodied in those.
The absol in your screenshot evidently has been in very few battles, which is why it has barely any EV.
Your Serperios "looks" physical because of its Nature and Ability. You see how in its status screen "Attack" is written in red and "Sp.Atk" is blue? That means it has a Nature that boosts Attack and lowers Special Attack. Special-based Serperiors also use Contrary as their Ability as that allows them to reverse the stat-lowering effect of Leaf Storm and become ungodly nukes.

Rare footage of Luna sweeping someone:
SpoilerIt's honestly kinda funny how much of a pain she's being for my Mono-Psychicc run after Bennet just keeled over and died with little to no effort. Wasn't he supposed to be the difficult one?

I have spent my day well

Unown E, Unown I, Unown ? and Unown T are shiny
Unown F threw an F you in my face and turned out to be the best a playing hide and seek. He joined the box last.
Now for those that took a good look (or double checked) you may have noticed that there seem to be two Unown ! at the bottom there no?
Yeah about that....

That's the shiny Unown ? that I found... but it's sprite seems to be that of the Unown ! (I kept a normal Unown ? there as well for comparison)
Sooooo, I went to look through the bug bin and I couldn't find a topic on this so far, so then I went through Ame's 'Got a bug, start here' thing (this one)
and if I understand correctly I should make a post for Miscellaneous Error... but I can't click Miscellaneous Error or find it anywhere else ^^;
Am I just blind? Does anyone know where to report small bugs without messing up all your pretty forums? I don't want to post this somewhere it shouldn't be

So, why do people on the internet feel the need to make lewd art of characters in Anime and Video Games?
Is it really that important over trying to be the computer Leonardo Da Vinci?

three houses is probably one of my favorite games ever
and i'm still only halfway through my first playthrough
-
I felt pretty ambivalent about the game before release but I got quite; split routes had been done twice before in the series and neither one made me feel particularly hopeful about it this time. I'm not even halfway through by now but I already see myself replaying the game to get the other routes; it feels like this game does a lot of things specifically to fix complains people had about Fates.
Only thing I feel they kinda dropped the ball on are the classes; the highest tier classes have a lot of awkward requirements or abrupt end points. Also gender-locked classes just should not exist anymore.

It's weird how whenever I have colds, it isn't the tiredness, runny nose or headaches that bother me but it's always the sore throats.
Like let me speak without pain

how much of an outrage would it create if Nintendo didn't confirm a new region today and just went "Yeah, new Ranger and Mystery Dungeon game coming for the switch, and the GBA games coming to the 3ds eshop"

Hey guys! I know I keep asking for help, but this one's got me particularly stumped.
Noel's Clefable -- heck, even his Cinccino -- are quite frustrating.
TEAM:
Hgd - "Higgledy" - Musharna - Synchronize - TwistedSpoon - Future Sight - Calm Mind - Psychic - Charge Beam
Sligma - "Sligma" - Magcargo - Magma Armor - Quick Claw - Flamethrower - Infestation / Nature Power - Ancient Power - Clear Smog
LesbianHEART - "Les" - Meowstic-M - Keen Eye - Metronome - Psychic - Charge Beam - Disarming Voice - Fake Out
Linus - "Linus" - Liepard - Unburden - Lax Incense - Snatch - Sucker Punch - Play Rough - Shadow Claw
Ghily - "Gilly" - Arcanine - Justified - Expert Belt - Close Combat - ExtremeSpeed - Flamethrower - Retaliate
LAST SLOT TO BE DETERMINED?? I've been toying with the idea of Charizard, Fire/Flying Oricorio,
The Pokemon I am most likely to train / have trained are in my signature. Not listed, however, is a Fire/Flying Oricorio that could prove useful if anyone has any tips?
Usually, I take out Porygon-Z with Higgledy (Musharna). Unless the RNG decides to be annoying and add a status along with Tri-Attack, Higgledy manages to to take Porygon-Z out with two (or, rarely, three) uses of Psychic (boosted by the TwistedSpoon).
Next up is usually Swellow. At this point, Higgledy is usually too worn-down to survive anything from Swellow long enough to use Charge Beam (which, even then, has a chance of missing), so I switch into Sligma (Magcargo). Swellow's Flame Orb lets it use a powerful Facade, which still deals a surprisingly large amount of damage even to a Fire/Rock type like Magcargo. I take it out with Ancient Power, which leads to Noel sending out either Bewear or Girafarig.
----
If Bewear:
Easy-peasy. I send in Les (Meowstic-M) for a Fake Out + Psychic combo.
If Girafarig:
I send in Linus (Liepard) for Sucker Punch, although I am considering changing this to some other Dark-type move if I can. It usually works, albeit at the cost of a chunk of HP due to Thunderbolt as well as a virtually unavoidable paralysis when Girafarig has a chance to use Thunder Wave.
----
So, at this point, the team is still somewhat strong. However, my team has typings that can be taken out by most of Cinccino's attacks. And in comes Cinccino. I usually end up wearing it down until I'm left with Les, Gilly, and an extremely weakened (and possibly statused) Higgledy.
Clefable comes next, and it is not fun. Les uses Fake Out + Psychic (STAB + Metronome + Psychic's simple power??). I once got a crit and almost took it out with Gilly, but, keeping in mind Clefable's possession of Hidden Power Ground and Noel's possession of three Hyper Potions, you can probably guess how that turns out.
Higgledy is last to go, and there's not much that can be done at that point.
-
First of your signature doesn't show up in status Updates so it's a bit of hassle to go check for one of your posts just to know what you can work with.
Anyhow, your Magcargo doesn't have Shell Smash. It really wants Shell Smash, that's the main thing making it viable. I'd recommend Weak armor as Ability too, since that allows it to get an additional boost off a physical hit while setting up. With a Shell Smash boost under its belt Flamethrower should do tns of damage on Noel's field. As long as it's not raining, at least.
Male Meowstic isn't a very good attacker, so turn it into a Prankster Support as soon as you can.About Minccino, I'm assuming it's faster than a lot of your Pokémon? If you don't have anything that can take a hit and slow it down (Rock tomb, Bulldoe, paralysis) I'd recommend tanking its Attack stat. Meowstic's Charme and Reflect work for that. I also recommend changing Arcanine's ability to Intimidate.
Clefable is a Special-focused tank, so you're best of using physical attackers against it. If you have anything with toxic or toxic Spikes you could also try stalling it out.
As for your last slot
While Charizard is a very solid Pokémon you already have two Fire Pokémon in your team and I remember you also had a Rapidash some time back, so training yet another Fire type wouldn't yield all that much. Oricorio could be interesting with its various forms allowing it to be rather versatile, although its stats are just a little lower than I'd want them to be in the long run.
Some solid Pokémon that recently became available for you are Zubat, Yanma, Skrelp, Trapinch, Archen or Sandile. There's more obviously, but these are all Pokémon I'd definitely vouch for. Flygon and Archeops in particular have great movepools for upcoming parts of the game.
Finally, did you pick up the House Key in the Underground Railnet? It unlocks the Move Reminder in Onyx Ward which unlocks a lot of flexibility in your movesets and lets your Pokémon relearn a bunch of Lv.1 moves they'd otherwise only learn way later. You can get more Heart Scales fishing for Luvdisc right by Charlotte's family's house or by mining.
