    I'd also recommend replacing your Kricketune with a Graveler that you can catch in the cave.

    You can use it to set up Stealth Rocks turn 1, that will help you a lot. Or you can use it turn 2, after using the strategy Lil' Sunny mentionned, just make sure the terrain has changed, don't let Illumise set up Rain Dance.

    You would need a better steel type than A-Sandslash for starters.

     

    With your team though, I would lead with Noivern and Manetric (give an Amplified Rock). Turn 1, use Fly with Noivern et Electric Terrain with Manetric.

    You will want your Arcanine and Mawile alive for when Adrienn brings xer Mega Mawile, so it doesn't hurt you so much. Also make sure Swampert joins the battle after Mawile has mega evolded, so it can enjoy those powerful Earthquakes, which you will need to destroy Mawile. I'd recommend going to a Move Releaner and teach Fire Blitz to your Arcanine so it has a strong move do damage Mawile and the Grass/Fairy pokemon.

    Honestly of all the Monoruns I've done, Fairy mono was the most enjoyable for me.

    I'd never really played with fairies before, but it's a great typing, especially defensive. Misty Terrain is good also.

    Primarina, which I had never used before, became one of my favourite starters, a really good mon... and Clefable man, Clefable.

    I'd recommend you to lead with Ribombee and set Sticky Web, that'll give you a great advantage in the 3 battles.

    You also need Blaziken in your team, otherwise there's nothing you can do against Fern' Scizor with your actual team, you need a fire mon.

    So get rid of Electrode and Meowstik and lead with Ribombee and add Blaziken.

     

    Absol is a great mon but Pangoro may be more useful here.

    Good job defeating Taka & Corey, Bloody Mary is indeed a MVP, Night Shade is a pretty good move early game.

     

    For Spiritomb honestly the first name that came to mind was: Palantír

    This is the name of Saruman's black magical ball in LoTR which is obviously dark and terrifying, and I think fits Spiritomb perfectly!

     

    For A.Marowak, I think Bone Spirit sounds swell, or even Lord of Bones.

    Oh thanks a bunch, that's good news, Partner Pikachu that's great really. And yeah Electric/Dark Luxray has a nice ring to it, too bad it's a physical attacker and (yet again) Nintendo trolls Electric Pokemon, giving the only 90 BP physical electric move (Zing Zap) a signature move for Togedemaru only, if one does not want to rely on recoil moves then well... Spark I guess.

    Hi I was wondering if you planned on adding more pokemon to your list? 

    I've always loved electric pokemon, but for some reason Nintendo just keeps pooping on them. I would love to see a Dark/Electric Pokemon, for some reason I always imagined that Zoroark would fit this typing perfectly. (Or even our Lord and Savior Pikachu)

    Would ou consider adding a Dark/Electric Pokemon?

    Yes, you copy your save Game.rxdata, which you either rename (Game2.rxdata so it is not deleted) or you just pur the save in another folder. Then you can start another adventure 🙂 And whenever you wish to go back to your main save, just put it back in your saves file (or give it back the original name Game.rxdata)

    This episode was fun because of all the rage and all, but still, 5 crits in a single battle, that's insane, I probably would've ragequit.

    I never considered Shade to be difficult (though now that s/he uses Mimikyu the battle is somewhat more difficult), so I'm really looking forward to see how they perform against some real beasts such as Terra or even Radomus if you don't deal with Trick Room.

    Oh this is an interesting thread!

    In every single Pokemon game I played, I always used the same team throughout the game (not counting HM slaves when needed obviously), meaning that usually by the 4 or 5th badge my team would be set for the rest of the game. Usually, I never play legendaries, and I don't like dragons. I play with Pokemons that I like (both in design and stats) and try not to have 2 pokemon of the same type in the team, all of my teams have one fire and one water pokemon (the only exception was a Poison mono I did once in Reborn). And then everything changed, when the Reborn nation attacked.

     

    I feel like in Reborn it's impossible to stick to a single 6-member team throughout the game (not counting if you build your team before actually starting the run, been there, done that). So I tend to catch more Pokemons than I'm used to, and as a result (and also given the fact that I probably did something like 15 runs (not all completely) of Reborn) I really struggle to build a main 6-member team. The 6 pokemon in my signature are my actual team members. If I had to pick an Ace, I'd choose Excadrill, because this guy saved me so many times (Volcarona as well, but it's Bennett's Ace already, so that's a no-no for me), but then again, these 6 have all earned their places, as they were all the MVPs of the various runs I did. But still I could not consider my Ace to be the same as some other character's, it just takes the "special" out of the Pokemon if you see what I mean, sucks for Volcarona, but oh well.

     

    What really really troubles me though, is the absence of a starter Pokemon. Now I have a few starter pokemon in my PC, but they have nothing on these guys (stat-wise). I really want to use a starter Pokemon as I feel that the starter should be the player's Ace. I think I'll replace Gyarados with Feraligatr that I really like (this guy comes in the 3rd place of my favourite starters, after Venusaur and Blaziken). But the thing is, Gyarados, DD, Moxie, OP, it's hard to say no to that, especially since Gyarados is a cool pokemon with a nice design. But if I do change these two, then Feraligatr becomes my Ace for sure, a unique Pokemon that none of the other main characters play.
