You know that guy, the one in the lab from Redcliff that asks for several mons and give you free items in return. Well, after finishing episode 5, i suddenly remembered i didn't finished his quest so i went back and brought him his meowth, expecting several other demands. Problem : he decided to move to the jinx guild in Celeste town. The one that closed like 2 episodes ago. So yeah, i don't find him anymore. Did i screw up the quest ? Is he somewhere ? Because i don't find him in the new hq of the jinx guild in my manor, which was the only place i could think of...

Kind of bizarre that, even with all the leaks, we still don't know basically anything about Dynamax/Gigantamax. All we really know is that it increases HP, it lasts three turns, the Pokemon's moves change to Max Moves and it can only happen in specific places (like the Stadiums).
Can the 'maxed Pokemon hold items? Does it affect stats other than HP? Are there any Gigantamax Pokemon with different abilites or typings? Do Max Moves work like Z-Moves (as in, do they have a different base power depending on the move they were previously)? Can you switch out a 'maxed Pokemon during battle? What are the other Max Moves? Are there other Gigantamax forms other than the ones already leaked?

- The demo confirmed that yes, they do work like z-moves (although, every move has the same side-effect based on his typing but they are way less strong than z-moves. For example, the dynamax version of Double-edge is "only" 150 bp (but it slows the opponent and doesn't have recoil) )
- Probably not, it's already limited to 3 turns, i don't see it being possible to switch during that time

- That would be strange. The dex already completely leaked, if there was more gigantamax forms, we would know of it.

SpoilerHonestly, it seems pretty fitting to both, i just tend to forget that Noivern exists because i don't have that much attachment to it. But you're right, it would do it good too !

It is technically possible that the Ability might be shared, but seeing as GameFreak has been really obsessed with giving practically every new pokemon something unique to them at the start of the Gen. since Alola, I kinda doubt it.
That being said, the stat compilation does contradict the Color Change leak in another way: the stats themselves. I'll go ahead and and share both as I compare them.
--Rillaboom: 70/110/85/100/85/50
--Cinderace: 70/124/79/74/56/130
--Intelleon: 85/75/65/120/85/100
--Rillaboom: 100/125/90/60/70/85

As you can see, there are quite a few differences between the two. And seeing as the second one is being worked on real time off of the in-game Battle Tower (where everything is Nuetral-Natured, has 31 in all EVs, and have maxed out their EVs), not to mention the fact that none of the leakers seem to have managed to get their hands on any pokemon with HAs yet (meaning that corviknight is the only one that we know the HA for so far), I think it's pretty safe to claim that intelleon will not be saddled with Color Change as its HA.
SpoilerPunk Rock for Toxtricity ? Huh, i can live with that. As i already said, i love its design and i find this ability quite cool so i'll gladly take it, thank you ! (still hope it will be given to Exploud, it would make so much sense... well, maybe not for the name, but the effect is just perfect for it)

Guys... I have great news !
SpoilerSo, this video describes some (maybe all but it's not sure) new abilities and moves. The video itself is in french BUT the descriptions of the moves and abilities are on-screen and in english so you shouldn't have a problem with that.
Quick thoughts about 2 or 3 points : Punk Rock definitely seems like a signature ability for Rillaboom, which furthermore invalidates the previous "leak" about the starters (you know, Rillaboom intimidate, Cinderace swift feet and Inteleon color change). Also, i find this really interesting and hope it will retroactively be added to the Exploud line.
Dragon Darts can only seem to fit into one pokemon to me : our favorite plane-face Dragapult ! Damn, imagine this thing with a choice band !
Obstruct was already "introduced" when we learned Obstagoon was a thing but we didn't know what it was. Oh boy is it good ! Do you see it ? Do you see Obstagoon obstruct + belly drum + extreme speed + sucker punch ?

Protect doesn't "draw in" moves though. It's probably meaning abilities like Storm Drain and moves like Follow Me. Still, it could have its uses, especially in games like Reborn and Rejuv (though, i think Ame said she didn't plan on introducing gen 8 to Reborn)

To give you an idea, i took Salamence as a base, gave it mid iv's and played around a bit while keeping the total at 600, which gave me this repartition. So, in short, it's a Salamence with a bit less offensive presence and a bit less bulk, but an overwhelming speed. Now, to give you an idea of what this thing can do, here is an idea of what it could look like when given a proper competitive build at lvl 100 :
So, same offensive stat than Salamence while being immensely faster ? Yeah, this thing seems pretty busted to me. (may i also add that it still outspeeds a max speed jolly tapu koko, even while adamant ?). No need for bulk, give this guy a choice band and just look at him nuking the entire opposing team with its awesome stab coverage (seriously, the only thing resisting or immune to it are fairy-dark (hello impidimp !), fairy-normal (fear the Wigglytuff !), steel-normal (non-existent, as far as i know) and dark-steel (hello bisharp !), so not *that* much, it can definitely add a ground coverage and everything's fine for him). And he should still be able to take some hits thanks to a good defensive typing : he's either immune or resisting nearly half of the types out there, that's far from nothing. If this guy isn't an icon of HO teams in SwSh, i don't know what will.
Well, maybe i let myself get carried away a little too much, but he should still be a great wallbreaker !

Interestingly enough, we can see that the old gens all have more or less a third of his mons in representation (54 for the 151 from gen 1, 33 for the 100 from gen 2, 42 for the 135 from gen 3, 38 for the 107 from gen 4), while gen 5 has half of them (85 for the 156) and gen 6 and 7 have a middle ground (with 32 for the 72 from gen 6 and 36 for the 86 from gen 7).

Okay, here it is, finally : the full list of the galar regional dex.
Spoiler400 mons, from all generations.
10 galar lines (5 from kanto (only ! : farfetch'd and sirfetch'd, ponyta and galopa, mr mime and his new evolution : mr rime, weezing and whatever passed through the head of the designer team when galarian meowth came to be), 1 from johto (corsola and his new evolution), 1 from hoenn (the zigzagoon line with the brand new obstagoon) and 3 from unova (interestingly enough : yamask and an alternate evolution (or it seems) : ruinegrigus, darumaka and darmanitan aaaand... stunfisk. Okay, why not.) ).
75 completely new pokemon (not counting gigantamax, nor galarian forms and evolutions).
We then jump to a whooping 94 with the 19 regional variants and evolutions ! That's honestly a decent number, which brings the total of pokemon from 809 to 884, 921 if you count the regional variants of both Alola and Galar.
Now, i saw some people saying that the dex expands after you beat the league. Don't know how to interpret that or if it's a good idea to take it into consideration. 400 is already a fair amount imo. Now, i'm not really that affected by the national dex outrage, so my opinion is worth what it is : not that much.
Anyway, i hope you'll still find enjoyment in this game ! Peace !

So many fantastic new mons this gen
SpoilerThis guy is my personal favorite atm :
I already loved his pre-evo, his color scheme is great, his design screams "badass" and he has the facial expression that goes with it, he has a new type combo that i find great (electrik-poison if you didn't guess).
tl;dr : this thing will probably end up in my top 10 favorite pokemon of all times

Okay, hear me out on this one.
It's a dragon. With a name comporting a pun with "catapult". With a head in the shape of a jet. Who shoots his pre-evos by said jet-shaped head.
Also, it gives me Haxorus vibes, which always brings bonus points in my book.

Okay, so the fossils this gen have a pretty cool gimmick. There's not really two fossils. There are two tops ( -vish and -zolt) and two bottoms (arcto- and draco-) and you can combine the two that you want. This is pretty unique and i love this idea. This little guy here is my favorite of the four.

If this thing doesn't scream "I WILL FIND YOU, DESTROY YOUR HOME, MURDER YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND EAT YOUR BABIES !!!", i don't know what does. If you ask me "draw an evil legendary", i would you this. Well, i would if i actually had any talent for drawing. Anyway, you catch my drift : this dude is scary, this dude is gigantic, this dude is beautiful, i love him and i'm eager to see it in action, it's going to be great !
Sooo, there is more that i could show but that's already plenty ! I'll say it again but i really dig the majority of the designs of this gen. Now, if you'll excuse me, i'll go cry a corner of my room because all this still doesn't change the fact that i don't have a switch. Good night guys.

Desolation is generally viewed as the third "big" from the community here though it is somewhat shorter as of now because it went on several quite important hiatuses (though it's now back on track with a full team compared to the one-man-project it was at the start)
Spork is also pretty neat from what i remember
