About Me
Bad Luck! That is part of my existence. How about getting critically hit 10 times in a row?
Anyways I am the kinda guy who would rather think about reasons and discuss stuff than actively
force myself or others into a certain direction.
Officially recognized Programmer by trade (currently looking for job, right after having finished my Exams),
I excel in logic and try to find connections whenever possible (also makes it easier to remember stuff).
My favourite Pokemon are Umbreon, Froslass and Guardevoir.
Also I am a terrible player so do not even try to ask me about battling or anything.
Currently trying to write a novel but lack of self-esteem kinda makes that impossible.
Further questions? Just send me a PM.
UU Team(work in progress):
I only recently started to think about competetive pokemon battles and went through smogons threads on the topic. Started to look at Umbreon, because fav pokemon, so I decided to work on an UU team. Simply wanted for it to contain Umbreon so I went into the smogon pages and made this team based on team suggestions on the separate pages.
Umbreon @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Wish
- Toxic
- Baton Pass
- Foul Play
Umbreon essentially plays Cleric and Wallweakener/Sweeper endangerer. Wish and Baton Pass to always be able to heal other team mates. Might exchange Foul Play with Moonlight, but that would give Umbreon no offensive abilities. Alternatively I could exchange Toxic with Heal Bell for more cleric-ness but taking out its wall weakener abilties.
Crobat @ Black Sludge
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- U-turn
- Defog
- Brave Bird
- Roost
According to Smogons threads that I read, in UU Fighting, Fire and Electric Pokemon are the most used Sweepers. Crobat is specifically there to take out the first of those with Brave Bird, while U-Turn allows switching out into whatever is needed. Roost for staying power.
Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP / 16 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
- Earthquake
- Scald
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
Swampert is a secondary Stealth Rock setter to take out whatever no-one else would be able to take out. Immune to Electric, he will be able to take out most electric types with an earthquake or force a switch, which gives time for setting Stealth Rocks. Havent read anything about Item Regulations though, so might kill it if 2 Leftovers is not allowed.
Chandelure @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
- Memento
Chandelure destroys Fighting and Grass Types, while also nullifying many Fire and Normal Types with Flash Fire and its Ghost Typing. In case of an that the rest of the team can't deal with otherwise, I put Memento in the last slot for crippling whatever needs crippling. Not sure if Fire Blast is a good idea though due to accuracy. Might change to Flamethrower.
Abomasnow-Mega @ Abomasite
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 76 HP / 252 Atk / 180 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Seed Bomb
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
Setup Sweeper, mostly used after Chandelure Memento.
Nidoqueen (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 180 HP / 252 SpA / 76 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
- Stealth Rock
- Flamethrower
Quite literally only there because I couldn't think of anything better. Great Stealth Rock Setter and nice type coverage in order to take out whatever is necessary.
