okay since i haven't seen a fix for this (or even seemingly this issue being mentioned before...?), a consistent issue my friend runs into when attempting to do florin's battle:
This also happens regardless of whether Flora or Florin is teamed up with in Darchlight Cave.
we tried to test it with erin but she just teleported to the elevator and stayed there Thanks Erin™ -

They're in Darchlight Cave, in the elevator room, but Florin doesn't respond so they can't progress.

So somehow (probably due to a bug in that Jenkel mechanic that allows you to revisit the Goldenwood Incident?) I have two Shadow A-Grimer and I'm preeeetty sure that's not mean to happen lmao

I'd presume Fly isn't actually gonna be usable on the field until v11 release, so you will probably be able to get the HM in v11 story content. I've also tested the corresponding HM replacement item (Golden Wings) and it seems to still be nonfunctional even after beating Souta in v10.

Have same issue as Alexie, can't battle/get past Bladestar Grunt Lee as he has only one Pokemon causing the game to crash.

Will be continuing my main run through E17 content, but also gonna start a separate file or two for experiencing all changes/added stuff throughout the game (esp. the gen 7-related changes), as well as hunting down any elusive bugs~

Mmm, it's probably not a good idea to get too hyped just yet. As other people have said, there's still a bunch of non-story stuff to finish, and I dunno how long the AI stuff in particular could take, but it could be a while. ^^;
Basically, the episode will be ready when it's ready, so please watch warmly~

There's also these sprites in the graphics files, but I don't remember them being used anywhere either...? I may have to check again, my memory isn't exactly the best. ^^;

Something that kinda weirded me out a bit...in the files, there's
Spoilertrainer battles sprites for the deoxys virus'd darkrai cultists, but I did the postgame stuff concerning curing Damian (and by extension the cultists) and never battled those cultists, only the few that weren't virus'd hanging around in nightmare badlands. Did I just miss something/run into some weird glitch, or were the virus'd cultist battles just not implemented after all...? (I am on Easy difficulty, wasn't able to catch Darkrai, and have yet to catch Deoxys)

Honestly, the character page in general is pretty outdated anyways. Heck, it still has Taka's older design. I think it should either be totally redone or just removed (or the link to it removed anyways) tbh, though of course there's plenty of other things which would take priority over that right now.

After so many resets, I just spammed Quiver Dance a bit at Delta Volcarona because Why Not and Helios just kinda...swept the rest of his team with Bug Buzz/Heat Wave??? I-I don't think that's quite how you're supposed to metagame, but I'll take the win anyways~
