I am trying to finish the starter quest and I am only missing one Pokemon : Litten

I have checked on the fandom page and it seems that there are two ways of getting Litten depending on which gang you sided on but I don't remember which gang I chose in the previous episodes.

 

One way is from a trade in Agate city  however the trainer offers me an Oshawott which suggest to me that I sided with the Aqua gang.

 

 

So I tried to explore the second option which is the application quest, but I am pretty sure I have done it in a previous episode but I did not get a Litten though because I do have the choice specs.

 

 

I went to 7th street and Archer is nowhere to be found (I have restored the slums and done all the other projects available in ep 18). 

I have found a sprite which looks like Archer near the train station in Peridot but the dude does not interact with me.

 

 

 

I am really stuck on that one and could use a hand to complete my Pokedex ! So here the question, what did I miss to get Litten ?

I have done the quest quite a few episodes ago (and it was a long time ago) when I restored the slums so I don't remember what prize Archer gave me.

All I know is that he is not where he was when the quest was active and the guy in Agathe City is trading me an Oshawott and not a Litten (so that's how I know my quest was the Aqua side).

I have done the Aqua gang application quest but did not receive a Litten with choice specs (I don't remember what pokemon I received instead but I did get the choice specs).

 

Also it's a rare thing but if one of you guys have a good IV ditto it's time for me to breed my Metagross

Thanks for your answer, this is going to be an issue as the orphanage is locked without any possible access to it once you have finished the quest (to be sure you are mentioning the asylum in lapis ward ?)

Azurine Cave..? if you mean the place where you get told it's 'chilly', you usually can reach there from the 'K' underwater village section through resurfacing at a 2x2 light coloured area underwater

GUM key quest is only available if you upgraded Obsidia Slums

Ok I just finished the Spring puzzle and got a megastone, is that it to the place? Should I bring a whirlwind-ing pokemon to clear the fog?

 

You encounter quite often wild pokemons who can clear up the steam !

I am trying to find the azurine cave again but went around all the diving areas and couldn't find it again, is there a weather/time condition too find it ? If not could someone tell me which diving area leads me to the cave ? 

 

Also is the GUM key quest the only quest available when paying to restore the slums ?

I have been doing a bit of pushing and surfing in the cave where you find the razor claw, managed to get myself into a lot of steam but for very good reasons, I was wondering is there more pushing and swimming to be done or are the two items the only thing to be found in that cave ? I could see a few starters feeling just well into that steam !

Hi guys,

With the E16 close to being released and a glance at new field effects I will probably train an Escavalier that could get useful in future battles (could also be used in a trick room team), I have a quick question concerning the egg moves for both Escavalier and Accelgor.

Knowing that the only way to get them is through an exchange with the bug collector at Spinel town , is there any way to get egg moves on those two pokemons ?

I already looked at the IVs and natures that do not get passed down when we exchange the shelmet and karrablast and I would expect the same for egg moves not passed down, could someone confirm ?

Hi Joquim, yes you can get females by breeeding mudkip with ditto, just you have 87.5% chances to get a male and 12.5% to get a female like most of the starters so you just need to be patient ! You should get at least a female every ten eggs hatched.

I believe snorlax could learn the egg move curse even without going through munchlax first.

You can breed natures and IVs through snorlax but you need the incense to learn the egg moves through munchlax so curse is not available yet.

You could replace curse with crunch to be able to hit ghost types

I feel like it is hard to have a nice moveset so far for snorlax as you cannot breed it yet with the full incense being unavailable. You have two very good movesets really focused on body slam however you do not cover ghost types and most of the types resistant to normal attacks.

So far without curse and zen headbutt being available a moveset with more cover and available in the current episodes would be

Snorlax (leftovers those things were made for snorlax)

Body Slam

Crunch

Brick Break (hi steel/rock/ice/dark types)

Defense curl (def stats are atrocious on snorlax but it can tank a few hits to set it up)/ substitute/ double team

But then the two moveset you proposed for a full body slammer are nice as well !

Yes depending on what you get from the mysterious egg you can work from there.

Noivern's main asset is its speed, but to be really competitive you need to have a good nature such as timid, rash boosts special attack but lowers special defense making him weaker defensively.

Noivern is still kind of nice statistically speaking and in terms of movesets. In case you are wanting to keep him but make him more competitive, breed him and get a timid with the following moveset: dragon pulse/hurricane/boomburst/flamethrower (no need to breed moves just the nature).

Then you already have two big fast special sweepers with roserade and gardevoir, you could add porygon z (rip link stones) or chandelure or misdreavus; all of them would be better with a modest nature.
