Amethyst- As we all know, we wouldn't have this lovely little
sometimes chaoticplace to call an online home without you. Back when I discovered this place in 2012 I never would have imagined I'd still be here today. Granted, I'm not nearly as active as I once was but I still exist to some degree. Reborn made a rough part of my life a lot easier to deal with, and I would not have met any of the people I did during that time if not for you creating this community. So, thanks.Ikaru- Bro, you're the unsung hero of this place imo. Or rather, you're basically Reborn's Batman. You and Amethyst have held this place together very well, and all though your appearances to us mere mortals is rare I appreciate the times you do show up with some funny or sassy comment/reaction image. Hopefully we can play PSO2 together! You're an awesome man, Ika, and I don't pick favorites when it comes to admins
but you're totally my favoriteAzery- We don't speak as much anymore which is something I'd honestly like to change. I know we shoot the piss about each other all the time, but in the end I hope you know I still consider you a buddy. If nations 4 takes off(and at this point I'm still hoping it was some sick joke) we'll definitely have more shenanigans to experience.

Aerith sucks and XBC2 is better than XBC1.There's not much fun if you agree with everything your pals say though, so the differing opinions are welcome and usually exciting. If I'm being real, back when I first joined I never could have seen us interacting as often as we do now. Granted, back then I was more focused on playing Pokemon than anything else lol. Either way, glad we are. Stop calling me by that cringe nickname though.My cereal is gonna get soggy if I drag this out anymore so I'll just throw out a quick appreciation for the rest of the auth team and the community as a whole. You all make this place thrive and make it an exciting place to be. Without the community, and the auth team to manage the madness that exists within Reborn couldn't survive. So keep being awesome and Reborn could surely last forever.

I actually found Reborn through a friend. More specifically, back when Pokemon Online was a thing I was looking for a way to play competitive Pokemon online and a friend mentioned Pokemon Online. I started out on their main server, but one day I was browsing the servers list and stumbled upon Reborn. If I remember right they were advertising their online Pokemon League in their server description so I was interested in that idea and joined up which lead me to the forums to sign up.

Been a very long time since I posted anything on these forums but I'm breaking the streak today. Recently I watched Twitch Rivals and it sparked the idea to have a similar event here. Honestly I don't know if enough of you will want to or even see this but I'm gonna try anyway.
The basic idea is to have a best of 5 series between two teams consisting of Reborn members. As for incentive I will personally gift every member of the winning team a skin of their choice. However, there will be some restrictions to that. To preserve my bank account I'm gonna have to not allow Ultimate and Legendary tier skins. If a skin is not your preference I can gift you a champion you do not own if that's what you prefer. It goes without saying I have to actually be able to obtain the skin in order to gift it to you.
As for the requirements. There are none other than you must be in on the North American server. You can be Grandmaster or Iron 4 or even Unranked. It's all for fun. We'll need at least 9 sign ups. I say 9 since I intend on participating. But if there's enough interest we can see about subs as well. I also ask that anyone that signs up be open to voice chat via Discord as it helps communication in game but it's not really a requirement if you're uncomfortable with that. As for the time. Ideally I'd like it to take place on a weekend. So Saturday or Sunday. If this generates enough interest I'll think of a more precise date and update everyone to see if what works. But as a placeholder I'll say this Saturday at 6pm EST.

Week 3: STABBYMONS
What up it's your boy here bringing you week 3 of everyone's favorite past time! This time around we're making things simple. STABMONS!!! What is STABMONS? Simply put, it's where a Pokemon can use a move it doesn't normally learn/get as long as it shares the Pokemon's type. An example of this would be a Celesteela using Roost, or Garchomp with Dragon Dance.
Rules:
To keep things simple and as fun as possible for everyone we're using standard STABMONS bans. More on that below. In addition, standard Smogon battle clauses are in effect. Another thing I wish to clarify is the Pokemon you use must share the type with the move in its current evolution. For instance, you can't give Tyranitar the move Shore Up because it isn't a Ground type. This applies to Pokemon with other formes with different typing, as well as Mega Pokemon that gain a typing. So your Rotom-W can't use Flamethrower, and your Mega Sceptile can't use Draco Meteor.
Bans:
MOVES: Chatter, Water Spout, Eruption, Shift Gear, Tail Glow, Fell Stinger, Spectral Thief, Geomancy, Accupressure, Belly Drum, Extremespeed, Lovely Kiss, Shell Smash, Spore, Thousand Arrows, Omniboosting Z-Moves
