reviving this thread briefly because ive gone mad thinking about this small theory about future plot points about pokemon desolation The dream that the majority of the game takes place in is the dream of darkrai perfection and shiv and auroura have their powers because they are lucid dreamers

It's more like the Dream that happens is a memory of the past. But the choices that affect the story are basically because you are the one telling it, the way you saw everything. It's a product of your possibly inaccurate memory and your desire to see what you want to see.

  2. Gamefreak hires you because Generation 8 wasn't the "Smashing Hit" they wanted it to be.

You get all the time you need, and you have complete creative freedom. You can even delay the damn game if the Workload is too big.

You don't even have to go with 3D graphics. Sprites are OK. Even a Style Reminiscent of Octopath Traveler would be nice.

Restrictions: You have to have new Pokemon. You have to have a type and a few new moves. You have to have a new Region.

But you don't have to worry about Merchandising and the Anime. Ignore those things.

    What do you do?

    Spoiler

Would you add in actual Mechanics instead of useless gimmicks? Would you bring old ones like Triple Battles back?

Welp, it seems to be a bit disappointing.

On one hand, I'm grateful that everyone was safe. We don't really need any mindless conflict or bloodshed over something so silly.

And on the other, my sadistic side is a bit disappointed that we didn't get more of a show with a good amount of people actually attempting to raid the base. That side is also impressed at the lack of people that went out there, for some reason I really thought more people were crazy enough to go through with it.

We did get that Naruto Runner though.

Apart from that... Yeah, nothing too exciting. I would have liked to see some Aliens.

What screenshot are you talking about

Go to Caz's profile until you get to the July 30th marker.

Anyways, I think Caz is the Night Mother. He's there, always watching. But he never comments. Maybe He'll only speak to a chosen "Listener".

  5. And if you disagree, you are wrong and should be ashamed. Okay, not really. Please don't cry.

There actually isn't a character in this entire tier list that I hate or even dislike. That's actually why I like this series.

Feel free to disagree. I know some would disagree with my placement of Egil and Melia below Shulk and Rex. And for good reasons that I can't deny.

I love Amalthus so much, that I even named the Protagonist of my Intense mode Pokemon Rejuvenation run after him. I love his narcissism, his nihilism, the fact that in the end, he was just a giant manchild,

    Spoiler

And the fact that he's more Zanza-like than Zanza's literal other half.

  6. First of all, Xenoblade Chronicles definitive edition. I already have the game on the 3DS, but I'm still picking it up. It looks beautiful. Fiora looks prettier with these graphics.

And with the announcement of more DLC characters, Rex's chances of being in Smash just skyrocketed. He was a prime candidate that didn't make it in because he came too late. But now he has another shot. I'm glad I never lost my faith in him.

All we got as consolation in Sword and Shield... was better customization options and a cooking minigame. I probably can't make my character look like Alice Winthrop or Legacy Axel. So who really cares? This is not enough to get me to consider spending money on this game.

Witcher 3 looks nice. I wouldn't have thought that Nintendo would ever allow the publishing of such graphic sex scenes in their children's video game console, but I'm wrong about a lot of things. Not that I’m complaining, because I’m not.

Also, Overwatch came to Switch a few years too late for me to care.
