    "... right, I'll let you do the talking then." Striding toward his cabin at a brisk pace, Gael left the apparently pacified Kenkus with his companions. There, he picked up the equipment he had left, notably his rapier.

    Kaeso's words weren't met with much reluctance from Gael; the Kenkus seemed to have lost their will to fight, and keeping one of them hostage would surely not serve any purpose other than aggravating them. "Very well." Gael released the unconscious bird and slowly backed away. "There's a time for blades, and there's a time for words. Undoubtedly, your captain should have a lot to tell us." Nonetheless, Gael remained on his guard and listened closely, hoping to detect any footsteps or movements that would indicate the arrival of more foes. (Perception check, 12)

    Alrighty, it seems the "no more votes" option is winning! I'll see if Dive agrees to change how it works, and if everyone's ok we'll resume the AMAs but with volunteers this time

    Still keeping the defeated kenku in check and readying himself for any threatening move, Gael twisted his mouth into an ominous grin as he listened to Kaeso's outburst. Glancing sideways at the remaining foes, he calmly added: "I'd listen to the big guy in armor if I were you, and answer his question. We wouldn't want to make him even angrier than he already is now, would we?" (performing the help action to give Kaeso advantage on his roll)

    Time's up for Jace's AMA, thank you for answering all the questions! Now before starting a new vote to elect the next interviewee, I'd like to poll the community for a while. See, the problem with the current system is that people who would want to do an AMA don't necessarily get votes, and people who actually don't may get votes nonetheless. Which is kind of unfair. So the options I'm considering are: we ditch the voting system and create a list of volunteers instead, or we keep the same system but with shorter phases so they rotate faster, or we just keep the current system as it

    The Kenku he was fighting seconds earlier now resting unconscious on the floor, Gael heard the other birds' claims and shook his head; this entire mess was nothing but a waste of time. Lunging forward, he pressed a dagger against the unconscious Kenku's throat and yelled at the others "Drop your weapons now, or this one dies!" in an attempt at intimidating them into surrender.

    Upon hearing the Kenku's mockery of a laugh, Gael merely smirked and again pushed away from his foe, skillfully twisting his body this time. It was enough to make the bird lose its grip. Finally free to move, Gael dashed down the hallway without so much as a glance to his would-be captor and unsheathed one of his daggers, ready to engage the next enemy. "Tsk. Not dying or getting caught here." Spotting Kaeso, Gael ran towards him as fast as he could.

Taking a few seconds to process what is happening, he realizes that in spite of his precautions, someone not only broke into his cabin but also abducted him! "Fools."     In spite of his relatively light consumption of the poisoned drink, in spite of his precautions before going to bed, Gael is still asleep, nestled in the soft, feathery embrace of a gentle and caring Kenku.

    Gael quietly headed to his room. After shutting the door behind him, he quickly looked around. Not much of interest, to be sure, but he found what he was looking for; a chair by a small wooden table. He carefully positioned it leaning on the door, so opening from outside would knock the chair over and produce a loud noise. He then allowed himself some rest.

    Ignoring the faint, echoing growls of the fiend tugging at a dark corner of his mind, Gael accepted the drink without a word, and took a small sip while adjusting his position on the chair.
