Sorry for not announcing phase change yet, I know I should have done so a while ago but I've noticed a significant drop in activity here over the past few cycles (very few people voting, not that many asking questions). Maybe it's time to not make this a systematic process the way it has been so far, because evidently people get tired of it / lose interest. So there won't be another voting phase right away. As relieved to not have taken the Drilbur's attack as he was, Edwin certainly hadn't wished it on poor, naive Altasal. Seeing her stumbling, heavily damaged and on the verge of fainting, he exclaimed "We need to settle this, quickly!" Edwin then charges against the Shellos and attempts to cut it down. Evaluating the newly arrived Forretress as a minor threat, Edwin ignored its attack and chose to focus on the other assailants. His unique eye blinked rapidly as Drilbur burrowed its way underground! "Oh no... this is bad, this is really bad indeed" thought the Honedge with an anxious twitch of his cloth. He then saw it; Beedrill was rushing straight towards Sparks, threatening him with his sharp stings! "How many times must I teach you this lesson, you mindless beasts!" Edwin propelled himself between Sparks and the Beedrill, and opposed his blade to the bug's stings.

Glancing behind is back, Edwin caught a glimpse of pure chaos. A Machoke, a Drilbur and a Beedrill had breached the gate, and were now threatening his companions! The Drilbur was rapidly spinning, projecting fragment of spider webs all over the corridor, the Beedrill was dancing in the air, zooming towards Altasal, and the Machoke, enraged by Leo's attack, was towering him threateningly and readying an ice-cold fist. Perceiving the imminent danger, Edwin let out a gasp and rushed blade-first between Leo and the Machoke. "Thou shalt not harm my companion, foul creature!" *zwing*

"Altasal, no! You should have waited!" Edwin hastily hovers towards the tail end of the group of adventurers, facing down the corridor where they came from. "By the blades of my ancestors, they're everywhere! I'll try to intercept any enemy coming from behind. I trust you to take care of anything that comes out the door!" Mostly ignoring Leo's babbling, Edwin glanced back in direction of the door they had left locked, with some regret. There was no telling what kind of loot, trial or encounter there could have been behind it. Looking in front of him again, he saw another split. "Hmm... I think we should explore the short corridor that immediately turns south, first, but in any case I'll follow the majority. It probably wouldn't do to split up so early."

Puzzled by Altasal's remark, Edwin replied: "In a sense, I did get to sleep more than you, but it wasn't exactly a choice, and I wouldn't call it a nap. Regardless!
