Fire Types do 1.5 times damage so even with it more or less being a X2 weakness, HP is still going to kill it pretty easily.

I was hoping about a set like this:

By admitting I am at stade 1, I use protect first, then Nature Force (Growth) to go directly stade 3, then 4 at the end of the turn (and surviving a hit with the sash) then protect again to stall time for the 5th stade.
