    Could Pokémon Sun and Moon be based on Inca Mythology, and have Legendaries based on Inti (Sun) and Killa (Moon)? Sounds fair.

      I don't think acient Norses worshipped a Sun god and a Moon god, or at least on equal status. But with Pokémon, everything can happen.

      well Norse Mythology has Sól and Máni as personifications of the sun and moon respectiveley

      also with Norse Mythology we could get some kind of "Ragnarök" plot - with Fenrir as a third legendary completing the trio :P

      and since Kalos has Zygarde (based on the nordic dragon 'Nidhöggr') we could also have the Serpent 'Jormungand' :D

      SOOOO many room for possibilites!

      So much room for activities! :D
