  2. It's about time !

     

    PZ v1.12 :

    - Minimalist Indicators support ! With 3 presets : default, bright types (low contrast variant) and SINFUL (full text, half pixels) for people wanting the clarity of SWM type displays.

    - Uniformized all the box backgrounds and made the neutral ones. 14 left to finish.

    - Battle UI tweaks (text offset from game-z.exe is no longer here)

     

    I'm aware about the mega/crest icon offset in Rejuv, but since Megas are not out until v13 and the positionning is indeed a bit wonky, I'll wait before attempting something more serious.

    I'm updating an attempted fix for the time being, PZR v0.5b.

     

    EDIT : Updated the PZ archive again, the MI Sinful variant didn't have updated type bars for MI 1.0.6.

    Your custom UI for both Reborn and Rejuvenation clearly display the level of skills and passion that went into these. But i like your idea to provide separate versions for Reborn's Game.exe and Game-Z.exe.

    Also, you might want to consider that Rejuvenation might start using the new engine that Reborn's Game-Z.exe runs on as well in future versions, as this engine makes the game run that much smoother.

    With the font fixing that happened on Reborn though, it's no longer necessary to make that separation. The font offset was basically the only reason for said version split to happen.

    Could you send me a screenshot ? I didn't reach that point in the game yet, so I didn't have the opportunity to test that, but I should be able to fix it.

     

    In other news, a rectified variant of the Reborn battle UI is ready to be uploaded, since the font offsets have been fixed.

    I just want to finish at least uniformizing the pokemon boxes before updating the thread though, so you'll have to be a bit more patient, sorry !

    In other news, I'll probably work on that stuff again soon.

    I'm considering adding a non-Game-z variant for the battle bars in bonus content, because I'm not sure how permanent the font placement is.

  6. Updated PZR (Battle UI again, Summary UI tweaks, trainer card !) and updated the screenshots album as well.

    EDIT : I kinda forgot to mention it, but it has SWM support now (box multi-select, item finder, type display, stats changes) !

    Updated PZ, now compatible with the new engine/executable ! Boxes are still not done yet, so you will see inconsistencies between backgrounds, but I had to at least push a fix for Game-z.exe.
    Some tweaks to the battle bars has been done in the process.

  7. Hey there.

     

    For those of you who aren't aware, I started a variant of my texture pack called "PZ Rejuvenated", that I "stealthily" released in a very-WIP state here.

    I just updated it, now with Summary UI alongside Battle UI tweaks.

     

    Also fixed a biiig oversight in the PZ Summary UI, I don't know why I didn't notice it until now.

     

    Below some screens of what to expect from PZ Rejuvenated  :

    All summary screens have a different main color depending on the original UI's icon color, I'm just showing the "Info" one to not clutter everything.

  8. New update !

     

    - Last iteration for the default, amethyst and sapphire theme trainer cards [trainercard.png]

    - Steel icon tweak (Battle buttons + box background) [box13.png, battleFightButtons.png]

    - New battle command buttons [battleCommandButtons.png]

     

    Concerning the new battle command buttons, there's a variant with a sword instead of an explosion-thing, in Bonus Content/Misc.

    Concerning your suggestion, I won't do that, because that would make it confusing for new users.

    What I can do, however, is mention in the changelog which files I updated.

  10. Little update with some improvements :

    - New iteration for the trainer card ("neutral" by default, "team meteor" in bonus content)

    - New battle status display

    - Minor changes to the battle bar

    - Trainer cards for Cobalt & Amethyst themes, but they are based on the old variant

     

    Currently planning on renaming the "Cobalt" theme into "Sapphire", and make small changes accordingly (new pokegear gem, some color tweaks).

    That and upgrading the themed trainer cards to the new variant I came up with.

    Glad you're enjoying my pack ! I'm actually planning on extending the bonus themes to the newly added trainer cards, so if you like that theme, there's more coming.

  12. v1.5 update :

     

    Custom shinies are now opt-in.

    I'm well aware that my spritework is a mixed bag, so if you don't want them, you'll be relieved to know you don't have to manually remove them after every update.

    If you do enjoy them, they are available in the Bonus Content folder.

     

    I had a good chuckle reading the reactions of some people, unaware that my stuff changed some shinies, but I guess it's better this way for the end user.

    It won't stop me from working on them or making more though, because I like all of them.

     

    SWM support is now opt-out. If you use (or want to use) SWM Modular Modpack, install it first, then my pack.

    If you don't, SWM will overwrite my content for it, and you'll have to do everything manually like before.

     

    - Finished the Clefable custom shiny (that wasn't supposed to be in yet because no backsprite).

    - Small improvements to the Milotic custom shiny.

    - Probably some other things I forgot.

    Bag : Cobalt Theme

    Pokegear : Amethyst Theme (I failed my screencap but it's okay, you've seen what you need to see)

     

     

    Another update ! A new custom shiny (Empoleon), a rework of the bag UI, a new Pokegear theme, and some little changes here and there.

    I don't know if the new shiny will stay, it was an one-off thing for the lulz. If it doesn't fit I'll remove it.

     

    EDIT : I just noticed that the shade of purple used for the amethyst theme was too dark for the jukebox menu, will fix next update.

    Who are you ?

    I'm mostly a semi-absent lurker. I often disappear, only to reappear once in a blue moon, when someone posts something on my stuff, or when a major update happens.

    Needless to say, my interactions with the community are fairly minimal. So much that I didn't even try to get verified on the Reborn Discord.

     

    What did you do ?

    I'm partly responsible for the UI overhaul Reborn had since EP 17, since I'm one of the few crazy ones that tried to redesign it 1 week after learning about the game and playing it (iirc it was a bit before EP 16).

    Amethyst changed them a bit on her side before integrating them, and she didn't take everything (like box backgrounds), so my original work is still available on this forum, if you're curious.

     

    What can you talk to me about ?

    Anything, I guess ? I don't have trigger words/subjects or something, but I doubt my input on anything would be significant, so... meh.

     

    Closing statement ?

    Now that's a weird thing. I'm used to just end these kinds of posts with "That's all" or "I'm done for now", but that's kinda out of place after that question, isn't it ?

    If I had a closing statement, it would be this : English is not my native language, so feel free to correct me if I made & make mistakes here and there.

    It's important to me, because I do enjoy writing from time to time.
