Hah. Never had i noticed how well the irritation TM fit the whole thing. Bless
And this is why Axew was .. well.. axed xD

tho tbf if liquidation had dropped your defense in the beginning (50% chance) it would have all been over. then again 'mons revolves all around luck
And at least v10 Crawli offers a proper challenge now. It's doubles for starters.

WTf i see this had new posts but i didnt expect so many new updates suddenly stacked together. So much to read lol!
Poor Rowlet. The next gym types do it no favors. Tho it might do well in the next ones so dont diss it!My favorite ice cream taste is mastic.
If you want more reasons to visit a therapist just look at you blind nuzlocking these games.Poor Slugma line doesn't deserve such hate
Also Elekid was a static encounter / event mon / howeveruwannacallit anyway so you still had the right to catch it.
Or something that sounds actually heroic!Like satisfying the perpetual boredom of real life
Did Rose just eat a protean powered Ice Beam? Or does it not have protean or ice beam in normal? I dunno whatsup in normal xD
I'm still having trouble figuring out if Crawli is male or female tbh.
I wonder if i should spoil about the card piece. Considering the chance of one finding out themelves is like less than 1%.
I know i commented mostly on the last chapter but decreased attention span comes with growing older :F

Nice to see progress on this.
Of course Id go with option 2 since thats the most beneficial. Waiting was never an issue

Horace was awkwardly watching the scene, and when he finally found a free window to speak, he made use of it. "So, Sir, I gather this is pretty important. Seeing as we are already in this case, I'd like to ask, what is that "everything" we have to find about? And how are we going to go about it?"
-
Spoiler
I have been trapped listening to this for the last 3 days
-
"Is it... just... impossible... to have... a nice relaxing briefing... after a shower?" A panting Horace mumbled as he was trying to keep pace with the others. "Damn crazy woman."
He eventually would come to a halt and trying to catch his breath in front of Daniel's door along with presumably the others, where Samantha would be waiting for it to open.
-
Both jobs sound leet. Good going! Try to not get burned out though
-
"Also," Horace decided to add to the above "we got the briedcase, but its contents were not what we expected. I think Serra can explain that part better though."
-
Figuring out the place was clear once again, since he didn't fancy people asking him how much of all that he had heard, Horace dried himself with the towel before getting out and heading to his belongings to prepare for the meeting. Magnum on the other hand was thinking how cool would he seem to the other pokemon if he showed off his knowledge of what their humans had been up to. Lucky his smile was pretty obscure to humans, who had trouble discerning the facial expression of anything that didn't have what they considered a standard mouth. Horace wouldn't have approved of that betrayal.
When he entered the room, some people were already there. Serra had the looks of someone who had just woken up, and near her was another woman he didn't know, that was currently being prodded in the butt. He stifled a grin and then went "Sup," to noone in particular, before taking a seat. "The PA mentioned a Samantha. Could it perhaps be you, miss?" he said to the aforementioned female.
-
In the meantime, Horace, who was in another shower, was listening with interest all this, even Magnum seemed interested. Hearing something about a photograph was enough reason for him to not dare step out of those showers.

These news are indeed sweet

Rants are okay. The author's opinions is a good subject for the readers to take into account when writing a reply
like what im doing right now.Yes to be honest i would have wanted to see more feedback on the battles of a game that has made it as one of its goals to make them challenging, especially since you have the experience to give some good feedback, which is why i initially cared about Intense mode, but to be honest? The mode where the game should give more priority to, should be the normal mode. So it is not just me compromising with your decision, but rather actually preffering if you wrote your thoughts on the battles of the Normal mode (even if its a mode that i never even touched).

Well, shit, that was sad. Truth to be told thats how i usually lose mons in lockes. Not to major battles because i go for them prepared, but to random shit where i just blindly walk in with probably an unoptimised team. Too bad that these reborn-esque games are all the more unforgiving in that area too.
Alas poor Mothball, he tried to fight the power creep but it inevitably got him in the end. Keeping him in the team for so long (probably more out of sentiment, than anything) was an accomplishment in itself. If he could have learned Quiver Dance he could have maybe been more resourceful. He, Coffee and the rest will not be forgotten o7

Horace coughed after the cloud of perfume surrounded him. "That was.. *cough* pretty redundant, as we were going to shower anyways... We don't like this filth either, naturally!" He coughed once more as he went to pick a blanket, shampoo, and a change of clothes and headed towards the showers. Someone else was already occupying one. He went to another one and started thinking of how the day had gone, which led to him letting out a pretty audible sigh. Though some part of him figured he also enjoyed parts of it a little. He raised Magnum, who was also getting a shower treatment to his eye level and said. "Is it bad that I enjoyed some parts of the mission a little? ...Who am I asking though, you sure enjoyed it even more than me!" Magnum rolled his eyes in an "I don't know what you're talking about" way, to which Horace replied with "Yeah, right..."
-
"We just got employed here, did you really expect any of us to have our own handcuffs or something? It should have been pretty much routine procedure to provide new staff with some basic stuff before sending them on their first mission without them asking." Horace answered, bottling up his exasperation or trying to. "As for these guys, they are quite obviously members of Team Rocket, and they are related with our suitcase case. Serra should have more info to share regarding the suitcase itself, because she took it with her for investigation while i kept these guys occupied." He finished on a professionally neutral tone.
-
Horace wondered how did it escape his mind that there were two criminals that needed to be carried, before proceeding to agree with Elias' suggestion and carry the male Rocket into the building. He stifled a laugh as the girl was dumped on James' desk and wished there was more space for him to dump the guy too. Instead he settled for dumping him on the side of the office and saying "Interesting personell you guys got here. With such standards it's no wonder that all of us got accepted in the agency. By the way these two will need interrogating, and ... I can't believe you sent us out there without at least providing us handcuffs."

About the Piano Lady: I wouldn't be surprised if Jan decided to recycle her because she became popular with the community from the intro. That aside, she is a likable deus ex machina which is at least better than if she was not likable xD
Plot conveniences is how pokemon games always worked. Things coincidentally happen just when you happen to pass by that place.
Fresh Infinity Wars references there. I liked Drak too, being imo the least valuable fighter of these films, but making up for it with his unique comic relief potential.
I dont have issues with talking pokemon. This is the game we are playing after all, and they should be the stars of the show. Sometimes these story heavy games make me forget pokemon exist, with all that human-centered plot development. I also dont have an issue if their characters turn out to be better than some human characters. We know for a fact that most species intelligence icomes close to a human's, with he language barrier being the main issue, so comparing them with real world animals personality wise is inaccurate. People hate Gossip Gardevoir too but not because she is done badly imo. She is just an annoying personality -period. I wish these games shared the spotlight of the story with pokemon a bit more. That's another good thing that i feel WLL did.
About LOTR, i feel like the movies already butchered the book contents enough already xD We don't need your example to happen.
About who sabotaged some things before you did the job with Braixen.... wasn't it made apparent later that Mom was the possible saboteur?
Red Mage... Is Shelly's Scizor named like that eventually? xd
Did you remember to raise the difficulty to Intense? ^^ Maybe one of the reasons Madelis was very easy.
....I never noticed that detail about the Guards. hah
The beverage is not Saki but Sake, and its made from rice. I have drank sometimes, its not bad. I still preffer red wine tho.
Aelita was freed by M-gurl thats how she went and recued Augustus. How could you forget about it some pictures afterwards? Except if you were speaking from the MC's PoV who didn't know that.
This thing that Reborn and Rejuv did with HMs being plot devices is something i never liked. First of all, the concept of HM moves is stupid in a serious story driven game. Why do i need a fucking badge and a HM to get on my lapras and cross a body of water when it is something that the pokemon does naturally? I'm glad Clockwork avoided this.

"Here, let me help you with the baggage", Horace said to Elias, seeing as he was probably the most physically fit there for this job.
-
And this is the breaking up of the short-lived relationship with Wall-senpai.
Would it be hard to ask for actually competent underlings of a great villain for a change? Just to see how much the player would struggle if that was the case.
-
Shit man, that grim forshadowing... I can't wait xD
About rorim B, yeah Jan thought it would be funny if he memed and put only ludicolos just to reference Mirror B. Though it only lasted 1 version, since i fought him in v10 and his team was actually pretty competent.

@Caz Your post is music to my ears. Good to know you are doing fine. Med school is demanding, so cool thing you tend to that! We are not going anywhere and we have lives too so don't push yourself more than would be healthy

Horace looked back to Elias with a terrified look, followed by bringing his hand just above his forehead as he was saying "I will have to ask James some questions".
He narrowed his eyes towards Adara, muttering "so much about gender equality" before pocketing Magnum back in the coat and climbing the carriage. Although he dared to ask towards his host's direction. "Right... Hello Auley... how exactly are you affiliated with the agency?"

You are completely accurate on everything you just said. Times are changing, and so is the community. As people like us are getting older, there's not a lot of time to do anything. Remember when I said I was gonna play Pokemon again? I find it really, really, really hard to these days. Sure, Pokemon is one of the things I think about on an everyday basis, but when there's so much to do, there's not a lot of time to actually sit down and do something productive with it, whether it's playing the games, making your own, etc. Both school and work have been beating me down, beating me down, never letting up, to the point where if I even try to do anything Pokemon related, I just lose all motivation and just play something else. I keep thinking to myself, "Yeah, I'll make my game", or "Yeah, I'll sit down and beat Ultra Moon and the rest of the games I own", or "Yeah, I'll make that playthrough of Reborn and Rejuv", but then I just don't. Like you, I just don't have any motivation anymore.
Gen VIII is going to have to be really great if I want to be motivated again, but I just cannot see how that will be possible when everything is going to be changed, depending on how it is going to be. I am worried for not only the community we have here, but for the Pokemon Community as a whole. The demographic is changing, the game is changing (Seriously, there is just too much of Gen VII in Reborn now. 7.7/10) Everything is changing, and I feel like if it keeps up that way, then Pokemon as we know it will never be the same as it once was.
Now I might get a little sentimental when I say this (And perhaps a suck-up, but who cares?), but I just want to say that you are one of the most inspiring, passionate, and greatest people that I have ever met in Reborn. I am just so glad to have the chance to work with you, from the old days of Revolution to Reborn Hardcore. Because of you, I got to learn quite a bit of new information about RPG Maker XP, what it takes to make a good story (Although I'm still working on how I can make a good story for my game without going overboard), and because of that, I'll be able to take it all to heart. You actually care about RPGs like Pokemon, and its community (Even though the community is declining). Reborn might not be the same as it was years ago, but I just want you to know that you made a legacy. You made a legacy that is just so... Hardcore, in a sense. Even if there's never going to be a fully-fledged hard mode for Reborn (Tried twice, might I add), that legacy is going to be around for quite a long time. Perhaps even inspired others to try and fulfill that legacy, too...
(Even if I wanted to though, I would likely have my hands tied. I mean, I couldn't even do the Pokemon leagues that I signed up for!)
In all seriousness though, take all the time you need and rest easy. You have done a great job, and when you do find that motivation, we'll all be here for you. Whether Reborn makes it to the end, or it gets CnD'd, just know that it's been one wild, crazy, hell of a ride.
Hey man, i hate to break the sentimental atmosphere, but since i get you didn't read the posts after that one, he's back at it, albeit with a different policy than before.

Horace resisted raising an eyebrow and answered with a straight face. "I was merely looking for a suggestion for someone with more experience, sir, but that's correct. The two criminals should be currently getting prepared for interrogation. They have also been mentally prepared beforehand for the task so it should go relatively smoothly."
