  1. For a good moment Cathode was left gawking at what used to be a weak little timid fish.  Of course she knew magikarp evolves into gyarados, and of course she expected Terry to also evolve one day, but this did little to prevent her reaction.  And what a perfect timing this was. She gently touched the coiled great serpent's side and caressed it.  Differently from her Suzie, she felt a rough yet slippery surface at the same time. And it was pulsating with power. "Look at you, Terry, you're big and strong now! Must feel great, doesn't it?" Terry responded by letting out a gentle roar, then lowering his head towards Cathode, mouth stereotypically open.  Anyone's guess might have as well been that he was about to devour the small girl. But he instead extended a whisker and attempted to pat Cathode on the head, but he miscalculated his newfound strength and ended up forcing her to fall in the sand. The whole process was harmless though, since both his whisker and the sand were pretty soft. To Cathode at least, because Terry's mentality was severely wounded by this as he panickely wobbled left and right roaring apologetically.  Cathode could only laugh at this though. "Hehehehe I'm fine don't worry, but try to control your strength okay? Suzie can teach you."
It was then that she saw the change in the despicable ghost's posture,  which now looked frightened, no, angry, and spouting some spiteful memories about gyarados having gone berserk in the past. She also  seemed to be catching some breath after taking a battle stance. Cathode took that as a chance to give her a piece of her mind before the inevitable clash. "Hey meanie, Gyarados are just like any other pokemon! Almost every time I've seen a pokemon go berserk it was a human's fault. Juuuuust like those Gyarados you sent earlier!. So don't go blaming the pokemon!. Or the rest of the island!"

She wasn't sure why did she feel the strength to be cheeky when they were in a very dire situation. Maybe it was because she was next to the now evolved Terry, who seemed to had joined her in her accusations, by roaring angrily at Omega. It felt it was how it should be to her.  She helped terry gain strength, now Terry was lending her his own. He was a bit overzealous in his judgmental glare on Omega though, because he ended up subconsciously utilizing that as an actual offensive move. Hies eyes glowed a gold-ish hue.

  2. Emm was faster at answering the call, so Cathode just listened to the call from his side.  After accessing the information she had received from both "Uno" and Rita, Cathode had a better picture of what might be going on. The thinking also seemed to temporarily nullify her usual stuttering. "....You definitely aren't Uno. You are just like that ghost girl, Alpha and you probably deceived her with promises of being able to dance! Her body being able to dance will be meaningless if it's not herself doing the dancing!" She then said to everyone in general, "Also i think the Claydols being ground types, probably have something to do with the earth splitting."   What even is going on down there... She wondered. There was also the problem in which Suzie was not in a good condition for another grueling battle, Terry had close to nonexistent battle capabilities, and the other Gyarados proved to be more detrimental to their side than the opponent's. This is bad.

She turned to the new cadets who had come as reinforcements. "Did you get supplied with any restoration items before you got sent here?"

Shortly after her question though, she was distracted by Terry, whose coloration was becoming increasingly faded, towards bright white. She had noticed something was off with his colors ever since the battle was over, but she thought she was just tired from the battle.  Terry on the other hand, didn't seem fazed in the least about his situation.  "Terry are you okay?"

  3. I am so getting irked by this way of thinking where if the game seems like it can't be nuzlocked without many losses, these guys are more willing to just quit the game instead of just dropping the nuzlocke rules.
Even if the pulse camel was a thing in canon, why would he criticize a boss pokemon that hits very hard but is slow as balls, so negatively

  4. Cathode was standing on the spot, her mouth agape, staring at the figure that was Uno, while at the same time, not.  "Wh-wha? Why do you sound so different Uno?" and then as what she heard registered in her brain, she continued the question with "d-did you just admit you tried to k-kill us?"

Granted, Uno had been unstable in various aspects ever since the tree of life debacle, but Cathode never expected her to develop like this.

She then also registered that Uno had just performed some quite superhuman feats.  "...and you just split the earth in two... how?"

  5. defog is shoved in my face everytime competitive is bringed up so its hard to forget it nowadays.

wew that was one shitty adventure there,  with likewise shitty rewards.  i guess you got ONE tm and... that was it actually i think.

at least it ended in the high note of melia getting slapped. beggars can't be chosers!

im curious on how will you cope with the bullshit signature move erick has

  6. "Wh-what?" Cathode took a step back suprised, even if she had expected the possibility of this happening.  Her legs wanted to give out but she knew completely collapsing would have been the last mistake of her life. The gyarados' pokeball was still in her hand, which was fortunate because she would surely clumsily fumble for it in her panic and probably drop it. She wasted no time in clicking the recall button.  "Re-return!"

  7. "Sorry for risking to call you back out when you are so weakened, but its part of a strategy"  Cathode said to the coiled-up snake around her. Through the rocky gaps she saw one of the Gyarados launching itself to attack her as soon as she was out.

"And now i i have to recall you for the next part" she said fast while she was already pushing the luxury ball button mid-sentense.  And then one big serpent was replaced for another, keeping Cathode shielded from harm. "I'm sorry for this, but you're probably asleep so you won't feel it...  but if you can somehow hear me this time, use Thrash! please!"

She wished its overwhelming sudden presence would affect their opponents morale yet again.

  8. "Righ.. I had forgotten it was asleep..."  Cathode mumbled,  and wondered what to do.   There was obviously not much choice apart from waiting out the sleepiness.  But then,  when she had  sent out the serpent,  she had noticed the opposing gyaradoses had reacted to it, and were pretty intimidated.  Could it be that the sudden appearence of such a vicious creature was enough to mentally discourage them even if it was sleeping?  What if it was going to happen again?  Would it work despite being the same creature making a sudden appearance?

In the end she decided that the risk was about as much as trying to pray for luck to wake up her gyarados. She lifted her ball and recalled it,  and sent Suzie out again.  She figured if the gyarados reappeared immediately after being recalled, its intimidation wouldn't have as much of an effect.

The weary rock snake eyed her curiously, for she seemed more  thoughtful than battle-ready.

"Sorry for not letting you rest yet, you will be back shortly, I'm just trying something out..."

  9. While you were caught up with the events in the Glass Gauntlet, Elias was free to act unhindered.

As you stumble upon the Subjeven Sanctum after your latest near-death experience that you could very well describe as  "Hell",  you find out....

This is a custom battle I made, that the player can fight in the Subseven Sanctum after they finish before they engage Solaris in Agate City, or after.  Although they will have an easier time doing it after Hardy, since the levels are 95s.

The fight's difficulty is pretty much extreme, and unfair, since it is made with Memeborn's philosophy, so go there prepared.

Backup your trainers.dat. You will want to restore it afterwards because this one is from an old Memeborn version.  Then dump both of these files into your Data folder.

    Have fun :    ^)

  10. Cathode could only watch in shock and horror at what was happening to Suzie.   It was not the first time that she would be on the losing edge, but it had never been in such a brutal way. She might have shrieked during the whole moment, or she might have not. She wouldn't be able to tell herself.

She tried to use her pokeball to return the snake before she hit the beach rocks, but she had failed to aim properly.

When she finally managed to adjust the aim properly, Suzie was groveling on the side of the rocks. She returned her without wasting a second.

Her knees had become weak and trembling, but she didnt dare try to fall on the ground, lest she become an easier target.  There was only one thing she could do in this situation, and she wasn't sure about the repercussions.

Nevertheless  she ran towards and picked up the pokeball in which the Gyarados was unceremoniously caught,  and  threw it towards the other serpents.

"P-please use Thrash!"  She commanded the emerging serpentine form.

  11. While the result was for the most part successful, Cathode did not appreciate at all the negatives that came with it.  Suzie took an unprecedented amount of damage from a single bite, and they had lost their foothold.

They were already in too deep though so she clutched her opposide side with one hand for reassurement, while putting the other one on Suzie. "The longer we stay, the better. Hang on a bit longer. Just gotta keep covering Nicaea, so keep doing what you were doing."

The snake had gotten the grasp by now, and she was actually getting pretty intimidated by all the other serpents eyeing her, so going on the defensive felt just right for her. She used another Curse, and Cathode's Defender also activated.

Cathode saw Emanuel throw a ball on the sleeping Gyarados, and she thought that in their hopeless situation, any chance to reduce the enemy count, was a viable tactic. So she did just the same and after shakily getting back on her feet, took a pose and threw an aether ball on the other sleeping gyarados, hoping for the best. Maybe getting captured would lift their frenzy and  empowerment.

It was at that moment that she saw that they were not alone, as three  new people, obviously cadets, had come and commanded their own partners to attack the gyaradoses.  Individually they didn't seem like much, but maybe as a combined team they would be able to dish some meaningful damage.

She tried to address the strangers normally, but her familiar nervousness encompassed her. "I-I haven't seen you before, b-but I'm so gl-glad that you g-guys came!" She shouted at them, and immediately got embarrased at her own self, and and looked down on the ground as if waiting for it to tell her how to fix her awful first impression.

At least I know who one of the beta testers are, since they just revealed V12's cover on one of their monotype runs.

yeah thanks for noticing.  i made that shit unlisted.   at least the part of the picture that rng decided to show was just a little bigger version of the part than what revealed.

    fucking soft-reset

  13. Having been used to Suzie all this time, Cathode was not as intimidated as a girl her age should have been at the sight of 2 of these gigantic sea serpents.  But this didn't mean she didn't recognize their significant threat. She also realized that the more of them that keep coming, the more pressured Suzie will feel, and her attacks would lose their edge, so she would be more useful the longer she lasts as a protection for others to deal the damage.

"We need to keep them off as long as we can, girl, just keep it up." She said to Suzie, who did as ordered, while giving a dirty look to her adversary.

Also Emm ordering a Sleep Powder made her think it would be a good idea in their endeavor to last longer, so she took out her spray and aimed at the gyarados that was about to bite Suzie.  Maybe that would give her some more time to beef up without getting hit.
