not all the fields are from reborn; there's some unique ones (e.g. cloud field)

i'd report it here / to Caz, and if it's a reborn field that has a bug, i'd test it out in reborn first to see if it exists in reborn before reporting it in bug reporting

The problem is that it is the starlight arena which I don't think I can test in reborn.

  2. I decided to intent to save Nova but failed in the run that fits my thoughts. Even though I don't believe in the feasability of her goals and she did some unforgivable things (from what I saw, I still have to unluck the archive door in my other runs but breeding first). Her death is not the answer. I mean Nova at least has good intentions and she keeps some unknown variables in check.

Is there any way I can get a link stone or something to evolve haunter?

And is there a place in which I can evolve magneton?

    Spoiler

You can get a link stone from an old man just after silverrise mountain.

In Celai city is a power plant with a locked room, unlock it and you should be able to evolve your magneton.

Does anyone know where the secret vendors are located?

    Spoiler

I only found the stone vendor, you can fin it after flushing down the gang and saving the traiter for garret. There is an hiker in that room, that is the vendor.

Sorry for the double posting, the question was entered afetr I started on my first response.

This is the thing, the nudge to use something that is not the first choice you would make.  Can even cost less credits.

The problem is that if credits weren't limitted at that point, I would aggree. However the problem is that the credits are limitted at that point and you don't know what stuff is comming up, you might miss that sunny day tm you want to have for your sun team or that leftovers down the line. The potential of these credits are too big too "waste it" on a voltorb.

Hey how about that pre-Aderyn magnemite gets replaced with a Voltorb?  This way people can get to try their hands on an electric type they wouldn't really use in any other case!

Would you use credits for a voltorb? Honestly I wouldn't . Especially since you only use it because it is a lightning type against the upcomming flying gym. I know electrode isn't terrible, but is not fantastic either.

So far i have beaten 20 normal trainers and battled 4 elite trainers. first time against the flying gym leader, second time against amelia, third time against the grand rogue, and the forth time again against the flying gym leader but after my second fight with her i went to the judge and nothing happened. No reward and no quest triggered.

Pretty sure you need to beat 5 elites.

Does anybody know where i can get deino ?

I've been looking for him but can't seem to find him.

    Help please ?

    Spoiler

beat enough elite trainers in the underground battle circuit in cellia and then talk to the judge. The quest starts from there.

Correct. I absolutely loved this music - hence why I used it for her battle, it seemed fairly fitting. Definitely search up the song itself rather than using what's in the files - the battle theme isn't the full track that you find online.

    A small note:

Something I find very amusing is how most players follow a very particular route, and plan it beforehand (involving the key) in pursuit of a "perfect" ending. I think it should be known now: Immediately, some endings may seem better than others, but in the long run, each outcome of Episode 4 will be beneficial in its own right. I implore players to follow their own choices rather than using the forums to achieve a so called "perfect" ending - as Desolation reaches its conclusion, you will find that no such thing exists.

Well, funny I do pick my endings after my first run which I do blind. After that I plan my endings of the other 2 runs just to see the "full" game. Ah well for the perfect ending, I kinda saw that comming since you make choices that are not really good or bad. Even though all that, I think that most people are not pursuing a "perfect ending", they are pursuing the "best ending" based on personal feelings/preferences.

Sooo... how do I begin the Arceus sidequest that some people are talking about?!

    Spoiler

Well you first need to help the girl just before blackview city, by taking her photo quest. Then you have to help her get a swasbuck and then you have to talk to her before the temple.

  9. Well, I finished this episode today (slower then expected but my team needed improvement). So time for a review while my opinions are still fresh (contains spoilers):

    Spoiler

Well the episode was good storywise: the decision was really tough and the consequence was surprising. The ending was extremely well written and made feel, i found E3 ending better but maybe it was because of the surprise factor that the previous one was better. The way the story progressed was nice as well so I'm very happy, in that regard. Cellia is a beautifull city which feels alive in a sense. It has story, it has different aspects. It is not a monotone city with some npc's that give quests and items so hats tipped for that. The manor is a nice touch. the fact that we get a home base is really nice.

Even though the majority was good there are some 'bad' things: majorily movesets and generosity. Well some movesets suck: quick/wide guard in singles, poison sting on roserade/nidoqueen/nidoking,gust on volcarona,... . the worst one was coil on a contrary serperior. Mind you I don't mind creative or funny sets but when I fight a lvl 70 nidoking and I see a poison sting then I m dissapointed. Generosity is a bit strange but right now I feel too much good stuff is given. I wouldn't mind if some good stuff was locked behind credits or quests and you had too choose carefully what you want but I have credits to spare without trying and i think you can grind them eternally. Also getting sludge bomb and flash cannon (which got field boosted) before a fight with a fairy gym leader is a bit too good, same with focus blast in a beach field. As a few small remarks about the manor shop, I won't use it as often simply because it lacks the basic vendor also the tables with the notes annoy me.

All in all the episode was very good. I enjoyed it a lot and thank you very much.

    Spoiler

    RIP: Nova.

Caz, you glorious bastard, I don't know if I should hug you or kill you for that ending. That list line made a wreck: I'm shivering and I don't think I'm going to sleep well anytime soon. I don't think mindfucked is a good description, since I had a strong suspicion he was a ghost. But this, this I can't even comprehend. So yeah congratulations for adding a whole new incomprehensible experience in my gaming life. Believe me, very few games have added a whole new experience to it, you're the first to make it incomprehensible.

Gonna say now, you're going to be asking for more music sources soon. :D

Even though Desolation was put on hold for about 6-8 months... Caz came out of it as a much better writer and scenario designer. You all are in for a hell of a ride. If you thought Episode 3 was intense, ya'll haven't seen anything yet.

Welp, time to die of a heart attack.
