How many badges do you have at this point, because you go up and down that route a couple times around that point of the game

Depends since you can access the forest before or after Radomus' gym  If you exit the forest and go all the way to the right, you'll find Radomus' mansion, but it could also be that you're going to a cave which is all the way to the left and down... hope that helped haha
