I really like Jellicent so
Mega Jellicent
Water/Ghost
Magic Guard
HP: 100
Attack: 60 -> 60
Defense: 70 -> 110
Sp. Attack: 85 -> 120
Sp. Defense: 105 -> 130
Speed: 60 -> 70
More bulk and more power were obvious, and I just added the last 10 EVs to Speed because wynaut. Magic Guard is handy since it means Jellicent doesn't take damage from Toxic, making it harder to whittle down.

How exactly does a mega stone work on a Pokemon that can't mega evolve? Would for example giving Dragonite an Ampharosite make it become Mega Ampharos somehow? o . o
The Other Metagame of the Month was called Mix-and-Mega, and you could put almost any Mega Stone on any Pokemon (there was a ban list). They could get new Abilities, new typings, and stat increases, although they wouldn't become the Mega itself. However, it was the OMM for February and isn't there anymore right now.

I'll be excited for version 3 to come out~
Meanwhile, I've just beaten Desolation on this save file. I've been trying to catch every Pokemon available (meaning I'll have to grind everything I have), and so far, all I'm missing are Pichu and Yanma from the Labyrinth, Elekid (I want to keep my Aron for on my team so I'll have to wait until breeding is available), and all the Credits Shop Pokemon since I used up all of my Credits already.
EDIT: Oh, and Burmy on Route 2, although nobody likes Burmy.
Pokedex: 57 / 176
My current team:

Creme (Lv. 34)
Intimidate
- Crunch
- Dig
- Return
- Sand Attack
Red Velvet (Lv. 36)
Blaze
- Mystical Fire
- Psyshock
- Psybeam
- Light Screen
Green Tea (Lv. 32)
Damp (I couldn't find a Water Absorb / Unaware one with good IVs)
- Return
- Water Gun
- Mud Shot
- Yawn
Mud Pie (Lv. 34) @ Expert Belt
Dry Skin
- Rock Smash
- Ice Punch
- Sucker Punch
- Swagger
Mint Choco (Lv. 35)
Reckless
- Aerial Ace
- Quick Attack
- Take Down
- Close Combat
...And a shiny Teddiursa for Pickup, I guess.
Hardest fight I had so far was definitely Aderyn, that Emolga kept flinching me and that Honchkrow liked to sweep my team. Unfortunately, I had no Electric or Rock type moves, and my only Ice move was on Croagunk, which was weak to literally everything. (By the way, thanks for the egg moves on Croagunk <3)
Runner up might be Scarlett, since I was a bit underleveled and that Minccino swept my team after everything that could've taken care of it fainted.

Something minor, I decided to revisit Keneph Cave (?) since I was nearby talking to Scarlett and Connor, and Lyra is still at the gate saying to go follow Connor. Shouldn't she be back in the village with her husband or something?

Winrar, the Unarchiver, or any other program that can make a .rar file a .exe file should be used, and then you should be able to play it.

I'm quite certain all the error causing music has been removed. But in case, delete all .mid files in the audio folder.
Alright, thanks!

Okay, redownloading and replaying this on my new Mac.
Just wondering before I get into this, are there any known sound effects / music that might crash my game, since I'm using Wine? Or is everything safe?

Where do you go in order to fix the Snag Machine and be able to catch Shadow Pokemon again?
Someone will fix the Snag Machine for you when you get to that part in the story, won't say more because spoilers. So just keep playing for now! Luckily, you can catch most of the Shadow Pokemon you missed using Dr Jenkel's time machine.

I like the sprites a lot, especially Connor, since he doesn't remind me of Fern as much. Excited to see protagonists~

Ayyy, grats/welcome back Tacps!!!

Well, it certainly has been a while since this thread got posted in, but it's in the Fan Club Directory so...
Water Monotype in White 2:
Rules:
- Only allowed to use Pokemon of a Water typing (but can catch Pokemon of other typings if special / for HMs)
- Only allowed to use regular Pokeballs
- Cannot get wiped out
- Playing on regular mode because I forgot how to set it to or just to Challenge Mode oops
- Nicknames after Greek Gods
Standard stuff because I'm not a masochist besides maybe the second one, which is just because I like having my team use the same type of Pokeballs.Current Team:
Badges: 5 (Currently at Pokemon World Tournament)
Poseidon ~ Lv. 31
Dionysus ~ Lv. 29
Artemis ~ Lv. 33
Athena ~ Lv. 26
Aphrodite ~ Lv. 24
I'd totally have a Panpour but like 10% chance? In RUSTLING GRASS??? lol no that's actually worse than getting Eevee and Panpour isn't worth it
Also my team is kinda grossly underleveled so I'm attempting to grind it so that Poseidon, Dionysus, and Aphrodite will actually evolve. I'm sorta dreading Chargestone Cave after the whole Elesa business
Oh and how have I not found a Old Rod yet??? I dunno when you get it in B2W2 but it's already the fifth Gym???
edit: ...Gen 5 only has the Super Rod.
Some small notes about my current run I had:
- Cheren and Roxie weren't too hard, tbh, although it was mainly just Poseidon fighting them since Artemis WOULDN'T EVOLVE
- Then I realized that Psyduck was available and I never knew about it because like... I've never heard of anyone using a Psyduck in B2W2??? It would've been good for Roxie with Confusion...
- Dionysus was a pain to find, but Athena oh my god it took me like three hours to find a Eevee and I ran out of money for Repels
- Artemis became trans
- Burgh wasn't too bad, since Artemis with Return was able to beat Leavanny.
- ELESA OMG Flaaffy and Zebstrika went down quickly since Emolga kept Volt Switching into those, but Poseidon was paralyzed, Dionysus fainted, and Artemis was low on health. Luckily Athena's Sand Attack spam actually managed to work, and Artemis was able to finally beat it!
- 2 Water Stones get from the Multi-Battle Subway (I love how strong Rosa is <3)
- Aphrodite became the first permanent female member of the team
- Clay was easy. Ground VS Water. RIP.
Mrr... Maybe I'll just make a thread for this...

give reset or riot

This is gonna sound like a really dumb question, but how do I apply the update exactly? This is the first time I've played a game like Rejuvenation and I really don't know how games like this work.
Just download the new version and play in that folder rather than the old (you can even delete the old version folder). Your game file will be intact because it's saved somewhere else on your computer.
EDIT: ninja :[

hrm thanks, interesting, guess i'll put them both back in on my first playthrough.
another question how do i purify beldum? do i need to use that thing in the lab where i can go back to previous events to catch shadow pokemon?
You have to set all of the purification chambers to max tempo. This can be achieved the fastest by putting a bunch of Normal-type Pokemon in the chambers. The only thing you have to do after that is put Beldum in one of the chambers, after that it should purify over time in the Purifying Chamber you put it in.
Oh, thanks for reminding me to add this.

dont know if i should make a new topic of this so ill ask here, when breeding with ditto dose it matter that gender the other pokemon is? i've reset many times in my second playthrugh and i cant seem to get the phantump to be male or am i missing something with breeding? (never done it before and im after the mystery egg for the boy that wants a phantump egg)
Doesn't matter what the gender of the other Pokemon is (although why do you want a male, exactly? The female parent determines what Pokemon the Egg will be.)

Can someone explain something about the ending to me? Again, massive spoilers ahead.
Why did your partner have to disappear? I get that they're the reincarnation of Mew, but they're still the Pokemon that Mew was reincarnated to. Why did they have to go? It doesn't even feel like a heroic sacrifice since it happens after the world is saved. In the other games, it happens, but it's to the player and they know it's going to happen. I just don't understand why it happened.
I guess it's just because the partner/Mew finished their job, to beat Dark Matter once and for all? I dunno. But it does make PSMD stand out from the other PMD games.

Not sure if it's meant to go here, but in the field effects manual, it wasn't listed that Moonblast can change the haunted field into a blessed field. Nothing too major but I figure it should be pointed out. ^^;;
This should probably go in Bug Reporting, but thanks for reporting it! :]

Is it not possible to breed tm moves onto pokemon anymore? I tried to breed swords dance onto my torchic but it did not have it so I am assuming most of the recommended sets are now void if this is true.
Download E12, which has Gen 5 breeding mechanics (meaning TM breeding). There's a link in the first post.

Mega Miltank
Normal
Serene Grace
HP: 95
Atk: 80 -> 100
Def: 105 -> 105
SpA: 40 -> 70
SpD: 70 -> 110
Spe: 100 -> 110
Miltank gets a whole lot of nice moves that have secondary effects, so wynaut make it stand out as the fastest Serene Grace abuser? 110 Speed outspeeds quite a few Pokemon with investment. I boosted Special Defense a bit, so it's not quite too weak to special moves now. I also gave Miltank a boost to Attack, as most of its good moves (Body Slam, Rock Slide, Iron Head, Zen Headbutt, Stomp, Elemental punches, etc.) are physical, but also gave it a boost to Special Attack since it does get some nice special moves like Blizzard and Thunder.
Enjoy your hax~ :]]]
