Ok im doing a ranger quest and im trying to look for a guy on route 4 and cant find him can anyone help?
Which Ranger quest are you doing? The one about the thief?
If so, in one of the houses, there will be a person who tells you how the thief went to Blackview City.

In blackview city, at the docks, there is a spot where you can fish with a gourmet snack, you can find one there.

Aderyn did mention someone would be waiting for us, but mentioned it was a she. This is the first clue that Tristan is an imposter. The character that is meant to find you... we haven't met yet.
Really got to make a spoiler thread. Curiosity always gets the better of us especially when we only need to click a little spoiler tag. If you haven't played the Episode then avoid clicking spoiler tags like the plague, for your own sake.

Who had Scarlett die? I'm very curious, tbh.
I personally did not get the ending where Scarlett dies, for choosing to give the stone to Nova but also stopping Scarlett from finishing her task (as I suspected it would end with her dying, seeing how we were on the tallest building in Blackview).

Caz, you glorious bastard, I don't know if I should hug you or kill you for that ending. That list line made a wreck: I'm shivering and I don't think I'm going to sleep well anytime soon. I don't think mindfucked is a good description, since I had a strong suspicion he was a ghost. But this, this I can't even comprehend. So yeah congratulations for adding a whole new incomprehensible experience in my gaming life. Believe me, very few games have added a whole new experience to it, you're the first to make it incomprehensible.

I definitely had a suspicion that he was strange, especially since he was so unusual just before we battle him, asking about your dream, but tbh I didn't expect him to be a ghost. I also wonder what happens to our Badge, since it's not real...
Also, Azery and I were talking about something else - Aderyn. She said somebody would be waiting for us, but it isn't really specified who... She could've been talking about Tristan, who found the player on the mountain, but I wonder why she would be able to see him when the others don't. She also could've been talking about someone we have yet to meet...
Anyway, I just realized there's a Staryu event that I have yet to find... If someone does know where it is, it would be nice if you could tell me~

How would I go about EV training my team? Is there a way I can reset their EVs? Or would I have to breed and level everything from scratch?
EV reducing berries are sold on the eighth floor of the Obsidia Dept. Store, so you'd need seven stickers.

Even after you fight Emily, the girl in the hat near the west entrance of the market still says Emily's missing. Edit: So does that little boy who is near the meet Rosetta tournament qualifier thing, the building with the black triangle.
Emolga's missing from the Obtainable Pokemon list (just found it). Edit: Goldeen and Tentacool, as well.
Might as well mention Sena can be just as buggy as Tristan.
also if someone finds dwebble, spearow, and stunfisk tell me, k :x

I'll be making a progress report of my completionist run eventually, once I find the last few wild Pokemon I have yet to find (most of them being on Bronze Island >>).
Also apparently I was the only beta tester to get a certain ending, teehee~
But Caz changed some stuff around here and there so I guess more people will be able to get my ending too.

For those wondering, I actually helped design two of the sidequests in this episode. One can be completed start to finish before the 4th gym (although it will require advancing the main plot to a certain point). The other can be thought of as Desolation's version of the Reborn Magikarp sidequest, although it's not clear what the ultimate prize is. Some will probably be able to guess, though.
I know what the first one is, but which one is the other? owoI've only not done one side quest so far... -
Teach your Braixen Fire Pledge from the Move Tutor in Lapis Ward, and you can use it to burn Shelly's Forest Field, turning it into a Burning Field. It will stop giving her Pokemon boosts, while boosting the power of your Fire moves.
Also, when Yanmega comes out, you might want to try paralyzing it with Spark's high chance of paralysis, as it will become less of a threat then.
That's pretty much all of the advice I can really give, since Shelly becomes much easier once her Field turns into a Burning Field.

Oh, I should mention that while you all are waiting for Episode 3, I've noted during testing that it's very, very easy to hit the level cap for the 4th gym long before you actually get to challenge it, assuming you're the type of person that likes to clear every sidequest possible before challenging the gym. Consider training one or two additional Pokemon throughout the course of the episode if you want to use as few Common Candies as possible, especially after the 3rd gym. Those extra Pokemon will definitely help you out in the long term. (I trained THREE extras and I still had to use a few Common Candies... And I don't regret it. I actually needed those three to beat the 4th gym.)
If there aren't any Episode 1-2 Pokemon that interest you enough to make plans to train those, don't fret. The Episode 3 Pokemon selection is MASSIVE.
I agree; after doing most of the side quests and about none of the plot, half of my main team is already above the level cap and the other three are just nearing it. I wasn't expecting that due to not being so leveled when going to fight the third Gym... Luckily, I have a couple of Pokemon (and by that I mean a third of a PC box) I've been wanting to use but never had the chance to grind up (although one of them is also already above the level cap due to a certain side quest).

Well, I'm hoping that you'll have Mega Flygon in Desolation, too, seeing how it was supposed to be in ORAS. I don't have any concepts or anything for it, though, so I won't PM a suggestion.

So, I'm doing a second run of the game to solve all of the puzzles
(and be evil)I'm at the braille cave and I've run into a problem (spoiler for people who haven't solved it yet)
I've gone around Center/NE/SW/SE/NW/NE and so on for about 4 or 5 repititions, but the message in the northwest corner stays the same. I think I'm doing something wrong, but I've got no idea what that is.

It seems like Mid-Tier Goods are on the fifth floor and Consumable Items are on the fourth floor in E15, so those sections just have to be switched.

Kay, I've captured every single non-Credit Shop Pokemon that's name isn't Elekid~
but I don't have a male Burmy to evolve into a Mothim...Can't wait for better Audino Trainers in version 3 so that grinding everything so they evolve will be easier ;-;

Pichu and Yanma are both found in the Celeste Grotto (the area before the clouds) but their encounter rate is crazy low, similarly to Starly. Burmy are found on Route 2. None of these Pokemon's encounters are affected by the time of day.
Ah, okay, thanks. I still wonder how I have yet to found a Burmy >>
Anyway, I have about 80 Pokemon in my Pokedex now? Those Audino Trainers are really helpful since they spam Healing Wish when you send out a Ghost type <3

Maybe some Ability Capsule quests? I'd like to get some free ones since I used up all of my Credits already and can't switch my Staraptor's and Quagsire's Abilities :[
idk about this next part but maybe having a mode where some Pokemon get buffed? It would make me want to use some of the worse Pokemon, like Ledian. You could implement new Abilities and other new features in it as well!

Tristan was actually really easy for me...
Exploud was the hardest Pokemon on his team for me, as he kept killing everything if I didn't use Light Screen turn 1.
Mega Lopunny was easily dealt with because Aggron's Protect made him miss High Jump Kicks, killing it, and his other Pokemon were also dealt with by STABs, even with the Fighting nerf.
Emily was harder imo, even with 2 Ground types...
Brass Key can be used for the house on Silver Rise peak. idk about Shiny Key, but there's also a Froslass in the place where you get the Shiny Key.
