It's hard to host a smash tournament when we only have one participant. And Nonary games are a lot of work for effort that doesn't always pay off.

Yo! I've been trying new things to keep the "Slammin' Jams" good and wholesome! This year I am going to do this recommendation thread thing. So if you got a song you would like to hear share it here. However keep the following in mind.
- Please keep your song in spoilers
- Be sure to know that a song may not be played right away or be given priority. The playlists are organized in a particular way and song recommendations will be organized into the play list in a very nitpick-y way.
- I would like people to put what part of the world they are in when they request songs. I am going to be making several playlists that will play throughout the party. It would be good to have certain songs play when the request-ee is present.
- Your song may not make the cut, this thread is for recommendations, not demands. The version of the song you request may also not be chosen for the playlist.
- A song may not make the cut if it is a bit off. If a request seems like something that would make someone uncomfortable it may not make the pick.

There is also the possibility that multiple people will request their favorite version or remix of the same song. Unfortunately, I may only have room for one or two of them. We don't have room for 30 remixes of Megalovania. I know you think your version is the best, but we can't be playing them all.
Also my favorite remix of Megalovania is clearly the best. - Try to keep the music you share "Party focused". I'm sure that there are songs you heard in a game or anime that gave you the feels, but that is probably for a different thread or a different time. Slammin' Jams playlists are for happy times, not sad times.
- You are responsible for what you share. If a song has rule breaking content such as derogatory language or disrespectful content, your song will absolutely not only be rejected, but you may receive a warning point as well.

Toxic isn’t always being an asshat. Toxic can also come from being nice. The concept of “being toxic” is that you are encouraging negative or detrimental behavior. If you tell someone “YOU FUCKING SUCK” it hurts that person’s feelings and demotivates them. However if you tell someone “you are doing a great job” when they are either not performing the best or doing something fundamentally wrong, you can be seen as encouraging them to never seek improvement. Therefore they are having their minds poisoned to think nothing is wrong.
I’m guessing what he meant by toxic is that they only allow positive feedback? Idk if the banning people for constructive criticism thing has any grounds... but tbf who wants people in your community that does nothing but complain or shit talk? I’ve been lurking the Temtem server for a long while and I’ve never seen or heard anything about it being toxic. It does however attract certain types of people.Lastly I haven’t put a ton of time into the game yet, from what I’ve played I’m incredibly mixed.

Nothing says that you cannot use the word trap to describe actual traps. The following examples are fine.
”I was playing Pokémon Reborn and I fell for the Nuzleaf trap. How do I escape it?”
”My favorite character in Smash is Snake! I enjoy using his traps!”
”I am having issues in my life and I feel trapped and scared.”
That is using the word like how it was originally intended and that’s fine. Whats not ok is something like;
”I was talking to this cute girl, and I was going to ask her out, but I found out that she was a trap!”
”I used to think Naoto in Persona was a cool guy, but then I found out that it was a trap! lol”
Those statements aren’t using the word in an innocent way but are instead using it as a slur to insult those who went through a transgender process in their life. Being a constant target for bullying and oppression is going beyond someone simply being “sensitive”.
It’s also worth noting that saying that you aren’t offended by identifying as a White Male Hetro Human doesn’t prove any points. If anything it states that you aren’t a target of any popular derogatory slurs. It’s not nearly as a scary world for a Straight White Guy as it is for for some who is, let’s say, a Gay Black Furry, a transgender Latino/a, or a mentally handicap Native American.
Just because a person doesn’t find something offensive, doesn’t mean it’s not. In our community we value the importance of the concept of respect. That is why it is and will forever be, Rule 1.

You also may have asked "What's different about this party from the other?" or "How can you read my mind!?!" or "I never thought such thing...." And I have some answers to some of those questions! For the Winter Party we will be hosting more Winter-y events themed around holidays like Christmas and New Years. As for our Summer Social, we will focus more on the idea of fun in the

Your Senpai, Godot-Kami, will be droppin' some sick sick beats to your auditory lobes of the 11th level! Of course I am not a total dictator, I do take requests, just keep in mind to that whatever you should request is fun, summer-y, and hype. There have been a few times in the past where I try to dj some hip hip beats and people are like YO PLAY US SOME DEPRESSING ANIME SONG THAT GIVES ME ALL THE QQ FEELZ! and it's like Y?!?! This is a time to be happy daaaaaawg! Also make sure the song requests are reasonably timed. We've had some peeps drop us the 30 minute extended versions of songs or stealthily slide us whole 1-2 hour long albums and are like PLAY ALL OF IT >=[
It's also worth to keep in mind that I will be giving priority to new requests, so if you request like 10 songs and someone new jumps in, they will get first dibs.
It's also worth noting that even gods such as myself will be needing some rest, so we may have some substitute DJs pick up the slack, so things will not die down. We also won't be playing any music during the next event.

Like last summer we will be hosting a super sick Anime Movie though the site Rabb.it. We will provide a link of the screenings before the time of showing. Also if you miss the movie, don't worry! We will be having two different showings! What movie thing will we be watching? We will be screening the flick, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time! Also known as Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo.
The First Showing will be at 3pm-5pm EST or 8pm-10pm GMT, and the Second Showing will be at 11pm-1am EST or 4am-6am GMT. More info on the film below!

WHO WANTS TO PLAY SOME GAMES!?! (I know I wanna!)
Another hot event at our party is some party games! Some we plan on playing this summer are Curses, Mafia, and Never Have I! If you don't know how to play said games, we will explain the how to's prior to playing them! We will also be handing out some Reborn Game and Rejuvenation themed prizes to some of the winners of select games!
Our very own Walpurgis will be hosting the Mafia event from 2-4pm EST or 7-9pm GMT. If you haven't met her yet, you should know that she is pretty rad! She also goes by Lia.
Curses takes place between 4-6pm EST or 9-11pm GMT. And Never Have I takes place from 10pm-12am EST or 3-5am GMT.
Edit! Marcello will be hosting Curses and Kyoyo will be hosting Never Have I!!!
We are also hosting two new games called Jeopardy and Newlyweds! Jeopardy will be hosted from 6-8pm EST or 11pm-1am GMT. Newlyweds will take place 8-10 pm EST or 1-3am GMT. Again, more details at the time of the event!
Lastly we are super down for some free for all game action! So if you guys want some Board Games Online, Cards Against Humanity, or Hunger Games, hit us up and we will start some. These games are based on popular request and have no specific place in said schedule. I'd also be down to start up a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Lobby if people are down for some races!

This is a new idea we are testing the waters with called, Culture Festival! This event is up in the air as to what it could detail. I finally got the game today and gave it a shot. Holy shit. This game is absolutely not joke. When I usually go running or lift weights I rarely sweat.... When I finished my first session of this game I was drenched in sweat and was fucking exhausted.
