Alternatively, and morel ikely now that I think on it, does your Makuhita have the ability Sheer Force? That removes secondary effects of moves including, I believe, the Fake Out flinching.

This is not the case, Hawlucha doesn't count as grounded so its speed is not getting halved. That said, had the Hawlucha been switched out since it lost the Sash? You say fully invested speed, but what about IVs and Nature?

Yeah this is a known bug, in Public the Mystery Egg is broken for the (un)lucky 1/18 that end up getting Gastly as their mon sorry for any inconcenience.

To clarify yes, unfortunately as E17 is based on SuMo and not USUM,  all Alolan mons are currently entirely incompatible with move  tutors and such. A. Vulpix being compatible with Iron Tail sounds like a bug because it's not meant to be compatible with any tutors yet, but shrug, no real point fixing it because all tutors will be appropriately compatible from USUM content in the next version so we'll call the bug a happy accident.

Yes after looking into this, Egg Moves + Pre-Evo only moves on Alolan mons are incorrectly flagged as illegal by the system, and this has been fixed for public, I apologies for any prior confusion I may have caused about the issue.

With regards to the first question, I only a few Z-Moves currently have animations made for them (Off the top of my head, Bloom Doom, Twinkle Tackle, and a few of the signature ones? But there might be more) so that's as it's meant to be currently.

 

As for the rest, I would like to say I think this is a bullshit feature and the status moves totally deserve Z-Power too.

Can you give more information? Were all your pokemon set to 100, or just the one you recieved? Did you perhaps exit the trade abnormally? Was there anything at all notable about the whole trading process?

This is two issues, as it turns out. The illegal mon system was checking the movelist of the wrong formes for both Egg Moves, and also for pre-evo only moves. Fixed for Public, thanks!
