I thought one was already too many, but I have high hopes for the second!
So hi! Great news for today, in that we are welcoming two new members to our moderation team!
First up, we have someone many of you may recognise from the time they spend helping in the troubleshooting section: @Starry Knight will be joining the team as a forum moderator!
Secondly, we have someone that many of you may recognise from around the discord server, chatting and spreading positivity: @Azzie will be joining the team as a discord moderator!
I hope you can all give both the new additions a warm welcome and wish them well!
Beyond this, just wanted to add a quick reminder to everyone that, with Pokemon Sword and Shield coming out in a few weeks, we will have a spoiler lock in place for a month after they do for people that don't buy the games right away, so please keep that in mind!

Now this is the kind of thing I like to read! I will point you to this post I made in the devblog before E18 released
Which was essentially the result of Ame having developed this puzzle and asking me if it could be solved. I used Ruby and wrote a very basic programme which made moves randomly and checked if I had a winning combination.

Hi the only thing we explicitly ban from online is pokemon that would be impossible to obtain normally (I.e. stuff that can't be found in the game rn like most legendaries, or stuff with IVs or EVs higher than the usual bounds, or things like that.) so this kind of thing isn't an issue, so if you wana use it, feel free.

Hi so I programmed the AI primarily so here's roughly what's happening:
The AI doesn't cheat with regards to this stuff, it's not able to do that. It's programmed to do things like use weaker moves if they can kill to preserve PP, be aware of other pokemon it knows are on your team in case of potential switch ins, and it tries not to get stuck in loops by doing things like overhealing or overboosting, so if it's already healed a lot it's less likely to do so again. Importantly as well, while it doesn't know when you are going to switch, it does remember your past switches in the battle, and the more you switch and the more of your team you show off, the more likely it is to predict you're going to switch and attempt to counter that. Sometimes this works out and can make a very smart seeming AI that appears to predict like a human player, and when that happens we're all very happy. Sometimes it can be
disastrously stupida little off the mark, and we're working on that tooThe tl;dr is yeah blatant AI cheating is indeed not in line with our philosophy for the game so it's not a thing we have happen.

No, Reborn has always been planned to be 19 episodes long.

This is intentional. Everything fainted stays fainted, but everything that wasn't fainted is restored to full health. This is explained later.

If you battle the NPC at the top who tells you the tune, he gives you the answer of the notes you need to set the blocks to.

This is intended, as of E18. With a few exceptions (PULSE mons, Corin-Rouge) Ace pokemon are no longer exclusively saved for last. The AI is discouraged from sending them out earlier, however if it believes their ace is a SIGNIFICANTLY better decision than any other option to send out, it will send out their Ace earlier.
