  1. Time for the mega frog squad!

    Mega Seismitoad

    Water/Ground

    Ability: Regenerator

    HP 105

    Attack 95 -> 125

    Defence 75 -> 95

    Sp. Attack 85 -> 100

    Sp. Defence 75 -> 95

    Speed 74 -> 89

    Seismitoad has an awesome typing with only 1 weakness but unfortunately a not so good movepool... So I thought to balance it between offence and defence with a more defencive ability. Regenerator gives it a more reliable recovery than Water Absorb and makes it a good pivot in addition to its typing! It can work as an awesome Stealth Rock setter and can dish good amount of damage with EQ and Drain Punch. Although I didn't want to give it more special attack due to Scald spam, special sets are still really viable thanks to better movepool.

    Mega Toxicroak

    Poison/Fighting

    Ability: Gooey

    HP 83

    Attack 106 -> 131

    Defence 65 -> 90

    Sp. Attack 86 -> 106

    Sp. Defence 65 -> 75

    Speed 85 -> 105

    The idea behind this mega is that Toxicroak's Dry Skin now becomes covered with poisonous slime! Gooey is not the best ability for an offensive pokemon, but I didn't want to make it more broken by giving it Tough Claws/Sheer Force etc. But the ability is not completely wasted, since thanks to its defensive boost it can switch into fighting attacks, cripple their speed and either set up with SD/NP or it can recover the lost HP with Drain Punch.

    Mega Poliwrath

    Water/Fighting

    Ability: Swift Swim

    HP 90

    Attack 95 -> 145

    Defence 95 -> 125

    Sp. Attack 70

    Sp. Defence 90 -> 110

    Speed 70

    Pretty much a better base Poliwrath with simple stat boosts. No speed boost cause I wanted to show that it remains heavy and muscular, but it is an awesomw swimmer!

    Mega Politoed

    Water/Fairy

    Ability: Pixilate

    HP 90

    Attack 75 -> 85

    Defence 75 -> 90

    Sp. Attack 90 -> 115

    Sp. Defence 100 -> 130

    Speed 70 -> 90

    Our beloved (or hated by many) rain caller takes a turn and becomes completely different with its mega evolution. Usualy I don't like to make big changes like this for megas, but I really wanted to show how Politoed transforms completely to something new from the rest of its evolutionary line!!!

    Mega Greninja

    Water/Dark

    Ability: Protean

    HP 72

    Attack 95 -> 115

    Defence 67 -> 77

    Sp. Attack 103 -> 140

    Sp. Defence 71 -> 91

    Speed 122 -> 135

    Not that Greninja needs it, but it is quite bad in Ubers. Maybe the stat boost can help it deal with the legendaries and Primals that rampage in the tier...

  2. Mega Escavalier

    Type: Bug/Steel

    Ability: Tough Claws

    HP: 75

    Attack: 135 -> 170 (+35)

    Defense: 105 -> 135 (+30)

    Special Attack: 60

    Special Defense: 105 -> 135 (+30)

    Speed: 20 -> 25 (+5)

    02

    Mega Accelgor

    Type: Bug

    Ability:Tinted Lens

    HP: 80

    Attack: 70

    Defense: 40 -> 70 (+20)

    Special Attack: 100 -> 145 (+45)

    Special Defense: 60 -> 80 (+20)

    Speed: 145 -> 170 (+25)

    02

    Just thought I'd make some megas for these two. Mega Accelgor is a slow and powerful attacker, especially with most of its moves being a contact move. Mega Accelgor has few switchins due to lack of bug buzz resists and is pretty much faster than everything unscarfed, and even a few things scarfed.

    You have put 120 points on mega Accelgor and in the defence you say +20 while it's +30.

    Also you type mega Accelgor instead of Escavalier :P

    I like both of these megas, but 170 speed on Accelgor seems an overkill... And 170 att on Esca plus the Tough Claws with an awesome defensive typing and stats is quite broken! I'd say another ability would be more fitting, since Escavalier doesn't even has claws :P

  3. Time for a not so good mega...

    Mega Bastiodon

    Steel/Rock

    Ability: Bulletproof/Iron Barbs

    HP 60

    Attack 52 -> 82

    Defence 168 -> 180

    Sp. Attack 47 -> 83

    Sp. Defence 138 -> 160

    Speed 30

    Bastiodon is a pure defensive mon with high defences but poor HP and typing. Rock/Steel gives it two very common x4 weaknesses and another really common x2 weakness in the form of Water.

    Its mega evolution is not going to help it a lot, but it's going to make it a bit better from what it is now! Stat wise, its already high defences become even better patching up its very low HP. Its offensive stats now are somewhat viable to use the plethora of coverage moves it posses to do damage, outside of Toxic and Metal Burst. Ability wise I wasn't very sure what to give it. From one hand Bulletproof makes a lot of sense for a living shield, helping it against Focus Blast/Aura Sphere users and shutting down Gengar completely. On the other hand I can imagine a more spiky look for its mega evolution, that will punish physical attackers and racking up even more indirect damage outside of Stealth Rocks and Toxic!

    What do you think is the best ability fitting for it?

  4. Mega Weezing

    HP:0265

    Attack: 90 -> 100 (+10)

    Defense:02120 -> 140 (+20)

    Sp. Attack:0285 -> 125 (+40)

    Sp. Defense:0270 -> 120 (+50)

    Speed:0260 -> 40 (-20)

    BST:02490 -> 590

    Ability:02Levitate

    Type:02Poison/Fire

    New Moves:02Overheat, Heat Wave

    02

    Weezing's moveset has always been quite colorful compared to most non-Nido Poison-types. Since it learns a lot of Fire-type moves and its gases are flammable, why not expand on that and give it the Fire-type? The new typing gives it a couple of undesirable weaknesses, but also gives it useful resistances, like a 4x one to Fairy. Its biggest weakness is covered by Levitate, which is not cheap since Weezing's stats are low by Mega standards. Overheat is for STAB, in case you really want the sheer power, and Heat Wave is for Doubles.

    I really like the idea of this Mega Weezing! But I wouldn't say that its stats are low. 125 Sp. Attack is quite high for such a defensive pokemon! I'd say reduce it to 105 with no speed drop, or 115 Sp. Att and 110 Sp. Def. I'm relly not a fan of useless stat reduction just to make the pokemon more stronger...

  5. Time for the Unova starters to shine!

    Mega Serperior

    Grass/Dragon

    Ability: Contrary

    HP 75

    Attack 75 -> 95

    Defence 95 -> 110

    Sp. Attack 75 -> 100

    Sp. Defence 95 -> 110

    Speed 113 -> 138

    This mega evolution works pretty much like the base form with a few perks! Gaining the secondary Dragon type is a double edge sword, since it gains 1 more STAB and a few more resistances but it also gains a x4 weakness to Ice and a weakness to Fairies that are almost dominating this meta. The speed boost it gained now makes it faster than Mega Lop and Mega Mane, meaning that you now need strong or SE priority if you need to revenge kill this thing. Thankfully it dies from any Ice Shard and Mega Pinsir and Talon keeps it on check!

    Mega Emboar (are you really surprised)

    Fire/Fighting

    Ability: Reckless

    HP 110

    Attack 123 -> 150

    Defence 65 -> 80

    Sp. Attack 100 -> 110

    Sp. Defence 65 -> 80

    Speed 65 -> 88

    Who said that every mega needs a new typing or a new OP ability? Some pokemon just need some stat boosts to shine! Mega Bacon God works exactly as the normal one, but now is bulkier and as fast as Excadril, cause gambling about speed tie can make a game very interesting! It may be my favorite pokemon, but making it OP as hell feels bad somehow...

    Mega Samurott

    Water/Fighting

    Ability: No Guard

    HP 95

    Attack 100 -> 130

    Defence 85 -> 95

    Sp. Attack 108 -> 130

    Sp. Defence 70 -> 80

    Speed 70 -> 98

    New moves: Focus Blast, Sacred Sword, Secret Sword

    Ok, now we can talk about broken mons! Samurott is left behind the other 2 starters cause gamefreak doesn't know how to handle an awesome design! Samurott now becomes a true samurai, gaining the fighting type that should have from the start. But what kind of samurai would it be without some cool new sword moves? Mega Samurott now tries to become a Sword of Justice and somehow rival Keldeo! It's ability now lets it spam stupidly strong moves like Hydro Pump, Blizzard, Focus Blast and Megahorn with no drawbacks. But ofc it's not everything so good. Mega Samurott is hindered by its base 98 speed that lets it speed tie with Hydreigon (cause as I said, praying at RNG can make a match from boring to awesome!). Fortunately Samurott has Aqua Jet for priority, but that still doesn't help it against Bird Spam...

  6. Bacon Scent

    category: other

    type: fire

    power:-

    accuracy:-

    pokemon that can learn it: Emboar line, Grumpig line

    The user infatuates the target regardless of its gender. If the infatuated target kills the user, at the end of the battle its happiness will be maxed and the trainer will receive the item 'fresh hot bacon' which fully restores a pokemon's HP but leaves it a burn (can be used as a held item too at bellow 25%)

  7. I know enough One Piece to get that one.

    More steel, because wynaut:

    Assimilate

    Type: Steel

    Category: Status

    Power: N/A

    PP: 10 (max 16)

    Accuracy: N/A

    The user fuses together its damaged body to recover upto 50% of its health when used.

    Steel type Recover y/y?

    We shall be immortal!

    And then watch GameFreak making this move and give it to all Steel types except your beloved god Magnezone! 3;D

    Muahahahahahahahahaha :P

  8. Now here's an interesting concept bent to a usable form

    Mega Castform

    Type: Normal (changes by weather)

    Ability: Converge [made-up ability] (summons Hail, Rain, or Sun randomly upon entering battle. Changes typing by weather. Reverts to Normal when weather expires)

    Atk: 70

    Def: 80 (+10)

    SpA: 110 (+40)

    SpDef: 90 (+20)

    Spd: 100 (+30)

    I have always thought Castform was a really cool Pokemon and should have its creators thrown in jail for making it suck beyond all reason. I get it was a gimmick, but this would finally make it usable. It would have a fairly balanced Ability that wouldn't work 100% of the time in it's favor, give STAB to Weather Ball and give it coverage in other awesome Weather moves like Solar Beam and Thunder. It has a fantastic movepool but terrible stats. Removal of the weather would ultimately kill it, as it becomes very weak then.

    I was thinking for a mega Castform with an ability like this, but then its moveset would be really messed up since each weather requires different moves.

    So I was thinking to give it different mega stones for each weather (+Sandstorm), like Castformite Rain/Sun/Sand/Hail!

  9. I just want to transfer one of my ideas from another thread to this one.

    Mega Shedinja: pure Ghost type
    Ability: Wonder Guard
    Stats:
    HP 1 -> 1
    Attack 90 -> 125 (+35)
    Defence 45 -> 10 (-35)
    Sp. Attack 30 -> 50 (+20)
    Sp. Defence 30 -> 10 (-20)
    Speed 40 -> 140 (+100)
    Concept: the ghost that is inside the shell is now free, that's why it looses the bug typing

    You may say that I did exactly the opposite that Nick said :P, but it's Shedinja! It is bad in every way!
    Still the mega dies to ANYTHING!

  10. Serra does not have a Cloyster anymore, she leads with Cryogonal. It has levitate so it doesn't take damage from EQ, but it still destroys the field (hope this will change!).
    Vanilluxe is indeed a good choice, but be carefull cause some of her mons have Flash Cannon or Nature Power that can potential OHKO you ice cream cone!

    By far the easiest way I found to defeat Serra is Shell Smash Magcargo holding a white herb! You set up twice on her snowflake and go rampage with Lava Plume, Ancientpower and Earth Power!!!

  11. For me it has to be Beldum! I know Metagross is a beast and i like it, but Beldum is another story. It only learns Take Down that it doesn't even get STAB, hasn't perfect accuracy, has recoil and it is a pain in the ass to catch it due to low capture rate. Especially in Pokemon Platinum where it was really hard to find and it was in an area with a sandstorm making the battle taking sooooooo long!

  12. Can I ask for something? Is it possible to add new pokes until before Agate? Since we can't return to the city it would be cool to know which pokemon we might miss if we pass Agate Gate! :)

    EDIT
    Also for rock type before Serra it's either Archen or Tirtuga (and their respective secondary types of course)

  13. Axew (DRAGON)
    Larvesta (BUG + FIRE)
    Frillish (WATER + GHOST)
    Tentacool (WATER + POISON)
    Togepi (FAIRY + FLYING)
    Vullaby (DARK + FLYING)
    Shroomish (GRASS + FIGHTING)
    Drilbur (GROUND + STEEL)
    Staryu (WATER + PSYCHIC)
    Azurill (WATER + FAIRY)
    Pawniard (DARK + STEEL)
    Rhyhorn (ROCK + GROUND)
    Elekid (ELECTRIC)
    Phantump (GHOST + GRASS)
    Starly (NORMAL + FLYING)
    Cottonee (GRASS + FAIRY)
    Vulpix (FIRE)
    Sneasel (DARK + ICE)

    EDIT
    Some of the early game changes that came in my mind:
    Muna before Julia (PSYCHIC)
    Mudkip now only as a starter (WATER + GROUND)
    Squirtle now before Aya (WATER)
    Slugma now before Florinia (FIRE + ROCK)
    Litleo now before Florinia (NORAML + FIRE)
    Tynamo and Blitzle before Julia (ELECTRIC)
    Nidoran M before Florinia (POISON + GROUND)
