Well, it seems like I can't be using my left hand much anymore. Post-trauma neuropraxia, gotten steadily worse since that motorbike accident several months ago. Now the whole hand is fairly useless; surgery might help, but it certainly won't ever restore my hand's full functionality.

Why are some people so persistent in getting surgery when they don't need it?
