I tried the SMW mod with desolation removing a lot of the mods that I heard would not work, but it doesn't boot up so I guess it is incompatible?

Hi! This game looks good really interested in playing it. The only thing I can say just based off screenshots is the portrait and sprite work could use improvement
Other than that.... oh my lord it's so beautiful! -
Damn this episode hit me with the feels. Rejuvination is definitely my favorite fan game. my heart aches maaaaaan
-
Under the assumption this game is dead. It is a real shame. He brought unique ideas to the reborn framework, and the story was getting really good.
A lot of fan games turn out like this, so it is what it is. It's just a damn shame.-

It is nice to see this continue. Bookmarked the thread!
Three wonderful fangames to wait on. -
I always loved the idea of a trouble center. Thousand Year Door is to thank for that. Glad to see Rejuvination and Desolation doing it.

The stuff with Shiv is the most interesting to me.

Finished the current build. Story has sunk its hooks into me.
All I can really say is to improve your sprite work. Such as the electric gym leader's. Connor's portrait.
The game can be tedious at times but very rewarding which I torn about lol. Rewards are worth it, I just disliked getting them sometimes.
I LOVE your map design despite that. So much good ideas. Lots of exploration
Looking forward to episode 4 -
One thing I'd like to mention is that while the route are very broad and have interesting level design. This goes for Blackview City too. It just winds up being very tedious to back track through when doing quests and because there is so much to look for it does get confusing.

You should know judging by the large indent with a riddle written inside.
oh i see now. That room. Ok so, this shall be interesting to see if I can trigger the event

What are you after? Where you're meant to go or the Red Piece location? I'll assume it's the Red Piece location.
Hidden inside the Weeping Depths, inside a mound to be specific. You must have the Old Doll in your inventory and round around this mound, hugging the mounds wall. Make sure you being to run around it from its right hand side.
what classifies as a mound
but alright back to weeping depths for the 4th time lmao!

head notth of the city into the woods
so the maze?
-
So I have the old doll and beat the 2nd gym leader. I am aware of the red piece just need a gentle push in the right direction

not gonna lie, very much prefer the 2nd iteration of the connor portrait sprite. His new one does not fit in
-
I do write as a hobby.
I'd definitely be interested in that but that's up to you. -
considering abandoning this new save after trying to attempt connor
-
as much as I'd like to continue my save. I think I should have a second save file to play the new release

I just finished starting from scratch in desolation and done as much as I could in the game. Gotta say Caz, great job! I thoroughly enjoyed what I played. I was always hoping you'd return, and boy am I glad you have. The new story content, and re-experiencing the game were an absolute treat. The story is super interesting, the characters are enjoyable, and the credit system are great. I felt that reborn and rejuvination did a good job of making sidequests very meaningful, the credit system bolsters that. I know it was in the previous build but I thought I'd still highlight it. The music choices were excellent as well, in fact one of my favorite atmospheric tracks in the game is "feeling - humble beginnings" because of the situations it is used in
Some criticisms I have include some map design, and some sprites. Blackview city in particular is a confusing mess at times when you're getting used to it. The snowy forest was also a confusing a mess. Everything kinda looks the same until you've run around it 50 times in both maps. Connor specifically needs a new portrait, and so does rosetta. I feel like they lack the shading, and detail characters like ava have. Obviously work in progress game, but these are things I thought I would bring up
otherwise very much looking forward to episode 6
