    So SO glad that this game is resurrected from the dead! Just finished the latest episode a few days ago. Eagerly waiting for the next with bated breath!

    Hey all! Totally want to save some time training and breeding pokemon, so I'm looking for a 5/6 IV Ditto.

     

    Now, I know it's pretty precious. But hopefully I have some pokemon that may be of interest to you.

    Attached here are some of the pokemon that I took the time to breed with egg moves, high IV's etc. They may not be perfect with 31 IV's but it's somewhere around 26-31's. The exception to this box are: Marshtomp, Charizard, Rufflet, Gengar, and Ferroseed. Those guys suck right now.

    So who am I?

    Been ages since I was here last, just recently came back due to life stuff, very negative, but also positive. I "kinda" left at some time around 2016 and only lurked here and there every few months. But I actually joined since this game was on Episode 10 and just releasing Episode 11, so some time around 2014. I'm fortunate to have a former coworker who cared enough about me to open a door for me to meet some really successful people, and I really treasure the relationship I have with them. I found out about this game just through some google searching as I was looking on info for playing Pokemon B2/W2. Needless to say, I was so blown away by the scale and quality of the game that I registered and almost immediately, supported the game with a donation. Not trying to toot my horn, because the game is just THAT good in my opinion and I'm grateful for finding it.

     

    What am I responsible for?

    Honestly now that I'm considered a veteran, I feel like I should have some responsibility lol. Back in the day, I posted on some team showcases, trying my best to help others on having optimal teams despite me not knowing everything myself. I've also helped some members hunt rare pokemon and showed them the way forward if they don't know where to go next. In the old days there's also the Ace Members (not sure what happened to that), I've also helped bring awareness to many bugs in this game, most minor, a few major ones.

     

    What can I talk to you about?

    I don't mind anything really as long as it doesn't break man's laws and divine laws. If anything, a major thing I've learned about is to take interest in others, something that is not easy for an introvert like me, not because I'm mean (quite contrary actually), but because I'm overcoming my fear of speaking with others. I've been complimented many times in real life for being amiable and having a great smile. Sometimes I wish I have vampire teeth though just for cool.

    Pokemon Uranium - First Impressions and General Discussion

    To be honest, I really don't think it is fair at all to compare Uranium with Reborn; they're 2 completely different games altogether. Reborn is difficult to add a deep (albeit sadistic) layer of strategy involved and encourages experimentation. Playing through Uranium, it felt like I was playing a new generation of a Pokemon game. I had no idea what all the fakemons were, their typing, their stats, their movesets, etc. But it was really fun to explore not just the world in Uranium, but all the fakemon the makers meticulously made (not to mention online functionality as well!). I remember more than a few times where I would behold a pokemon in Uranium for the first time and exclaim, "OMG WHAT IS THAT?? I WANT ONE!!!" Even if later I got some of them and found out they were complete bootyhole. But anyways, long development times, but 2 completely different games that have their own unique perspectives. Even though Reborn was my first Pokemon fan-game and will probably be my most favorite one, Uranium is still a really damn good game.

    Thanks. But now that I freed the demon, Narcissa said something about Amethyst Cave, however I can't figure out what to do there or if I'm even in the right place.

    All the things I'd say are have already been mentioned. But there's also one more thing for you to consider, and that is the move: Curse. But why Curse? Aggron has absolute booty speed, if you can manage to set up 2 Curses or even just 1, you can become a threatening physical tank taking hits and brutalizing your foes. That being said however, Aggron in my honest opinion excels with Trick Room teams. Have one of your pokemon (i.e. Porygon-Z) set up Trick Room, since Aggron is slower than a drunk turtle, you can easily set up a few Curses (hell, even Stealth Rocks). Just don't spend the whole duration of Trick Room Cursing up.

    Now that being said, how do you get Curse onto your beloved Aggron? As Lugruf mentioned already: breeding. Here's the easiest way: go to Ametrine mountain and catch a MALE bergmite. Level that boy down to 21 and level it up to 22, OR, go to move relearner to obtain Curse. Put your male Bergmite together with your female Aron. Soft reset until you hatch a female Aron, because you'll also be breeding that female Aron (with Curse) with male Tyrantrum for Head Smash. After all, an Aggron without Head Smash is like a rhino without horns.

    But, but what if I face a fighting or ground pokemon?? That's already been mentioned too, and that's Metal Burst. Hopefully if you had set up some Curses you'll at least survive 1 hit and be able to dish it back.

    Bump. I got a Haxorus to trade for another (good) mystery egg Pokemon. The Haxorus was my jackpot starter and my mystery egg just so happens to be a damned Axew...(RNGesus why must you punish me so??!). The IV's aren't the best and EV's are all over the place as I used her since the beginning.
