If you're usibg a scrafty without DD, Moxie boosts wouldn't do much cause everything outspeeds you, forcing you to switch or take a big hit that might kill you.

-Gyarados is in exactly the same situation as Salamence.

-Krookodile has a bad defensive typing and bad defensive stats, so don't bother with Intimidate.

-Scarfty with Dragon Dance can use eitger Intimidate or Moxie. On one hand, it's pretty bulky so it can set up withou help from Intimidate and Moxie is nice on a speedy thing (which yiu' be after a DD or two). On the other, Intimidat...

But for could get it, Golurk and Gallade would really appreciate that. It would also be more useful abilities for Bisharp and Keldeo. Toxicroak and Crawdaunt could also do something with that, water immunity is a niche thing, while crawdaunt would lose Adaptability, but gain actual speed and still be able to Swords Dance.

Well, you have the Shell Smashers and Archeops that you probably shouldn't give to the player as they're too good imo. Kabutops is good, but it's level-up moves are terrible.

Rampardos is slow and frail, Bastiodon doesn't believe in doing damage, and I can't help but see non-mega Aero as "crappy Archeops" if we're talking in-game, but I guess it could work.

So I'd vote any gen 3 or 6 fossil. They're all good, none too good or able...

With the starter and eeveelution, looks like you wanna counterteam the player as much as possible, so I'd recommend any of the mons with stupidly big movepools, like Lickilicky, Eelektross, Nidoking, Archeops or Octillery, they all get usable moves from at least 10 types.
