You could've also used a Shedinja with Safety Goggles and the WoW TM from Mirage Tower to hardstop everything but Aegislash. Interesting strategy none the less.

I feel pretty sure that reason most people prefer the Reshiram route is because there's just -as of now- objectively more and better content to play through. Not a big fan of how the split was handled.
Nice Titania fight by the way, by far my favourite boss in the game now.

The Aster and Eclipse fight was hard to gauge as I completely redid it AND Fern recieved an extra mon. I may nerf the Lunatone and Solrock a tad bit but I was having trouble figuring out moves to put on those two since it's in the awkward zone where they don't have certain weak moves to learn. I'll tone it down a tad bit since it is the second boss in the game.
As for the rivals, that's what I'm going to talk about below.
So something everyone should be aware of sooner or later are all non gym leader bosses have lost their niche of being full mono. While I'm not against it, I'm conflicted about this change as I always figured they kept their mono types simply because that's what they've been working towards, were ex leaders or substitute (Cal, Blake, Fern, Cain...and Victoria), or were centered around a type like Sigmund. I can't promise every boss will break their monotype in Redux (mostly because there's factors I care more about such as variety), but there is one thing I really want to get to speak upon: the rival starters.
I won't beat around the bush in saying that Cain likely is going to have Muk due to Aya very, very likely using A Muk in one of her fights and regular Muk worked pretty well for Cain (let alone it makes sense he caught it in the nearby area). I'm going to edit it so that the event matches up with it, but I'm wondering if I should stick with the Unovan Starters for the Rivals like in the old days. The thing about the Alolan starters is that I actually have plans or a pretty good idea that all of them are going to be used for at least one boss (Decidueye is debatable) so these Pokemon would appear on two bosses. The Unovan starters I really don't see any bosses using in the game so far. I'm kind of wondering if you guys wouldn't mind me reverting their starters (aka their secondary aces) back to the Unovan mons for this reason or y'all are hellbent on that being consistent with the main game.
Everything else about team changes will be case by case scenarios. Fern isn't getting Sandile yet as there's almost 0 benefit gained from it until its fully evolved where it gets very threatening. Ludicolo and Ferroseed more or less already help cover the a few grass weaknesses. It also wouldn't be able to evolve until post Shelly...when most player teams have more or less a team full of fully evolved mons. It's also way too early in the game to give him a Scyther and Rhydon kind of is a joke due to its weaknesses.
Why stick to them all having the same set of starters here, when the characters themselves don't have a theme or any significant connection to make them have all of the same set. It deprives Cain and Fern of fitting starters(Fern loses out wayyy more here frankly and Serperior fits him wayyy more than Primarina fits Cain.) Victoria doesn't really lose out but Fern does.
As for bosses sticking to monotypes, just stick to character themes with a slight preference for one type and you can't really go wrong.

The term 'veteran' is used in the context of this thread for people that have been around in the community upwards of around a year give or take. Purple's only been around for like 4 months so it wouldn't be apt to call him that.

So, who are you?: Ey, name's Azery, or AZ for short, people use a variety of other nicknames for me. Do what you want. I've been a member of reborn since 2014 and over the time I feel and I've been told I've changed a lot for the better. I'm arguably one of the youngest members of the community and despite that I've been around for quite a long time. I'm a secondary school student currently pendant going into year 11. I have no idea what in the world I'm going to do with my life but that's the fun ain't it, figuring it out. I generally lurk on discord or the semi abandoned showdown server. I've helped organise a league made in honour of the old reborn league, the redemption league in both of it's runs so far, so shameless plug there. Aside from that I don't really do a whole lot, if you see me just hmu and we'll chat into oblivion I guess.Anything you're responsible for? Aside from helping host Redemption, I'm now a Discord Moderator so I guess the well being of that chat is my job now.

I remember seeing this game on Relic Castle a long time ago, commenting on how N(I don't know if he's still in the game, I literally just noticed this thread somehow :P)had Zekrom instead of Reshiram for some odd reason, back when I still frequented that place. Damn if this hasn't improved a hell of a lot since then though. Not trying to be rude or hasty but is there going to be a beta/version based release or are you releasing the entire game at once?

Bit of a weaker episode, this one was. Lack of action or lore building, though the appearance of Cynthia and Giratina was cool. Giratina was fucking horrifying and even if their Power Scale was nowhere near Kyogre's, the legends were cool too. I do like how Cyrus found solace in the distortion world however, it made sense. There was no one BUT him and Giratina there. No one to create strive, no one to bother him. Though the ending left things very vague, as to what happened to him. Did Giratina attack him?

You know, I kind of am still hoping we get to see more on a certain scientist from Platinum. No seriously I will lose it if they don't at least have something in regards to Charon given his role in the plot may have been minor, but significant.
As for Episode 10, I felt the episode honestly dragged on too long in some sections as I felt they could've ended it with Cheryl fleeing the chateau. Though tbh, I felt it was creepier in the games. That NPC walking out of the banquet hall and I'm pretty sure there's another in the bedrooms.
There's 1 episode based on Stark Mountain and Heatran...so there might be him and Buck there. IDK.

The episodes were alright but holy fucking shit was everything about episode 10 creepy. First one was a bit disappointing but Deoxys/Deoxys theme remix is good shit so, It's aight. Hoping for more good shit from Sinnoh.

It all happened too quickly for Rafael's comfort, one moment he'd turned to grab his his jacket and put out the flame on it - he was rather attached to the article of clothing, he couldn't just let it burn away like that - and the next a giant inferno erupted from the girl that only moments prior had nearly burnt him to a crisp. Whatever made her absolutely explode, he wasn't sure of, though he was pretty sure the only one left for her to get pissed off against was that loud little kid....

Rafael said, twirling one of the two knives he still had on hand, he'd toyed with trying to get the one that struck that unstable girl, but he'd rather not go anywhere near her for a while. That thing straight up made this episode for me. Archie's also shown to be the idiot with a heart of gold. A big ass fucking idiot though.

As of public release; Amaria has Megas on the Reshiram path only. Her teams got changed from Community; which is where Jess seems to have beaten her in.
And yeah, watching Shedinja stall her to death isn't really interesting, but it's super satisfying considering what she tries to do moments prior in the Reshiram path. She deserves it.
