      nah, worst field in the game. Easy fight but frankly I don't enjoy having to play an RNG game of whether my check to this +3 evasion, 100% crit rate behind Aurora Veil Pokemon can even do it's job properly without missing, taking a fourth of it's HP in damage and then being crit to death.

    is using hazards in Wasteland field worth it? Like, I understand Toxapex using Tspikes to spread poison, or mayyyybe sneaky pebbles against very durable bug/flying types, but....why use hazards when you can just kill them?

      *    Entry hazards are consumed at the end of the turn, returning a special effect to the side they were on:
              Stealth Rocks deal type-scaling Rock damage double the normal effect to Pokemon
              Spikes deal 33% max HP to grounded Pokemon
              Toxic Spikes deal 12.5% max HP to grounded non-Poison/Steel types, and inflicts poison
              Sticky Web severely lowers Pokemon's speed

       

      Sticky Web being just string shot aside, they are potent.

      Just gunna say that Spikes is incredibly nice. They immediantly deal a third of your opponent's hp at the end of the turn, something like Forretress which takes nothing from most of Aya's Pokemon barring Salazzle can literally just sit there and chip stuff down. Stealth Rocks on the other hand can just one shot Pokemon 4x weak to it lmao.

    Beat adrienne, took 5 tries. Megawile kept ruining things as it would one-shot just about everything and sucker punch dhelmise for a OHKO which sucked. Plus I had nothing SE against it if it was on the fairy tale field. I had to get  adrienne's whimsicott to first set tailwind(sometimes it would just spam dazzling gleam), then have trevenant set a trick room so it could outspeed megawile when it showed up on the field. By using destiny bond trev was able to take out megawile which let silvally and dhelmise clean house with their field buffed  anchor shots and iron heads. The hard part was getting megawile KO'd, the rest of adrienne's team wasn't that bad in comparison.

     

    You know wiseglasses for finding 10 people is a pretty lame prize.

      It wouldn't really be useful vs Titania because it turns into a Steel move, which here would've won you the game pretty much. Shame about the Lilligant tho, imo it's by far one of the best Grass types you can have.

      I can't see how you struggled when tailwind into nature power secret sword sweeps xem p hard tbh, mawile can't sucker punch that either. Lilligant alongside Roserade should've made this a piece of cake

    Okay so I fought ciel. And...I won. like really easily. In fact it was probably the easiest  gym battle since flobot. 

     

    I taught trevenant trick room, and grinded up an abamasnow I caught a while back, and WOW, abamasnow is a monster in trick room. 

     

    For togekiss I had roserade use two venoshocks which KO'd it, as she was able to take one air slash, if barely.

     

    Oricorio was next, and this next move was crucial. Trevenant barely survived an air slash to pull of trick room, and then sacrificed herself via destiny bond to take down ori. Hard part over with.

     

    Abamasnow takes center stage now and steals the show. Mine had like 2 iVs in special attack and a -spd + special defense nature so I EV'd it to ensure blizzard actually kills. minior, gliscor, noivern all fall like dominoes and megataria barely survives, no doubt due to the poor IVs. The nature actually ends up being a good thing as abamasnow survives with 3 HP and finishes her with ice shard. 

     

    You'd expect the flying leader to be the hardest of the circus trio, but she ironically was  the easiest.

    Haha aster and eclipse were a piece of cake. Their team has a crippling weakness to grass save for like 3 pokemon(vileplume does have double resist though) and after a growth in sun set by cherrim, roserade was able to sweep them. Light screen didn't even help them lol.

     

    I have a question, does fury badge raise the cap to 70 or 75?

      I mean to be fair a lot of that is probably steeped in Meganium's immediant disadvantage type wise(though the same can be said for Charizard I guess?)

      that being said tbh Meganium >>>>>>>>> Venusaur in just about every way honestly(- competitively).

    How crazy would i be after my current playthrough of reborn to try a monotype run?

      I call it easier because on a normal playthrough, you tend to only use one of each type of Pokemon on a team for example, so if that one falls, you lose a huge amount of coverage. Not nearly as prevalent in monos imo. Definitely relative with experience though.

      it's typically acceptable for monos without a starter to hack one in.
