    Quoted from the Progress Scoreboard:

I really want to know who's crazy enough to put so many question marks, exclamation marks and so on behind the question that their combined length takes more space than the actual question.

It's been quite a while E19 is in development, and well, it's the forums. I'd be surprised if there weren't a bunch of people who commented similar like that...

Anyhoo, that bugs bar-ry will be sitting still there for a while, I'd reckon 😄

so I have grad school and Ame's splitting her time between starlight and reborn, currently favoring starlight.

summer 2020 would be my safest estimate for a release date.

Ah, that makes a lot of sense. That sounds like a lot of work to juggle to me, and I am finishing my master thesis 😬

Good luck with those things :)

Just doing some glancing math that seems a reasonable timeframes to expect the game to go into testing. I was just assuming all legend events would take a week and that leads to do even though that probably isn't the case (any shorter time would be for the other stuff so it evens out) we would be in about March. So around May would be a good guess when the game will public.

Well, given that it's a mystery to many how much effort these legendary quests require, I can't blame people for having a hard time to form a reasonable understanding of the time it would require to finish the remaining postgame.

I can only assume each legendary quest is a massive effort, but whether the seemingly slow progress is due to its deceptively small appearance on the progress bars or other stuff happening behind the scenes is unknown to me. Perhaps this could be communicated more clearly to temper expectations on said release date?

Sadly, some things are beyond even the gods. Like getting people through college, or making AI work properly, or obtaining Budew.

In Rejuv, finding a decent wild Budew is actually that hard...

Also, good to know about the Galar-update. If they did so for a strong narrative reason, it might not have gotten such backlash. I mean, Brexit analogies and whatnot...

  5. Given the development update, I believe Ame.exe has crashed 🙂

oh my god will you shut up about the E3 stuff, you'll end up buying the game anyway wether they "fix" it or not just admit it.

Since i do not own a Nintendo Switch and i have no plans to get one i am pretty much sure i won't be playing Pokémon Sword/Shield^^

And about that whole excuse for why they are not implementing the Pokémon that won't be in the Galar Dex....it's Nintendo's / Game Freak's own fault for creating so many Pokémon in the first place. I feel absolutely no pity at all here if they are saying they would have to do so much more work on animations, balance and other stuff if they were to implement all Gen 1-7 Mons.

There will be people accepting this, there will be those who won't....i do not care, since i am done with the official games anyway.... I did play the official Gen 7 games and i was disappointed. Gen 6 was great in my opinion.

Wait...what did I miss? Some updates regarding Sword/Shield at E3 must have slipped my attention....

Yeah....considering the things that happened in the game so far.... a little trail of blood is no biggie any more. But Reborn isn't your regular Pokémon game anyway. Have you ever read the manga? Reborn has more in common with the manga than with the anime or the games if you ask me.

Isn't that Pokemon Red adventure's selling point? I think Reborn is somehow more...consistent storywise.

Ame said she will not be using Gen 8, I believe.

Not what I intended to say. Check Juice's comment. If it comes out shortly after (like a couple weeks), that could be the best scenario if Gen8 turns out a bit underwhelming. Not a desirable scenario, but not impossible either.

I give it at least 2-4 months before E19 may be released or in bug testing. But I’d say we’re more close than farther than the end.

this does put a smile on my face..

Reeled back a little due to the surprise.

Also if it is released in six months, that might put it past the Gen8-release date. That might not be a bad thing.

I see. I thought that the dialogues belonged to the story part. Also, we shouldn't forget about potential puzzles when it comes to legendaries. Those will also take some time to make. Especially for top tier ones like Groudon,Kyogre and Rayquaza (because of their Primal Reversion/Mega Evolution). Same probably goes for Arceus. And God knows what Puzzle we have to through for the Creation Trio. You could so much with Time/Space/Antimatter.

Some Distortion World/Regular world puzzles would be cool, as one overwhelms the other...

Pretty sure this is just speculation in case Nintendo executes Order 66.

^This. Just trying to plan ahead for such an event. It is merely speculation though. Commander's suggestions are probably the best way to go.

Back to topic: if Ame wants a sadistic Victory Road puzzle, she can just redo that magic square puzzle, but have to fight a pokemon every time you want to make a move.
Or just throw every puzzle up until then together and mix them in a glorious clusterf...

I'm going to be blunt and say what benefit do you gain about worrying about it? We've had 6 years worth of time to plan for a worst case scenario which isn't just Reborn getting shut down but the whole plethora of fan-games getting shut down. We have things on the table that we can do but there is no final solution if that happens. It'd actually be in Ame's benefit to get Reborn to have a C&D as more people would know about her and her other projects. So instead of treating it like a terrible thing, think about the positives.

Now what I do recommend before the final release gets posted is download anything you are even remotely interested in as it may not be there for long. If Reborn gets C&D, then I'll be "deleting" the Redux (and original HC one) thread which simply is just the hide option. A measly mod is not worth getting the site shut down or someone getting into huge trouble. We'll figure out where to go from there when we get there though. Panicking over decisions and factors you cannot control doesn't help any one of us in any way. Just know that the world isn't over if it does happen.

    There are a couple things.
First one of them is Rejuv. I doubt it will be finished before Reborn, so if the site gets wiped who knows if and where that will be finished (it started to get really interesting this episode). Same goes indeed for all the others.
I'm mostly afraid that I'll miss the release and won't get a chance to play the finished versions of any of these games (including Reborn) if it comes out at a time I'm drenched in work and deadlines, 'cause that happens sometimes.
Second, if the site would get axed, it would mean a lot of people (which are not on Discord server for reasons, for example myself) might suddenly lose contact with the community.

Sure, worrying doesn't really lead to any benefits for me, but I'm just hoping things will be alright for everyone.

Anyway, thanks for the reassurance, Commander.

Oh i know it will take months to finish the game, its just exciting to see updates coming out

A this point, you could say that about playing it as well 😛 (not complaining). I do wonder if Ame adds a twist to this final gym, or if she goes for straight-up ball-busting difficulty. Or both.

Ayy lmao guys we did it. The last gym got completed today omg gosh we’re so close omg ahhh. Can’t wait to see what comes next

Yeah, no. Dont forget post-game content has to be implemented as well, so it'll take quite a while. Plus the E4 and probably at least two plot twists would have to be implemented too, soo... (Cyborg Ame fires her mouth-laser at hydreigon)

We have Naganadel. If we have a such strong pokemon for singles, it means we are going to face some of the hardest battles ever thought, so we'll probably get strong megas like Blaziken or Scizor while still not having access to Metagross, Gengar, or Salamence. I'm really hyped, I hope that the "infamous" gauntlet battle was just a taste of ep19's difficulty

That's news to me. I can't imagine why we're given such a pokemon this early, but as it is the case, we'll probably get access to nearly every Mega-stone (maybe except Gengar and Salamence, and possibly Kangaskan, Metagross as well) before the league.

i would either use mega chomp mega blaziken or for a solid wall with a touch of oomph behind it: mega aggron, blaziken is a problem even without mega when used properly i have mine with bulk up blaze kick brave bird and double kick in the event i see a mon that has sturdy........ combo that with speed boost with or without mega and thats power imo but thats just what i'd do so take it as u will

Besides, who knows which mega stones we'll get before these fights. Some megas are near busted, you know.
