If i were to go for second types, i would be limited to only using Pokémon that are weak to all second types Noel's team has to offer, which would be fighting, psychic, flying and fairy. They would need to be weak to all 4 of these types. Not many Pokémon fit that bill....Counting only Pokémon i could have up to that point.....Stufful and Bewear would be the only possible choices, if i am not misaken....

Which brings me back to the fact that there are no types weak to normal. So there are only 3 things i can do here:

1. End the run, as i am unable to have a Pokémon weak to normal.

2. Don't count Noel's gym and just bash him with my strongest Mons.

3. Make up a special rule just for this gym, which is the option i chose: Fight normal with normal!

What about using Ghost-types all holding Ring Targets? He can hit you, you can't hit him.

Well, I guess there's few surefire methods. Maybe at later gyms where the options are wider you'll get more consistent strategies. Wonder how you'd make such a challenge compatible with the league in ep19

I played Reborn in almost every way possible. From just normal playthroughs to the worst kind of self imposed challenges you could put on yourself, including several kinds of nuzlocke variants....

Also, i beat Corey.... Who'd think that picking Granbull, Leavanny, Pansage and Carnivine could be this effective.....i also had Tangela and Swirlix with me, but they didn't get to be used XD

Next up is Shelly, and i'm really curious to find out how much destruction Pansage is going to bring to the stage there XD

I beat Julia with a Goldeen (technically weak against electric type) that has the Lightning Rod ability.

As for Florinia i went for my Goldeen and my starter, a Froakie, which by that point obviously was a Frogadier, as well as a Sudowoodo and an Onix.

Right now i am on my way through Japser and Beryl and already planing out what i'm about to do with Corey....

It's not that because they can walk above ground means that they can't hide underground too. Those devious things survived scorched earth-tactics, so it's arguable they can switch between the two to adapt to the situation. It also doesn't get Ingrain, so its roots wouldn't be particularly deep either.

Ame was VERY mad when we "accidently created" Tourmaline Desert and Byxbysion Wasteland while exterminating Budew in these regions.....

Fighting weeds by burning the leaves does not remove the roots...it will only allow them to sprout uncontested after. That's probably why they still proliferated. And since Budew are poison-types, they resist toxins.

Maybe you should've used a Salazzle instead.

Nintendo is quite large, and I'm not sure her having made a Pokémon fan game will sit well with the investors/current board of directors. Companies are politics, too.

Better off running a grassroots campaign as a third party, and focus efforts on convincing smaller states with low turnout numbers to stay cost-effective. Those might be easier to convince not to choose between...whatever they're getting now.

But I digress, hopefully the dev team doesn't get split between campaign-running and code-optimising

Persona 3-5 speak for themselves and i also really liked Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth as well.....probably because that game had some minor similarities to Persona XD

Well, much worse than now is pretty hard, I guess. Why the hell not run as a third party?

Atlus might be cool, they might be able to make the animations look better with strong art direction. And maybe some better implementations of side mechanics.

But to not divert too much, hope Cass isn't frying their brain on the code again

I was not sure if this should be in Bug Reports, Reborn City or the Onyx Wasteland, but since it's related to Reborn Development I thought opening a topic here for it. It is quite niche tho, but could be fun.

For anyone who has had the fortune to work with Pokemon Essentials, what were the most "fun" experiences with it...let's just say working "less than optimally"? For examples, one can look at some of the Reborn Development Blog-posts, but anything nonsensical, bizarre or maddeningly-funny-in-hindsight would be great. For educational purposes, of course. And giggles.

If the development progress of the sidequests shows anything though, it'll be more enticing than hunting them in Insurgence (which was a lot of fun, just exploring what kind of fun things might yet to be uncovered. Reborn can't quite rely on deltas tho, but scattered remaining/failed PULSE projects could be a source of plenty enjoyable encounters. Looking at you Bigglesworth).

The reason they won't is bc they might not get a proper chance to do so when word gets out on the internet that 'Pokemon Reborn is finished'... The Pokemon Uranium-story, if one recalls. Nintendo is...very strict about these things. I might not go for the collect-a-thon either, but I don't think Reborn could get a (proper) postgame if they released it separatedly.
