Jesse
Cana covered her mouth with both hands and nodded energically to show she got Jesse´s message. Then she ran to the middle of the room and waved her arms to get the guards´ attention.
"Hey hey, misters! Do you want to play a game?" she asked excitedly. One of the men sighed, visibly tired from the day, but another one shook his head and smiled, deciding to play along. "Sure Cana, no problem. What shall it be?"
The girl clapped her hands and smiled back. "Let´s do a staring contest, you three against me! Don´t worry,I´m not afraid of taking you all on." She said with a defiant look. The man who spoke to her laughed, signaled for the others to roll along with it and answered. "Ok, then here we go!"
It didn´t take 20 seconds. Before Jesse could understand what happened all three men where laying on the floor, deeply asleep, while Cana turned to him with a triumphant look on her face. "Right, they won´t bother us now! Wanna play staring contest too?"
Bargus
Haze lifted an eyebrow, visibly interested. "Well well, it´s great that none of you were hurt in the process, but judging by your performance earlier that shouldn´t come as a surprise. And after that, what did you do with the attacker? I´d like to take a look at him, if possible.
Jarvis & Rhaeza
The captive looked surprised, but still suspicious. He didn´t take Rhaeza´s hand, but instead used the opening to roll backwards and put a few meters between him and the werewolf."Don´t give me that. I´ve been given an exact description of you, and you´re still trying that kind of tactics? Well, that won´t work." And then, as if forgetting the situation he was in, it was his turn to shoot questions. "What do you plan to accomplish by attacking the Alliance?"
Gabriel
It didn´t take long afterwards for the little group to start dispersing. First to leave were the humans, then Iceliste, Juliet and the angels, leaving Ledoroch alone with Gabriel. The blue demon started preparing for leaving as well, but before that he looked deep in Gabriel´s eyes. "Listen Gabriel, I was serious before. I mean, when I said you could come to me for help anytime. No matter what kind of problem you have, I´ll try my best to find a cure, I promise."
He packed his last things and looked at the street with vacant eyes. "This world´s already seen too much suffering. I vowed to do what I can to fix things, but it´s a job that will take more than just one generation and more than just one race. If I help you now, I´m sure someday you´ll end up repaying that favour to someone else."

Bargus
Haze frowned upon hearing the glove´s description. "No, I haven´t heard about any such thing. I did find about the cases concerning 'magic theft' in the city when I was researching about possible threats to the little miss, but that´s the first time I hear about the device used for that. Were did you get this information?"

Gabriel
Iceliste sat straight in her chair and smiled, clearly happy to speak of her academy. "Oh, lots of things! We have classes on many different magic areas, divided by practical application. We are also implementing a research facility inside the school, and trying to promote exchanges with other schools. I actually based much of our structure on Avalon´s, with the one difference that we don´t offer military oriented magic courses."
Around then Shelly climbed the stairs with a tray filled with cups of chocolate. The sweet scent soon filled the area as she distributed the cups by the students. "That´s good to hear! That should be the mindset of these new times: focus on peace, coexistance, and building a brighter for our kids." Shelly commented, having heard what Iceliste said. Then she looked over her shoulder on Gabriel´s direction. "Right Hannah?"
Behind Gabriel was a little girl, probably a bit younger than what he looked. She had blond hair, purple eyes, the tipical elven pointy ears and (even more surprising than how she got there undetected) two little white wings on her back. Half angels were pretty rare, considering how closed their civilization in Myriad was, but Shelly´s daughter was clearly one such case.
When adressed, she ran all the way back to the stairs and disappeared on the first floor, making her mother giggle. "I´m sorry, she´s really shy." Shelly apologized, still half laughing. "But she looks like she´s taken a liking to you, it´s not that easy for her to get close to other people, even if in a sneaky way like that." she said to Gabriel.

Bargus
A bit later, Haze opened the door. "Oh Mr. Bargus, good to see you." He said, stepping into the corridor and closing the door behind him. "The little miss is finishing her bath now, but nothing that my subordinates can´t handle. Hopefully. How can I help you?"
Jesse
Haze closed the door right after Jesse entered the room, leaving it to his three employees. They were looking kind of gloomy - probably they´ve heard a word or two from Haze about attacking people on the streets without understanding the situation fully. The bathroom´s door was closed, and the sound of the shower had just died inside there.
The room was pretty standard, just like theirs. One of the lockers was open, and the thugs´ weapons were stored there. There was also another one with a big trunk overflowing with books - and some toys as well - but no sign of Haze´s guns.
The bathroom door opened suddenly, and an angry looking Cana stepped out of it, wrapped in a pink robe that did nothing to add to that look. She mumbled something about her butler´s fixation for baths and then, suddenly, looked straight at Jesse with a surprised and happy, look. "Ooooi, hey Mr. Angel! Have you come here to play?" That just made the thugs look around, then at each other, and shrug, seeing no one else in the room.
Karol, Misara
As Misara wandered through the city she eventually ended up in an entrance for the part of it inside the mountain, a complex archway carved in the blueish white stone. There was a constant flux of workers coming in and out of the passage, and a sign on the wall indicated the Marblegate Magic Studies Meeting complex. Before she could enter though, Karol appeared from another street, apparently looking for someone.
Jarvis, Rhaeza
The captured man spat on the floor and kept the challenging look in his eyes, despite the situation. "Someone tasked with stopping you rebels. You think you can get away with what you´re doing? Well, Marblegate won´t be as easy as Shadowveil and The Thousand. We won´t stand by idly while you keep your futile attempts to break the Alliance, you murderers!"
Lucille
The captive angel gulped, realizing Lucille was serious about braking his legs. The way she spoke would be frightening enough even without the huge Dire Bear under her command. He looked to his own hand, or what was left of it, with a pained expression and was about to say something, but reconsidered and quieted down again.
((Strat, you and Krim can handle your meeting.))
Jorgen
"No problem at all. Just take this card, there´s a spell in it that will allow me to contact you in case I need." he said, handing Jorgen a blue card with the Marblegate City Guard´s emblem engraved, an archway with two spears crossed in front of it. "It works the other way around as well, so if you´re ever assaulted again don´t exitate to call us."
After that another officer took Jorgen to the exit, leaving him free to go.

What I´ve been feeling is that some scenes are going faster than others. But again, that´s a minor issue as of now, if you compare to stuff like Ymora XD.
Aaaanyway, the post is in the works guys, just today was hella crazy with school work and exams. Tomorrow morning most likely I´ll have it all written.

Soorry guys, I was travelling again so I didn´t get the time to post lately. As Tachibana pointed out, this might be getting a bit too fast for some people (and that´s something I´ve been thinking for some time Tachi, it´s not just you that might have this problem.) So, what do you say if we slow a down a bit? I´ll refrain from posting in a scene until everyone involved on it has answered or made clear that no answer is needed, and I ask that you guys also try to not carry on too fast.
Can we give it a try?

Gabriel
"So what about everyone else? Not everyone said what they were here for.."
"Well, we live here." Arael said smiling, referring to the angels "We are all apprentices under different crafters* - it just happens our masters´ ateliers are close to each other. I study energy healing, Nephilim is a summoner and Conah is trying to master arcane magic."
After Arael, it was Iceliste´s turn to speak, with the typical hissing in the end of her sentences.
"I come from Izdaz, a city in the base of the Desolation Peaks to the West. My specialty is magic items crafting, but I´m not doing any research on it right now. Actually, I´m kind of in the same situation of Lerodoch, trying to get some partnerships for the magic school we have over there, Izdaz Academy. I´m it´s principal, so I couldn´t let the opportunity slip."
"Heey, I heard of that place! It´s one of the few magic schools of the Monstrous Races, right? Ando you´re the principal? Talk about cool!"" The human Rian said cheerfully. "Well, me and Max here come from Jewel, the mining city to the north. We´re doing research about minerals with magical properties, but honestly we decided to come more because of the trip itself than anything else."
Raziel
"My shift has just started, so I´m staying here till 10pm. I´ll let my replacement know about your case if you don´t come until then, so don´t worry." the guard answered.
Jorgen
A few minutes later, they had arrived at the guard station. It was located in the ground floor of the angelic army´s building, a huge and imposing skyscraper covered in mirrors. The officer that brought Jorgen left him in a waiting room and went to talk with his superior. Moments later, he got back with an older looking angel, tipical blond hair and blue eyes, but strong for one of his race.
"Ah, so that´s him." he said raising an eyebrow. "Take him to the interrogation room, I´ll just have to handle something before."
Jorgen was taken to a clean, empty and totally white room were waited again, though it didn´t take long for the chief to appear again, apologizing for the delay. He asked again the standard questions about Jorgen´s background, what had happened, how the attacker looked like and such - all in all, the whole process was faster than Jorgen expected.
"And that will be all for the moment." the boss angel said while getting up. "We might need to question you again though, depending on how the investigation goes. Where can we find you if we need to, sir?"
Lucille
After a bit of walking, Lucille heard a groan coming from Bora´s back - more specifically, the prisoner lying over it´s back. The angel opened his eyes slowly, seeming completely disoriented. "...What... Where am I...?"
*((The term "Crafter" for angels refers to master mages who are focused on research and the creation of new spells and magic techniques. Marblegate is filled with crafters´ ateliers))

" Possible. But don´t worry too much, I believe your story due to... circumstances. We´ll just try to clear out what happened at the station, please understand."
He then waved his hand and a pair of glowing rings appeared around Jorgen´s wrists. Clearly no conventional handcuff, although the cyborg couldn´t tell just how strong they were. "Shall we get going?"

Ledoroch scratched the back of his head, a bit reluctant to tell him. "Well, you see... My clan is known for being one of the strongest with blood magic. It runs in the family, so most Deargs are way more powerful than your average blood mage. As you can imagine that gave us quite the renown during the war, in a way that I... don´t like much. That´s why I chose to speciallize in medicine by the way."
Jorgen
"... Uhmn, I didn´t see any such a person back there." said the officer to Jorgen. Then he turned to his subordinates. "You both go after this guy, I´ll take the gentleman here to the station so we can clear the matter."
That said, he turned back to Jorgen. "Sorry to ask this, but may I handcuff you? Standard procedures, you know."

Gabriel
"Yep, there´s people like that everywhere, even nowadays. I´m sure you guys heard about the murders of Alliance politicians in Shadowveil and The Thousand... Don´t you think here could be the next target?" said.
"Jeez, don´t say things like that!" spoke Iceliste, the lizard-girl. "It attracts bad luck."
"Hehe, it´s weird hearing a scholar talking about things such as luck. Anyway, I don´t think we´re in much danger, after all we´re students, not politicians. Even though the Dearg clan is a famous one, I believe we simply don´t suit the attacker´s tastes." Arael, one of the angels, answered.
Raziel
The guard just raised an eyebrow. "Yes, this is an Alliance facility, and that´s exactly why I can´t let you in without checking, sir." He then took something that looked like a small clipboard from his pocket. A moment later it shone with a blue light and a screen appeared from it, which the guard scrolled down until he recognized something. He then looked back at Raziel and said. "Yep, looks like you´re in the list sir. But someone mispelled your name, it´s written Raziel in here. Go on please, and sorry for the trouble."
Jorgen
"...I had been jumped in an alleyway by an angel with a mysterious glove claiming he wanted to try his new stolen magic on me and, well, I was triggered."
That piece of information seemed to interest the angel officer quite a bit, as his semblance changed instantly after hearing what Jorgen said. "Stolen Magic? But when we entered the alley there was no one else there. How did the guy look like?" He started aking, clearly wanting more details.
Rhaeza e Jarvis
"Uhmnpf!-" the man struggled a bit before realizing he was in no situation to fight, then nodded and let Rhaeza carry him, still with an angry look in his eyes.

^ True. I tend to generally use only the last thing spoken by another character on the quoted post.
Also Typh and Tachibana, you guys can make Jesse and Lisa meet the others at the hotel if you want to.
EDIT: Also CG, can you tell me if you plan on having Misara walk around the city more or just find them in the hotel too?

Bargus, Misara & Karol
Haze´s icy blue eyes followed Misara as she walked away. Whatever train of thought he was having by then was interrupted by Kana´s reaction to Karol and Bargus, though.
"Yey!" Kana shouted, excited by the news "We can play together can´t we, Mr. Haze?"
"Of course Kana, as long as you don´t bother them." Haze answered with a gentle smile. "It´s a pleasure to meet you. Shall we get going then? It´s getting late."
Raziel
The guard raised an eyebrow. "Vermillio as in the demon commander? Yeah, that bastard´s given us more trouble than any other in the war. What of it?" Then, with a suspicious look on his face he asked again. "What´s your name?"
Gabriel
Juliet raised an eyebrow. "Wow, that´s impressive! My research isn´t on the medical field though, I´m working on ways to tranfer energy without the use of wires. Our tech on this field is far too limited and there´s a chance that with magic we can enhance it. It´s going a bit slow, but I´m sure we´ll get there eventually!" she said, smiling.
"Humn, that´s interesting. You´d need advanced space control magic to make it work with total efficiency, and it could relate to Lord Qaspiel´s Portal research*. You know, how all of Myriad´s mana - or life energy, or whatever you call it - is believed to flow through them from the other worlds." Conah said. He then put a hand on his chin and grinned "You know, if someone told me a month ago that I´d be having a friendly conversation with humans, monsters and demons about magic research, and actually learning stuff, I´d most likely laugh on the person´s face. I guess our people have to review some ideas we have about other races."
Jorgen
The city guard caught up with Jorgen fast and surrounded him. "You! Don´t move" said the one seemingly in charge, a dark haired, black eyed fellow-pretty unusual appearence for an angel. He then signaled for one of his subordinates to search him, and while the other was doing it, kept asking. "Identify yourself, and tell us why did you flee."
Jarvis & Rhaeza
While Jarvis was getting his water (accompanied by a remark from the barkeep about how almost no one there bought that kind of stuff) the captive seemed to start to wake up, slowly opening his eyes and taking in what had happened.
*((Cultural Note 2: Qaspiel is one of the four founders of the alliance, and the one who led research on controlling the permanent World Portals existent in the three Gate Cities (Marblegate, The Thousand and Shadowveil). A mix of magic and human tech, only completed after the formation of the Alliance, his work allows to control where the Portals open to.))

Misara, Karol & Bargus
"Why does the little kid even need a bodyguard? Surely her parents or something are more than enough."
"She´s an orphan." Haze answered lowering his gaze. " I´m sure having someone to guard her in a foreign city isn´t that uncommon. But I do understand your concern, and apreciate it."
Haze then kneeled and looked straight at Kana. "Little miss, don´t you think this is enough playing already? You´re causing trouble to the ladies and gentleman here."
"Humn!" Kana at first stomped the floor with her little right foot and looked away, in a stubborn gesture. But, after a few moments of Haze´s clear gaze, she lowered her head and faced the floor, as if ashamed. "...Sorry Misses and Mister..." She said, walking by herself to Haze´s side. He patted her head and smiled when she arrived, which was responded by her showing him her tongue. Then she faced Misara´s group again and smiled too. "It was fun though! You guys are so strong!"
The guards watched all this bewildered - in fact, the short one was facepalming - and the one who seemed to be in command snapped. "What? No way, after all this confusion you foreigners are all coming to the station. Drop your weapons and come now!"
"That won´t be necessary, officer." Haze said, pulling a piece of paper from his pocket and showing the guard. He looked surprised, and cast a spell to check the thing´s autenticity. Although he didn´t like it, it seemed he was convinced. "All right, all right. Just don´t get in any more trouble for God´s sake." He gestured to his subordinate to follow him and walked away.
"Well, good. Which hotel are you all staying at? We´re at Central Hotel." Haze asked.
Gabriel
"Well, if you want to tell me more about it later I´ll se what I can do. Or if you ever drop by Shadowveil you can go to the Dearg Clan house to have treatment." Lerodoch answered, deciding not to press on the matter.
Then Juliet spoke up. "Avalon is that academy on the West, by the Glass Sea, isn´t it? You must be really talented to be studying there at your age! What are you researching there?"
Raziel
There was an angel with a city guard uniform guarding the entrance to the building. He held a golden spear about his own size, and crossed it in front of Raziel to block his passage when he approached. "Sorry sir, but only autorized personel can enter here. Please state your business and identify yourself."

Ok, back from the break.
I´m sorry it turned out that way Huk, but do what you think is best. The whole point of this is to enjoy ourselves and, if that´s not happening, then no problem at all. Just keep in mind it was never my intention, nor I think it was anyone´s to disrespect you. For me it´s the opposite actually, you´re one of the writers I admire the most among the ones I had the pleasure to meet. Sorry friend.
But hey, moving on! Glad to see Lisa back in action! And now that the alley party is over, I´m back to doing a hella ton updates! Yey!

Ok, party is over
A moment later three guards went past the place where the team had knocked down the magic thief, shouting and pointing at the figure jumping on the rooftops. It was pretty obvious that they´ve fallen for Jorgen´s bait, leaving the way free for Lucille and Raziel.
Now, Jorgen on the other hand had a problem: his pursuers had wings. Although he was pretty fast himself and had a headstart, the angels were steadily closing in. Eventually they would end up on the city walls, where he had nowhere else to jump, or in the city inside the mountain...
Misara, Bargus, Karol ((People who left the alleyway party group can already join in if the want to.))
"Nah, I was just doing some shopping and thought I'd show off what a Sniper Rifle can do. Bargus wanted to put on a light show and Missy wanted to show off her fancy toothpick." ((#acidKarol strikes XD))
The man smiled at them "Well, it´s heart warming to see the world still has people that willing to help others. I´m sorry if my subordinates had you thinking we meant ill, but this is just a misunderstanding." He scratched the back of his head, as if apologizing. "The little miss over there is called Cana Kefraas, and she is here to attend the student meeting. I´m Haze, her bodyguard." He paused a bit for the information to sink. "We were going back to ou hotel for her to take a bath, but the little miss hates water. Then she just ran away when we got distracted."
Gabriel
"I wonder, what about, say, illnesses people are born with? I know those have always been difficult to truly cure, since technically the body isn't sick; it's just naturally in poor condition, in a manner of speaking."
"It depends on the symptoms. If they´re related to the blood´s composition, it´s actually pretty easy to treat. For example, a case of anemia is easily solvable by increasing iron concentration in the bloodstream. We are also developing ways of treating hormone related diseases. Do you have an specific case im mind?"
((I assume Jarvis and Rhaeza have more talking to do before moving on?))

Bargus, Karol, Misara
The thug didn´t expect a reaction that fast. Because of Bargus´ flames, his teammates couldn´t use the window created by Karol aiming at him; the angel officers were just preparing their spells yet and to boot, there was a sword coming at blinding speed towards his arm.
Just then, they heard the sound of metal crashing into metal as something deflected both the bullet and the sword. The thug fell to the floor, rolling sideways out of the danger line as Misara took the girl, and looked around confused.
The white haired man had arrived, holding in his hands two pitch black pistols. The air tensed for a moment while he stared with icy blue eyes at each of the fighters, but then he just put them back in their holsters, smiled and raised his hands. "Ok, ok, why don´t we calm down a bit? By the way you´re acting, it seems to me you´re actually just trying to protect the kids from the bad guys, right?" He asked Misara´s group.
Jarvis & Rhaeza
The man was tall, young and strong, but still was unable to break free from Jarvis. He fought for quite a while but eventually stopped moving, seemingly unconcious.
He was wearing jeans and a social shirt, and had no weapons to be seen. There was a wallet with a little money on his pocket, but nothing other than that to help identify him.
Alleyway Party
Soon after Jesse left the rest of them started hearing voices coming from the mais street.
"...They went that way officer! There was a man with metallic parts and a girl with a huge bear! They seemed dangerous."
"Thank you very much. Follow me guards!"
It was pretty obvious that this whole mess had caught the city guard´s attention, and they were about to arrive.Gabriel
"I mean, there are cures that target or work through the blood, but using actual blood magic to heal people? That's intriguing, although it does sound kinda dangerous..."
"It´s actually a bit more complicated than usual bllod magic. Most demons only train to use it as a weapon, controlling their opponents bodies, and other stuff we´ve seen in use on the wars. First aid blood magic is already a bit used, as you probably know, to stop bleedings and closing small wounds, but if you focus on controlling it in a more refined manner, you can alter, to a certain degree, the composition of the blood itself, locate and elliminate sick cells, stabilize the flow and even repair organs internally. It is really difficult to achieve mastery though, and my clan is trying to raise funds to build a med school based on that. Or at least I am." The blue demon answered. Then he extended a hand. "Hello, I´m Lerodoch. These are Rian, Maximilian, Juliet, Iceliste..." he said, pointing to the human brothers, the demi-human and the lizard girl, respectively, then he turned to the angels "...Arael, Nephilim and Conah. Welcome to our little study group."
All of them made one or other gesture to welcome him; the humans smiled, the girls waved at him and the angels nodded respectfully. "So, where are you from? Are you liking Marblegate?" the one named Nephilim asked.

Alley Party
"Deceit won't get you out of this; your pulse will still betray you. I'll take a finger for every lie you try to tell, regardless how small it is, and once you're out of those on your free hand, I'll move on to other parts...parts you''ll miss alot more."Being told that by a blind girl with a Dire Bear was unsettling enough, not to mention Luna´s sinister stare that seemed almost as if it was out of a horror movie. The angel shivered and started talking. "Ok, ok, I´ll tell you. It´s all because of this glove. I´ve ever been weak as a mage, only able to use some basic sigil magic." He seemed pained. "Then a guy gave me this glove and said I could make other´s power mine with it. He was - "
Then the glove started to glow within Raziel´s barrier. It didn´t look like it was work of the angel, as he began to scream in agony. A moment later, the glove erupted in flames and burned at an unnatural speed until only ashes remained - the captive´s hand included. After that, he passed out from the shock.
Jarvis & RhaezaA minute later the man opened the door. He looked around, probably searching for Jarvis, and then started walking towards the alley they were in. He was just around the corner looking like he would pass by the duo without noticing them.
Misara, Karol, Bargus
"This is your last warning. Back off and I'll forget about all of this"
Now with three versus three, the thugs had to stop and think again about using force. Specially looking at Bargus´ flaming axe. The two angel officers, who had already arrived, also looked shocked seeing Karol draw her rifle without any exitation. Than everyone started talking at the same time.
"What? Ok, you are all going to the station right now! Everyone drop your weapons!"
"As if! Can´t you winged dolts see there´s a kidnapping going on here? Get the girl with the sword!"
"And how do we know who are the kidnappers? You three drop your knives immediately!"In the confusion, one of the thugs lunged forward to try and grab the girl.
Gabriel
"...Really? I´d never think of that approach. Guess we don´t know enough about blood magic´s use for treating sicknesses." a white haired angel was saying to the blue demon.
"And that´s just one of it´s uses. I heard a group in The Thousand is using it in the human´s blood transfusion techniques with pretty good results. And you can´t even imagine how much the hospitals in Shadowveil are enjoying their tech for treatment." he answered.
It was then that one of the humans noticed Gabriel. He was about to say something when he noticed the book he was reading and realized the "kid" was there for the meeting, proceeding then to greet him "Hello, what´s your name kid?".

Cana hurried to sit down on the other side of the table, then assumed a dignified air that actually looked plain funny on her childish face. "Good evening, Mr. Angel. Why don´t you come in and have some tea?" She welcomed him with a lower key voice and carried her movements a bit to much deribelately, trying to imitate Haze. "I´m miss Cana Vitalos, High Directress of Ravenmere Magic Academy and the best mage the world has ever seen! I welcome you to my humble dominion." She said, bowing exagerately.

"No, I haven´t. Maybe we could talk this over over some food then? And if in any case you can contact your friends, I´d like very much to have a word with them about this case."
