    I don't understand why spammers are advertising British universities in Chinese text on a predominantly American forum.

      Because a lot of college age students play pokemon.

       

      But these Chinese University help companies are REALLY shady. My sis's ex got conned by one of them and they specifically seem to target Chinese students studying abroad.

      tbh when you put one of the texts through google translate (which got improved a lot thanks to technology derived from AlphaGo, still wonky af) they are offering to fake diplomas for said universities.
