Pokemon Go was the worst thing to happen to the franchise. The actual main games are getting lazier and lazier while Nintendo instead puts all its efforts into pumping out mobile spinoff after mobile spinoff in a doomed effort to recapture the viral success of Go (whose success ironically was short-lived because of terrible mismanagement. Good job.). Even the Mystery Dungeon remake was low effort.
At least Snap 2 might be good. Maybe. We'll see.

I was made aware recently that the images and downloads of these things were broken, so they should be fixed now. I put all 18 of them in one place this time, I don't know what I was thinking earlier having 18 separate download links.
-
You know, I was never comfortable with the fact he was playing such a heavily modded version of the game. The reason I care about Youtubers playing this game is that it’s essentially advertising, and when he’s playing a version of the product that isn’t accurate to the actual product, it undermines the whole purpose.
And now we’re here, this dumb mod crashed the game at what would have been the funniest moment. Not a good look for the game.

Uh Dreamblitz you made a point to tell him the Pokemon to buy for the Mega-Z Ring but didn't tell him to get all of them anyway (cuz he's mentioned wanting a Lucky Egg)? The Lucky Egg is the one he's actually in danger of missing out on since as far as I'm aware, those Pokemon are still there after you return to the city. I'd get back to him on that cuz he's gonna pass the point of no return in two episodes at this rate.EDIT: Lol I typed that while watching the video, looks like he figured it out on his own. Maybe. Although he needs to either A) be told about the itemfinder and how many shards you can get from it or B) be told to just soft reset mining rocks to get what he wants. I don't know exactly how many of each shard he has, or if he's gonna make it at this rate.
Also you should tell him about the online Voltorb Flip calculator so he can grind casino coins quicker, or he's gonna miss Silvally too.
Also he's mentioned wanting to buy X items, well he CAN get those now but not without being directed the stickers he's missing.
-
As soon as he stops doing the "nuzlocke", his luck gets drastically worse and he loses every major fight in the game multiple times (even Bennet. BENNET beat him multiple times.)
Really makes you think, huh.
-
"There's NO WAY he wins the next boss fight first try"
"Okay he won that boss fight first try but there's NO WAY he wins the next boss fight first try"
I mean he actually is gonna lose to Garchomp but that doesn't count
-
Get near perfect luck on Confusion. The one time he hits himself "I SWEAR THE RNG IS RIGGED AGAINST THE PLAYER IN THIS GAME"

Dang I've been playing Reborn wrong this whole time. I should have blind-nuzlocked it and not even touched the field effect readouts. I'd have first-tried every fight.
-
At this point I've found myself hoping for him to get wiped, because maybe if he un-nuzlockes the game he'll learn to read. Read the field effects, all the stuff Dreamblitz put in the discord that he clearly is ignoring, maybe even read my sticker guide.
By the way Dreamblitz you should tell him that Corey kills himself in either timeline, he still blames himself for that. Or maybe you did and he skipped it too.

Hey remember when I said he needed to read the WHOLE field effect

Lol no I saw the twist coming from a mile away.
Anyway Mr. Info, you should probably tell him about the field-change rooms. To Thamill's credit I feel like this is a badly designed introduction to them, you need to know how the Crystal Field works to GET the info on the Crystal Field. To not his credit, he saw what he had to do earlier but wasn't paying attention.
-
Remember earlier when I mentioned he was showing signs of going the way Shofu did with the field effects? Well here we are. "You guys told me I could have done X to make the fight easier but I DON'T CARE THE GAME SUCKS" is exactly what Shofu said multiple times.
Hey "Idea Guy", by the next video it won't be a spoiler that Shelly's field is something he already has the readout for. You should tell him to go back and read it for real this time. In particular he's gonna call bullshit on what it does with Anorinth's Telluric Seed.
-
Hey mystery info guy, I'd advise him to read the whole field effect readout next time.

Just to keep track of how lucky this man is, we've got:
- Sand Tomb missing 3 times in a row, where it would have probably killed someone each time it was used
- Kiki not hitting herself in confusion, which would have probably got his entire team killed if she had
- Would have lost Jaques if that final gust had a lower damage roll
Am I missing anything?

I mean him taking ages to find the door to the room where Fern was is an example of this.
Forget that, how about the time he didn't notice there were more than 8 gym leaders despite it being advertised on the download page?
If you're too vague about something he'll never find it and you'll have wasted your time.
-
Oh right, I'd also mention that every gym leader* has their field notes available somewhere BEFORE you fight them, so he should never be going into a gym match unprepared, should he want to actually succeed at nuzlocking this game.
*except Noel for some reason. And anyone whose field can be set on fire. I don't know why Ame put those two field notes so late in the game.

He went in the department store and STILL missed the whole sticker sidequest thing...
Anyway I'm not this "mysterious person" feeding him info, but if I was, or if that person was reading this, I'd add:
- How to get those field readouts he missed
- To read that darn Pulse Dex he was just handed (it's Shofu and the field effects all over again, seriously. DON'T LET IT BE SHOFU AND THE FIELD EFFECTS ALL OVER AGAIN. We already saw the beginnings of that this episode with Cacnea's Sand Veil)
- Link to my sticker guide
- Point out how and why Nature Power is actually really good in this game (he doesn't have anyone who can use it yet, but just let him know)
- Point out that he never got Opal Ward's static encounter, and the Magikarp for sale is an amazing choice (leave out the wild goose chase he'll be sent on, it'll be hilarious)
- In the same vein, point out the Onyx Rooftop and that the Pokemon from the Casino count as static encounters
- A warning that he'll miss out on content if he doesn't find all 5 police officers before a certain point
- A challenge to be as lucky as he was this time on the rest of the game

Yeah, it's the dude next to Nurse Joy who wasn't there earlier. Thamill walks right past him at the end of the video.

True, but some of the Field Effect Read-Outs are (more or less) well hidden. The one for Desert Field in the Onyx Trainer School for example. You have to talk to that one guy specificly while standing on the right side next to him. If you talk to him from above what would make you think he would say or do anything different if you stand to the right side and talk to him again?
I'm not faulting him for missing them, just saying he needs to find them if he's so dead-set on this challenge mode where he has to win every fight on his first try. If he doesn't read the Desert Field notes in particular, he risks:
> Losing Tiki to field-boosted Sand Tomb because he didn't even consider it'd be a threat, especially if he doesn't notice the Super Potion guy
> Losing someone to an attack he didn't expect to be field-boosted, like Needle Arm or Pin Missile
> Missing out on Kiki's Sand Attack being actually useful for once
And that's just for his next fight, much less the rest of the game.
I am faulting him for missing the department store though it was my big chance to be relevant and he walked right the frick past it
-
Had time to watch the whole video, he really did walk right past the department store
Well it's good that we finally have a youtuber who actually looks at the field effect guide! He missed four of them though, and one of them is for Florina's field which he's REALLY gonna want to see. Maybe a
should tell him about those... and the fact that he can use common candies, too.
-
I currently don't have time to watch the whole thing; did he REALLY just walk past the department store?
Well if he did, let him know about it and also my sticker guide. I just updated it to be more spoiler-safe for new players like him.

He hasn't lost a Pokemon yet and I don't feel like watching old videos looking for a death, so does someone who actually follows him know if he releases Pokemon when they die? Or just box them? If he boxes them he could pick them back up when (if?) he runs out of Pokemon and the Nuzloke becomes impossible. If he releases them we have a problem.
Also HOW has he still not put 2 and 2 together on common candies? It's one thing to just be dumb, but every other comment is screaming it at him and he doesn't pre-record these.
-
This guy isn't the brightest bulb in the box is he?
>haha why would anyone use a Common Candy it lowers a Pokemon's level, how useless
>oh no my Pokemon is too high level and won't listen to me! Whatever will I do? If only there was a workaround to this!
>oh hey cool the game handed me an explanation on field effects including one for the boss I'm about to fight
>lemme just not read it
Inb4 he continues to complain about a lack of grinding spots even after unlocking the re-battle trainers. Although I don't think the game explicitly tells you about that so it'd be more understandable.
-
This is actually hilarious, I didn't even know such hijinks could be found before Julia- no, before even meeting Fern. I'm looking forward to what laughs are to had when he actually gets into the game.
>Local man thinks he's gonna nuzlocke Reborn blind
>People warn him
>He tells them they're wrong because he beat the tutorial battle
>Spends all his money on a Premier ball and 3 Potions
>Two seconds in, almost dies to a Ducklett
>Uses all 3 Potions to survive the Ducklett
>Now he's out of items and money
>Has big brained new plan: "I'll just level grind a bunch". Doesn't realize yet how restrictive the level cap is
>Now he's overlevel before Julia and has to spend the money he gets back on Common Candies*
Of course it'll stop being funny if he actually quits the game after getting wiped... When he almost lost to Ducklett he said something like "see you guys in the next game haha" and I'm not sure if he was joking.
*This actually hasn't happened yet, in fact it could be even worse: he could spend all his money on more Potions and be unable to buy Common Candies.

Plz don't tell me this is gonna end up like Shofu. This game just can't catch a break when it comes to youtuber publicity.
