Why is high school football like this? A ref had a seizure and died on the field and they just carried him off in an ambulance and kept playing. What the actual fuck?!?

In a case like that, the only thing you really can do is acknowledge that it happened and then go on with your life
In this case going on means continuing to play. I highly doubt anyone was outright ignoring it, there's just nothing they could do to change it
