The server is back online. I apologize to those who missed it for the inconvenience and to those who wanted it to stay down for reviving it.
But, that's no reason to take the server away from others.
I know there's a lot of chaos right now, for no real reason. I haven't quite figured out how to resolve everything, but there will be some policy changes, and there will be stricter enforcement.

That said it is regrettable to see Kitty leave again. And anyone else who might. I would prefer to find ways to arrange things so that everyone is comfortable to stay here. If you have any personal problems or suggestions, I encourage you to speak with me individually, be it through IM, PM on the site or server, whatever, and I'll see what I can do
One rule for sure is being added that sexual content in the server will no longer be tolerated. There may be more to follow.
Additionally, we have gained a new affiliate in PokeChamps, a developing gaming/graphics and Pokemon website. Their banner will appear on our page shortly.
There is no civil war. There may be a staff reshuffle. We're not dying. This is not the end.

Honestly, I don't think we're dying anytime soon. We've actually never had this sort of a memberbase before, nor have we ever had a live server or gym challenge. The gym challenge itself will go on hiatus when 5th gen is officially released into PO, but the site and server will keep running. If they see decreased use, that's fine. I have little doubt that it will be Reborn again once the challenge restarts.
But I agree. To the rest of it- why is everybody so animous lately? Any ideas?

There seems to be no error when functioning in signatures, but it is possible that I failed to account for a horizontal overflow.

That doesn't seem to be so. Having tested this, it appears that the scroll tag is fully functional in signatures. Bullet, if you're still having trouble, I can attempt to insert it into yours manually. -
Team Neo's challenge aside, Team Neo may serve as our partner against Mysidia and Dream League. Does anyone have any objections to this?

Mysidia offered us a spot in a 2 on 2 forum war yesterday. Because there are some mixed opinions on the issue, we need to determine
1- Are we interested
2- Who would our partner be
3- Which 5 of us would battle?

Firstly, in accordance with the client update, a Reborn version of 0.9.90 has been released. This version features all the install of the original client, with the Reborn-League graphics pre-installed. Sadly, this is for Windows only. Mac users will have to download [url="http://www.pokemonreborn.com/ts.zip"]this file[/url] and install it into Pokemon Online > db > Trainer Sprites manually. For assistance with this, please contact our member N8theGr8.
The Reborn Installation can be found at the link at the top left of the forums.
Users who have already installed the Reborn League graphics into the update manually should be aware that one leader's artwork has been updated. This update can be found by redownloading the linked file above, or by replacing the single image linked below.

The weekend schedule was less that impressive this past week, with only two battles able to be played on Sunday, and the Friday/Saturday's bulk being squandered. Therefore, a new schedule will be readopted. Please review the changes and scheduling for the following week

Fri-Sun: 8:00-3:00
Mon-Thu: 10:30-12:00
Friday: No league
Normal schedule will be Mon-Fri 10:30-12:00
All weeks hereafter should run Mon-Fri 10:30-12
Challengers will be allowed one battle per night. Order will be determined randomly. If you have to leave before your turn, you may ask the people in front of you to go first, or if you do not get to your turn, it is lost. That is regrettable, but due to some misuse in the past, we cannot set exceptions for certain people to go first.

I hadn't planned to announce this just yet, but I may as well:
Challengers who beat the Reborn League will subsequently be granted access to the X League. Officially, it is part of the same league, and therefore battles are conducted using the same registered team and same rules with the slight exception that Gym Leader's X Teams may use Legendary Pokemon. Challengers to the X League will receive a new style of trainer card upon winning their first of the 16* badges.
Yes, kids, the long and hard road to the top just got much longer, and much, much harder.
*Note that Cain does not have any legendary Pokemon available to him, therefore he at this time is not scheduled to return for the X League

Although many of you already know, I have yet to make the official announcement about the school-season's scheduling. As opposed to running weeknights, henceforth, the league will run at the following times
Weekends- Fri, Sat, Sun 8:00 PM- 3:00 AM EST
Challengers will be allowed two challenges per day, and leaders availability will be updated accordingly (expect to see it tomorrow).
Additionally in battle logs, leader-side trainer cards will no longer be posted. Previously this was a convenience we afforded to allow challengers quick access to leaders information, however, as many of the leaders now run multiple, often-changing teams, maintaining the trainer cards in both images and record keeping has become too chaotic a burden to continue this.
All such information is still readily available either through logs, asking previous challengers or scouting leaders battles. You just gotta be resourceful. Honestly, it might be more fun that way. Help each other out- many of you already are.
It seemed like there was more I wanted to say, but I can't remember it now. Yay.

N8's right... I'll update the leaders profile cards with mascots that aren't from the stone age of Reborn. Still, an excellent picture.
I've started doing non-chibi art of the leaders too, but it'll be a while before we see those.

Will, Your Chibi-Garchomp is intense. Not that Solaris isn't.
N8, practice. When I was your age (God, I feel old), I couldn't draw a stick figure standing up straight. Then Science classes happened in high school, wherein I had nothing to do but draw, else I would fall asleep. Draw lots, draw quickly, don't expect to draw well. That part will happen in time.
