  1. * Cave

    • * Cave ceilings now require two uses of the move to collapse.
    • * Cave collapses now happen at the end of the turn rather than before damage calculation.
    • * Pokemon using Endure, or having Sturdy may survive the collapse with 1 HP from full health.
    • * Pokemon with Battle Armor and Shell armor take 50% damage from the collapse.
    • * Pokemon with Solid Rock take 33% damage from the collapse.
    • * Pokemon behind protect moves including Wide Guard, or having Bulletproof, Rock Head or Wonderguard are immune to the collapse damage.
    • * Now transformed into Crystal Cavern by Power Gem or Diamond Storm
    • * Only non-contact Flying-type moves are now reduced in power.
  2. Um, I can't help but notice something. It says that rock types get a 1.5x boost, but then almost immediately afterwards says that the moves Ancientpower, Rock Tomb, Diamond Storm, and Power Gem get a 1.5x boost. Redundancy? Or are we talking a double 1.5 boost here? Because 1.5 doubled is a 3x multiplier, and that's just ridiculous.

    It stacks. And 1.5 x 1.5 = 2.25. Not 3.

it's not "Type X deals mixed type damage".

It is. "Rock attacks gain Y type" implies two types.

  3. This is probably my homeland. Or something.

The next field effect to be revealed is the Crystal Cavern! Click that link or the picture below to see its details.

As players, you've all seen most of the places this is going to show up already. And yes! Rejoice! That means no more Arena Trap-Magnitude helplessly collapsing the cave field on you!

(Although that was solved too since it now takes two EQs/whatevers to collapse the Cave field, and some stuff is resistant to it).

Speaking of changes to other fields, since you won't see the context here:

The field previously known as the Pitch Black field has been relabeled to the aforementioned Dark Crystal Cavern, and can now be temporarily transformed into this Crystal Cavern while the weather is Sunny. ...Or you can just EQ/Bulldoze the crystals and make it a normal cave anyway. Similarly, Power Gem and Diamond Storm will now transform the Cave into this Crystal Cavern.

In other words, they're all potentially interchangeable.

Two more fields for E15 remain...

  4. Some things are best buried forever. Under a bunch of concrete. And other things.

This is probably the first time i've seen someone that wants a delayed episode. Suddenly that "episode 15 for 2019" seems like a good idea.

To stay on topic, i'll ask this: Since Ice moves already get an increase in Base Power in the Snowy Mountain Field, why is Avalanche and Powder Snow also mentioned in the "this moves get an increase in base power"?

Does that means they get even more power?

Yeah, this is true with all fields. The effects stack.

The same thing happens in the Rainbow field with Normal Moves and Secret Power.. Would the double boost apply there also??

Secret Power doesn't get the type-boost; only special normal moves do. Secret Power is physical.

  5. One question: Shouldn't Sunny Day turn the snowy mountain into a normal one after some turns? (eg 4 or 5)

If anything, it should be the opposite. It takes like forever for snow to melt off of mountain peaks, even through sunlight and summer, because it's still so cold up there. Or at least, that's the case for the 14'ers around here.

  6. To clarify on the issue about it lacking her darker side, yeah, it's not her usual coy disposition. But I imagine she really lights up, no pun intended, when it comes to battles. I feel like destroying incoming challengers is one of the few things that could reliably get her to smile.

But the feedback is noted for future things.

  7. Yeah, the whole game was planned out as of E3 and all of the field have been planned as of E13. I don't want to overload the players by adding all of them at once though, and I don't want to make the code so unstable by cramming so much in there without it being tested.

I ain't just makin' stuff up on a whim here.

  8. You people and your obsession with poison-based fields jesus christ.

Can't say I disagree, but it is thematically appropriate for the region. Plus, the disgusting water has been a theme literally since the start of the game.

Fortunately, this will be the last poison one.

  9. Also:

    "Ground attacks always fail"

But Mud Bomb, Mud Shot and Mud Slap get an increase in power? wha?

its because they become poison attacks and still works right?

Sorry, that was an oversight. Those attacks become Water/Poison type (shocker)

  10. It's that time again. As one user pointed out, since E15's fields have been implemented, I can finally start announcing some of them. But one at a time. Small bites. Chew before you swallow.

Or better yet with this field, try not to swallow anything at all, because it'll kill you from the inside-out.

I've basically already confirmed this one, so we may as well start with it, hm? The Murkwater Surface is a hybrid between the Water Surface and some of the other poison fields. Created by using Sludge Wave on the existing water fields, Murkwater makes a pretty miserable time for all but the select few Pokemon who benefit from both sides of it.

But, perhaps it could be useful against a certain trainer, if at some cost.

E15 is chugging along, but we're obviously not there yet. Don't worry though, I'll do my best to cut through the rest of it... so to speak.

  11. A 14.6.2 has been uploaded to the same link location in the opening post. This upload has the following fixes. For real this time. I hope.

    • Double battle partner issues, again
    • Double Power Item script hang
    • Opposing trainers in doubles and singles failing to send out Pokemon
