Hello people !

I was checking some information about Furfrou and I found out it could be a very cool Pokémon to use if it has had a crest while being lore accurate. It's a ZU Pokémon we haven't seen in game since Gen 7 ! It's a Pokémon with a nice design with the possibility to change its trim. It's more a company Pokémon than a fighter, but come on ! Let's make it better ! It's even possible to do it by adding a new side quest linked to its trims.

My idea is to create a new quest in Neo East Gearen City with the hairdresser family. It's a family the player can help at the beginning of the game and offer the possibility to groom their Pokémon. Plus we know the mother is runnning a second hairdressing salon for the helpless people from GDC. Adrien could have learnt of this activity and offers us via the Help Center to help them (During Karma Files or when Neo East Gearen City is available). The goal of this quest could be helping the hairdresser family to make official the second hairdressing salon by donating funds, Pokémon and/or volunteers and a new site inside the city. At the end of the quest, a volunteer working for the second site could offer grooming sessions for Furfrou. Then its other trim forms would be available. Finally, the player could receive at the Help Center the Furfrou Crest.

I've said enough about this quest, now let's talk about the crest. Since Furfrou is a very weak Pokémon with a very poor movepool, I've got the idea to give several effects to its crests.

	1) New Haircut = a second STAB

The first main issue of Furfrou is its lack of offensive coverage on the physical side. Just imagine, the only coverage moves it has to beat Steel Types are Dig and Rock Smash ! Plus, the other coverage moves are pretty limited and lack power : Wild Charge, Iron Tail, Zen Headbutt, U-Turn and Sucker Punch. On top of that, Furfrou didn't benefit from the lastedt generations moves since it isn't available since 2019. With its pure Normal typing, Furfrou is having a bad time to find its place in any team and then it lacks offensive presence. Add to the mix its support movepool is extremely limited and you have a Pokémon easily outperformed by a huge part of the Pokémon available.

To help Furfrou to become a more useful Pokémon, we need to give it a second typing according to its 9 trims available :

	Normal trim : Fighting

	Heart Trim : Fairy

	Star Trim : Rock

	Diamond Trim : Steel

	Debutante Trim : Electric

	Matron Trim : Psychic

	Dandy Trim : Grass

	La Reine Trim : Water

	Kabuki Trim : Fire

	Pharaoh Trim : Ground

To keep access to its normal type STAB, not all its Normal type moves will be converted. Only "Hapiness moves" such as Return & Frustration will get the second dual type of Furfrou.

Note : the type gained by Furfrou also adds the types' weakeness ! Otherwise Furfou would have 0 weakness with its Heart and Psychic trims, which would destabilize the strategic choice of the trim (for the defensive part).

Moreover, having a dual typing is always wanted when you want to be offensive. The different dual typing would allow Furfrou to expand a lot its coverage, here are the different coverage combo we have here :

These screenshots only take into account the dual STABs of each trim, so there is no moves like Dig or Rock Smash taken into account. Anyway, its poor movepool won't be useful enough to fit in many sets, so consider to keep the dual STABs to expand the coverage and nothing else.

	2) Increasing the firepower of the Pokémon

The lack of a second STAB is not the only Furfrou's problem to inflict damage. Indeed, it only has a 80 Attack Base Stat ! It's very weak compared with other Pokémon like Rapidash or Infernape while they struggle themselves to deal consistent damage. Having a second STAB helps, but as I've said before, the current physical moves of Furfrou lack base power except for Return, Frustration and Iron Tail which are 100 BP moves. Plus, the better Normal STAB of Furfrou will be Body Slam with a 80 BP (new move for Furfrou in Pokémon Rejuvenation, may Arceus bless you Jan's Team).

So we need to add a second effect to increase the firepower of Furfrou : using its defense stat to deal physical damage. To make this effect consistent for Furfrou, the Fur Coat ability should be taken into account for calculating the new attack stat of Furfrou. However, the attack stat boost will be the only one taken into account to deal damage with its Physical Attacks. The only set up move available for Furfrou would be Work Up.

	3) Summary of the Crest and possible sets

Description of the crest : Furfrou's physical attacks use its Defense stat. Gains a second type according to its trim. Hapiness moves become the trim type.

It's already the end of the presentation ! I know I've added 3 effects for the Furfrou Crest, but yeah ! It's a ZU Pokémon we want to be viable for the end game ! Even if it has a better Pokémon like this, it still has weaknesses. Furfrou still has a limited offensive, set up and support movepool. Let's show you that :

	Furfrou @ Crest
Ability: Fur Coat
EVs: 252 Def / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Return
- Body Slam
- U-turn / Work Up
- Sucker Punch

With this spread stat, it's like ith has a 201 BS attack stat without investment. But you could run a bulkier set too :

	Furfrou @ Crest
Ability: Fur Coat
EVs: 96 HP / 252 Def / 160 Spe
Impish Nature
- Return
- Body Slam / Sleep Talk
- Work Up
- Rest

Finally, Furfrou is a very good Pokémon to tank physical attack and deal huge damage quickly even if it needs a 252 EVs investment in Defense. It still can set up some Work Up but lacks effective healing tools. Without the Leftovers, the only way to heal itself is using Rest. Plus, Furfrou remains vulnerable against strong attackers :

	252 SpA Life Orb Lucario Aura Sphere vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Furfrou: 338-400 (95.4 - 112.9%) -- 75% chance to OHKO a full HP Furfrou

252+ Atk Guts Conkeldurr Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fur Coat Furfrou: 338-398 (95.4 - 112.4%) -- 75% chance to OHKO (With the Fighting Type weakness)

	252+ SpA Primarina Moonblast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Furfrou: 181-214 (51.1 - 60.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (neutral damage)

	252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Weather Ball (100 BP Fire) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Furfrou in Sun: 310-366 (87.5 - 103.3%) -- 25% chance to OHKO (neutral damage)

	252 SpA Manectric-Mega Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Furfrou: 165-195 (46.6 - 55%) -- 66.4% chance to 2HKO (neutral damage)

Let's remember Furfrou really needs a huge power up to compete with other Pokémon, since it lacks utility without the crest. The crest allows Furfrou to be used of an Offensive Utility Pokémon whose the second type can be adapted to the needs of your Team. Need an Electric Type Immunity, let's take the ground type !

You've understand, Furfrou will be the super ugly dog we wanted

	Hi everyone !
I started a new game for the V13 and i'm running mono fire. I'm interested in using Alolan Marowak this time. I captured a few Cubones and was lucky to get one with Adamant nature and pretty decent IVs, i evolved him in Goldenleaf all good so everything seemed to roll for it.
But you feel it coming, Alolan Marowak without Thick club is pretty much a joke so here i am trying to get one. I precise that i am in Chapter 4, i just got in Goldenleaf.

I'm using the trick with K.Oed Dustox with Compound Eyes in the first slot and Stantler with Frisk in the second slot, so if i'm not mistaken it, i can't miss it right ?
I can't be more optimised in my Thick Club hunt right ??

It's just awfull, Cubone is so rare.. I find one every 30min when i'm lucky, i found dozens and dozens of it and nothing. Not one single Thick Club...
I'm starting to think that i do something awfully wrong and that it absolutely can't be that tedious. I did research to find any other way to get a Thick Club but apparently this is the only way.

Am i doing something wrong guys ? Can we find or buy a Thick Club in the game at any point ? Or do i have to spent another 15hours going back and forth in the Goldenleaf grass ?

Thanks in advance ! (and sorry for clunky english, i hope i am clear enough)

Very, very late to the "fan games / roms" scene, just kind of randomly got interest a few weeks ago, but Rejuvenation came highly recommended to me and I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience. The team did a great job and set the bar awfully high for me; I'm not even sure I'll want to explore many other options to get the ol' pokemon fix. There's a difficulty built in to the game that makes it much more enjoyable to me and drags the "early game" out a lot longer. Not as many revives to spam, no early legendaries, the level cap, etc. Story line has been very fun so far (I just beat the Thunder Warrior in a hilariously easy first-try, unlike Rift Chandelure that bullied me for a bunch of tries). I do think I need to do a harder run in the renegade route but I don't know if I'm ready for a nuzlocke run.

Anyway, I just wanted to extend big thanks to the folks that made Rejuvenation. Love went into it and you can tell. And thank you for the expansive list of starters and the ability to easily restart in-client so I can reroll for shinies. I'm an old gen 3 player and never played anything newer so experimenting with a load of new pokemon I've never seen before has been wonderful. Still, my starter's hard carried me in every difficult fight so far. This little girl is going in my personal hall of fame for sure.

	Hi, guys!

Post eclesia pyramid, my game has bugged like this, I always have Aelita, Ren and Audino following me endlessly. I tried reloading at that moment, and it didn't work:

Since I couldn't fix it, I've progressed in the story, but it gets annoying after a while. Can someone tell me how to solve this?

	Thanks!!!

Hi, first of all, I apologize if reading this post hurts your eyes. I don't speak fluent English.
I'm having trouble catching Regirock because I can't get back to the Corrupted Cave.
I know I had to use Rock Smash on a pillar on the other side, but I didn't do it at the time, and now I'm stuck.
I appreciate your help.

Hi there! Been loving 13.5 so far, and have played through the entire game once again to experience the new areas how they were meant to be experienced -- on a fresh playthrough. Now that I've beaten the story up to its completion at the moment, though, I decided to go around and catch some of the legendaries. While Regice and Regirock didn't give me too much trouble getting to... after learning that Regirock was somewhere in the Garufan Ruins area, I've been losing my mind trying to get back there.

I entered Caratos Cave through the waterfall entrance in Sheridan, as the other entrance in Keta's House is blocked off thanks to some repairman saying Aelita will be the next sensei and that they're fixing the house up for her. I have spent around an hour in this starting part of the cave looking around for the entrance to the Corrupted Cave, but have only come out with one location that I can't get to, one that I can, but doesn't help me, and one that is caved in, presumably from the events that happened here earlier in the story.

Firstly, what I think is the direction I'm supposed to go, but I can't. The first picture attached shows a gap between two stretches of land with a strange black dot in the middle. I can't find any Strength boulders around to push in there, so I don't think that's the solution, but the only other solution I can think of is to smash the rock in the stone structure on the other side of the gap, which I... can't get to.

Second, the ladder, shown in the second picture. This leads to the underground part of the factory that you fight Volcanion at, where I'm pretty sure you can find yourself a machine that gives you both an Ancient Teachings and a Ralts. I have found no way to return to the Corrupted Cave from there, afaik.

Last, the caved in entrance. I'll be honest and say I don't exactly remember where this leads, but as the entrance is sealed off with seemingly no way to unclog it, so I'm assuming it was for a story point we're not supposed to return to.

I may just be being hilariously stupid and missing something obvious that gets me there, but because of the time I've spent here, I'm starting to feel like I'm looking for a weak point in a sturdy brick wall. Thus, I ask for help here.

Hey, sorry if making a new thread for this isn't the right move but I didn't see a spot where this was already answered. (If it has, then sorry about that!)

I'm not here to bug anyone about how long new versions take or anything like that, but I just learned about this game today and while I am eager to check it out I am a little worried about picking it up when I don't know when a new version will come, and if that will require me starting over again.

So, to ask the question in the thread name...will I be required to start fresh if a new version comes out? And if so, am I better off waiting for 1.4 to finally be done so that way I'll be sure nothing else is coming? Thanks for your time.

I can't find an answer on the wiki. I sold most my cell batteries in the really early game because I was short on money and didn't know about the cash farming Pokemon trainers. Now I'm at the point where I could get the Raltz if I had them. Is there some way I can get more, or am I locked out entirely?

There are 2 kinds of mods I am asking about. The first is a model replacement. I've been using the debug menu to play as Aelita's model. I personally would love to see some other models (mainly cutscene-specific ones), to be playable. The second is, has anyone made Rift Mons usable, and or the mons unattainable by the player, even with the debug menu?

Ofc I DON'T want to evolve him in Raichu. Do we have in this game some instruments that make base stade pokemon stronger? (Also other than Pikachu)

			Hi folks !

It has been some time I haven't done an Aevian form on this discussion thread and I wanted to work on a new style I haven't done yet. Before presenting the new form, I need to explain the contest : Rejuvenation is a continuity concernning Fields mechanics.

Plus, the game is known for having a complex history and lore. I wanted to create a Pokémon which reflects these 2 topics, so here is Aevian Banette !

Avant tout, Banette and its pre evolution will have a regional form, so I'll start with Shuppet.

Pokedex Entry : Decades ago, it was a popular among the children. Nowadays, this subspecies is almost extinct.

I won't detail more Shuppet but with its evolution they will have a softer design. This regional form will be like white dolls with blue eyes and some zippers for the evolution.

Now a bit of lore about these two little guys :

Before the cataclysm, there were no Ghost-type Shuppet and Banette. They were popular dolls every child wanted to have. But due to the cataclysm, most of them lost their owner, making them to feel anger and pain, leading them to become the Shuppet and Banette we currently know.
Plus the Aevian Shuppet and Banette will be extremely rare since none remember how to craft them.

I also decided to incorporate that notion in their evolution mechanic : A-Shuppet evolves into A-Banette with a level-up after reaching a high friendship cap.

Here is the second Pokedex Entry : Only the most loving owner could have their Shuppet to evolve, becoming a delicacy. In return, it is highly faithful to their trainer and does everything in its power to support them.

Once you gained the trust of your A-Shuppet, it evolves into a A-Banette able to support you the best it can. Of course, you've understood this regional form will be a support Pokémon.

Of course, A-Banette gets a vaste movepool to support your team but it has some limits. Status moves gets priority only if they have the same typing as Banette !

Banette gets the Dark ? Beware of Taunt or Fast Parting Shot ! All the support movepool cannot be used in the same set while taking benefit from A-Banette ability, making it less effective in some situations compared to other Pokémons with the Prankster ability. Let's had to that A-Banette must communicate some information about its movepool if it wants to get a secondary typing. First, it will communicate its new typing, and reveal one of its moves ! Thats means you can get an idea of the movepool Banette could have.
Let's take an example :
You're facing an A-Banette with Normal / Dark typing ?
Okay, don't try to set up on him, unless you have the Contrary ability, and destroy it with a Fighting move.

Now, I'll show you some sets you can use :

Overlay Setter
Banette @ Amplified Rock
Ability: Adaptive Toolbox
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Electric Terrain / Psychic Terrain / Grassy Terrain / Misty Terrain
- Rising Voltage / Expanding Force / Sleep Powder / Loving Burst
- Recover
- Parting Shot

Hazard Controller + Phazer
Banette @ Leftovers
Ability: Adaptive Toolbox
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Roar
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Parting Shot

Weather Setter
Banette @ Weather Rock
Ability: Adaptive Toolbox
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rain Dance
- Weather Ball / Loving Burst
- Glare
- Parting Shot

As you see, sometimes its vast movepool doesn't always work perfectly to complete a role and it'll suffer the 4 Moveslots Syndrom => Depending on the situation you would have needed another move (with priority or not).
But like this, a well prepared A-Banette may shine by its utility :)

Alright I know what you're thinking "aren't there already guides on how to run these games on mobile", to which I say yes but those are either outdated and/or lack a very useful tool which is MapConverter which will increase your performance and fix a lot of bugs in general. So please if it's not to much trouble, give this post an upvote and a reply so that it's easier to find on google for wayward souls like me who are obsessed with playing these games on mobile.

The Easy Way (Apple & Android) - Steam Link app or something similar

While this isn't my favorite method it gets the job done and is also accessible on apple. Rather than trying to emulate the game on your phone it's a lot easier to access your computer remotely and just control the game with your phone. There's a lot of apps that do this but I'm going to walk you through how I did it with Steam Link. For this you will need:

		The Steam Link App

A Steam account as well as the desktop app

		a lack of paranoia

For whatever it's worth while giving outside control to your PC to a third party seems pretty sketchy I haven't had anything bad happen to me, I haven't been hacked or anything similar either.

	Anyways back to the guide.

First login on the steam link app

open steam on your computer (make sure to be logged in)

On the steam link app open up settings then tap "computer" once it has found your computer select and exit out of settings and press play, it will then prompt you to enter a PIN on your computer

Then on the desktop version of steam click on the word steam in the top left corner, it should give you a drop down menu, select settings.

Once the settings dialogue box pops up you'll want to click on the remote play tab, click on Pair Steam Link and then enter the PIN that you got earlier. It will take a moment to verify the connection

exit out of settings and hit play

Then if you launch whatever game you want you should be good to go. (for something like reborn I highly recommend using a mod that allows you to click things.)

IF you mess around with the settings enough you should be able to find something that works well for you.

And now for the Cool way

The Hard way - Android only - With Joiplay

Joiplay is a fantastical technology that through some occult ritual allows you to run RPG maker games on your phone. So far I've tested Pokemon Reborn, Rejuvenation, Insurgence and Uranium and they have all worked. (Unfortunately games like Pokemon Phoenix Rising which run off of a modified version of RPG maker seems to be off limits for now)

Setting up Map Converter (you don't necessarily have to do this but I recommend it)

Download MapConverter from here onto your desktop, and take the .exe file out of the .zip file you got

Download the game you want to play on mobile onto your computer

Extract the game (if it's a .zip file)

Move the mapconverter.exe file that you downloaded first into your game's folder and double click it to run it,

Keep your cursor on the window that it opens, it won't run in the background

		wait a little bit

once the loading bar finishes you should be all set to...

	     Setup the Game with Joiplay

Download Joiplay, you can find it as an APK on their Patreon or as a an app on the google play store (I recommend the playstore option, things will be simpler in the long run)

Download the RPG maker plugin, also available on the appstore and Patreon

Download your game of choice onto your phone (or tablet I guess)

Extract the game (if it's a zipped file) into a folder onto your phone and remember where you put it - you might need to download another app to do this, I recommend File Manager (there are multiple apps under that name, choose the one with green in it's icon)

open up Joiplay, press the plus at the bottom right and you'll be presented with a dialogue box

Put anything you want into the name slot, it doesn't make a difference

Tap the choose file button - navigate through your files to your game and then select the .exe file that launches the game. (The thing you double click to launch it on desktop)

Choose a icon for the game (optional)

Hit done, your game should now show up as a button on the main screen of the Joiplay app.

Tap on said button and launch it, hopefully everything should be good to go.

Please let me know if I can explain any of this better and/or if you're having trouble getting this to work for yourself. Also I know of a way to sync your progress between Joiplay and desktop but I'm tired, let me know if you want me to add a section on that and I will.

Kind of underwhelming to see that the literal deities of space and time and arceus spawns(the one this game revolves around) have such a side character role to the whole plot. Giratina and the pixies too.

As there's been a recent influx of people drawing fanart/making a fanwork of the game and/or creating OC's for Rejuvenation specifically, it only seems appropriate that an official, pinned thread gets opened for the people who have drawn fanart of the game! The old ones kept getting buried, so now there's one thread that will permanently be pinned to the subforum so it's easy to find. The only thing we ask of you is that any drawings made within a month of the most recent version's release are put in a spoiler to avoid spoiling people on accident - other than that, go ham!

Also, it doesn't matter whether it's old or new stuff you've made -- if you've made any, feel free to post it here. We'd love to see it!

Maybe a stupid question to ask, but is there any way (or any mod) to show the typing(s) of the pokemons during fights?
